i’m, going to show you a simple and effective strategy for finding winning products to dropship on shopify, and i’m also going to cover how to transition your product into a brand.
They get stuck in this process and never end up, launching anything and truth be told there’s, no secret to finding winning products and the methods that i’m gonna show. You today are really the most effective things that i’ve, come to know in my entire ecommerce journey.
So without further ado, let’s begin now. I’ve, prepared a little presentation here for you to make this process really smooth and seamless and, as you can see, i do have my instagram tagged in the bottom left corner there just in case.
You want to follow me on ig, but what we’re going to be covering in this video is the winning product criteria that you need to be following in order to have more successful product launches. Also, we’re, going to be covering how to actually find winning products in the most effective and simplest way possible.
And lastly, as i mentioned, i’m, going to be covering how to actually build a brand with the products that you’re testing and advertising, because building a brand is very important similar to buying a house.
Building a brand is an asset that only gains value as it grows and now more than ever before, there is investors and just big companies trying to buy smaller ecommerce brands, and we’ve, seen so many examples of brands getting acquired for hundreds of Millions of dollars that started their online stores, just like you and i so of course, the first thing that we need to talk about is simply what the winning product criteria is.
If you’ve, never actually had a successful product that you’ve advertised on facebook or google or wherever. Then it’s, probably gonna be tough for you to figure out sort of what a winning product looks like.
So i’ve, prepared here, a sort of small checklist or criteria that you can use every time you look at a potential product now. I will warn you after watching this video it’ll, probably change your perspective on commerce in general.
After getting into ecommerce now every time i go to any store, i have this sort of criteria in mind. It’s, kind of a habit that you’ll, probably develop too. But with that being said, the first criteria that you, your product needs to meet is for it to be unique.
Now uniqueness can be defined in many different ways, but the first way that i have listed here, which is actually one of the best things that you can have for a winning product, is for the product to be new to the market.
Now, of course, this is just criteria that i’ve prepared for you to find the most successful products, but that doesn’t mean that other products can’t work. There are, of course, many people who sell very generic products and find success that way.
But if you want to have the highest likelihood of success and to be able to build a brand, you need to find something that’s relatively new to the market. Another way for your product to be unique is for it to be fun or quirky.
Now there’s. Many examples of this, such as you know, customizable socks with your dog’s face on them. We’ve. All seen these sorts of products, you know these don’t necessarily solve any problems, but they’re really funny, and you know they’re very shareable, so those are also really unique products that could be potential winners and Then, of course, the last thing when it comes to uniqueness is for your product to not be easily found in stores.
I recently made a video about a multi-million dollar sock brand and i use the example that you know it’s really difficult to actually build a brand around that niche, because socks are so easily found, and i do stand by that statement.
I believe that you know the more easily your product is found in stores the harder it is for you to be able to sell it online and advertise it online and, of course, as facebook ads continue to rise in cost.
That’s, not going to make it any easier, so that’s, always something to keep in mind, make sure that your products are unique and that they cannot be found in stores. Now the next set of criteria is for your product to be high in demand.
Now there’s, many ways for you to figure out how high the demand for your product is, but the main way to approach this is to see if your product solves any particular problem and the bigger the problem is the higher the demand for Your product is going to be, i think, elon musk has a quote in regards to this, not winning products, but in regards to solving problems.
He said something like you get paid in proportion to the magnitude of the problems that you solve, something along those lines. He’s, basically saying the bigger the problem that you’re solving the bigger you’re, going to get paid, and this definitely translates into winning products.
I mean you could say the tesla electric car is a winning product because it solves a huge massive problem, start thinking of winning products, not just as generic infomercial products. You know that you see really late at night and that you only see on general stores.
If you’re familiar with drop shipping, you can think bigger and think sort of outside of the box and maybe start thinking of problems that people may have and start your research there as opposed to just browsing products now another way to figure out High demand is whether or not your product has a passionate audience behind it.
So, for example, with the brand i’m building right now, we’re actually in the fashion space, which is a space that i really love. As you can see, i love design and fashion is one of those things and while our products do solve an ethical problem, they don’t necessarily solve a problem such as like acne cream would, for example, but the fashion niche is very passionate and We’re able to tap into those feelings to build a massive community, so that’s.
A great way to determine demand, and the last way i have here is for it to be a big trend. For example, earlier this year with the virus, it was easy to spot. The trend. Right masks were a big thing and they still continue to be a big thing.
So that is a big trend, and you know that there’s, going to be a lot of demand behind it and the last winning product criteria that i want to leave you with is real value. Now i hear so many people talking about high perceived value as a criteria and of course i would agree that high perceived value definitely helps with having higher margins.
But i urge you to look for real value as opposed to just perceived value and the reason i say that is because i want you all to build tangible brands that actually provide value for the world. I don’t believe it’s, ethical to mark up a price just so that you can fit in your marketing cost.
If the product doesn’t actually have any value. That’s, not how you build a respectable brand with happy customers and it’s, not sustainable by any means. If you’re, not looking for real value chances, are your product is just gonna end up in the garbage, polluting the world and not helping anyone, and obviously i’m, not the police.
Here i can ‘ T really tell you what to do, but i urge you to try to do things ethically, because you know we all got to do our part and trust me. It feels much better to run a real value business as opposed to fake value.
The last thing i want to say on real value is that if you’re, the type of person who doesn’t really care about these things, and you’re willing to run a business unethically. Then you shouldn’t, get mad at fake gurus that scam people, because at the end of the day you’re, not much better than them.
You’re kind of doing the same thing except you’re. Hiding behind your screen, as opposed to them, showing their face so yeah i’m, not trying to come at any of you. Obviously i love all you guys, and i love the community that we built here, but i just really want to set a high standard and of course i want to lead by example and show you good principles of business as opposed to just sketchy business.
But i digress: let’s continue here now how to find winners. This is where we’re going to get pretty interesting. I actually want to show you a really amazing product research method that i only found in the last.
You know. Five or six months – and i don’t, hear many people talking about it. But first i want to let you know that the biggest industry secret when it comes to finding winning products or even just succeeding online, is that there is no secret, and i know that might be tough to hear for a lot of you, because most people are Looking for shortcuts, but unfortunately there is no secret.
Finding products is actually pretty easy. There’s products everywhere right and, as i just mentioned, even when you go to the store, i’m sure you can get a lot of product ideas. The hard part is actually choosing which product to pursue, because there are so many available products that it’s really hard to just stick to one and that’s, where the winning product criteria will hopefully help you determine which product is The right product to pursue now the simplest way honestly to find winning products is just to go on aliexpress and use the free drop shipping center.
That aliexpress provides. I’ve actually covered this in a recent video that i will link in the description in case. You want to check it out, but briefly, i do want to show you how this works, so you basically just go on your aliexpress account and then there is a section: titled drop shipping center.
This is free to use. So you don’t have to pay to use this at all, and what you can do is look at products right here that are trending on aliexpress. So something like this, for example, has a ton of orders and it has a great rating.
So it has real value and has a lot of demand, as you can see by the orders, now, of course, the more orders that something has the less new it is to the market. So it is a possibility that you’re, actually selling something sort of at the end of its trend.
Every product has a cycle and you typically want to get in the cycle when it’s, beginning so, somewhere between zero and a thousand orders, as opposed to something that has like 7 000 orders, but that’s.
Basically, the simplest way to find products now the most effective way in my opinion, however, is facebook search so basically by finding successful facebook ads out there now. The thing about this is that most people who are advertising a product on facebook and is getting a lot of views.
They’re, paying a lot of money to advertise that product and common sense will tell you that if somebody is paying money to advertise something chances, are they’re, making some sort of money back. So this is why i believe this is a great way to find winning products now.
This is also how i find winning ads to review for you guys here, and you guys have been asking me for a long time to make a video in regards to this, and maybe i will make a separate video about this, but quickly i want to show You a tool that i actually use and the tool is called drop point now.
This is a paid tool, but luckily it’s only like five dollars a month, so it’s extremely affordable and it’s pretty great, because what you can do is actually find products like this. That has you know 700 shares 380.
000 views. You know that this product is doing well for somebody, so this is a great way to find products that are up and coming and that are not necessarily super saturated that are still relatively new to the market and it’s great because you can See what the competition is doing in real time and see what you can do to improve and add value for your customers, because, as i mentioned in the beginning, that’s, what a brand does a brand adds value to their customers lives.
If you’re doing things worse than your competition, you’re, not going to beat them, and you’re, going to be wasting your money when it comes to advertising which nobody wants to do now. I would recommend that you put the max shares here somewhere around 500 and a thousand, so let’s just say a minimum of 300 and a maximum of a thousand shares, and here it ‘
Ll show us a lot of products that that are proven to be selling, but are still not extremely saturated, like a lot of other products might be now, as i mentioned, that’s, in my opinion, the most effective way to find winning products.
This is actually how i found the products that sort of gave me the idea for the brand that i’m building right now, and i think most people would agree. I’m, really curious. If you’ve had a winning product before.

Lastly, what i want to talk about is actually building a brand with these products, because, as i just mentioned, i don’t, find it to be super sustainable to just ship stuff from aliexpress, because really what you’re doing is profiting Off of people’s, negligence of the existence of aliexpress, as they could easily just shop for that product on aliexpress.
So, in order to work around that, you need to be putting yourself in a brand building mentality. Now, building a brand around a winning product really works best with products that are new to the market or that have a big passion niche behind them, as i mentioned in the product research criteria – and this is why i use this as criteria for winning products, because Really, if you’re trying to build a brand around a product that’s, been sold by hundreds and thousands of other drop shippers chances.
Are it’s, probably at the end of its cycle, and it’s, not gonna be worth to pursue. You actually might end up losing a lot of money, investing in stock and branding it so make sure that you find something that is ideally new to the market and that is not being drop shipped by other people so that you can actually build authority around them.
So, by branding and building authority around your product, you’re, actually going to be able to beat amazon and ebay. So i get that question. A lot is already: why would people shop on my store if my product is easily found on amazon or ebay well? This is why, if you actually build authority around your product and you build a brand behind it, people will want to shop in your store, as opposed to amazon, because of the experience and the community that you’re building and we really can’t keep ignoring amazon as they keep exponentially growing.
I mean i’m, a shareholder on in amazon. I truly believe that they’re, going to continue to be like the biggest company this world has ever seen. So i don’t think it’s, smart to continue to ignore them.
You have to think of ways to actually beat them. They’re part of the competition as well, and they’re, probably the biggest competition that you have so make sure that you’re building authority around your product and, of course, that also means stepping away from aliexpress and Shipping, your products with sourcing agents – i’ve – actually made a video on this in the past.

Going to be showcasing my free product research, blueprint methods that enables me to find 1k a day products within around about 10 minutes. Now the thing that i love about this strategy is number one: it’s completely free number.
Two: it’s very simple number: three: these tactics have never really been used before some of them that i’ll, be shown today. Nobody’s ever spoken about them before. I want to show you quickly some proof that this actually works. So you can see here i’m in a student shopify dashboard. You can see in the last seven days he’s done two hundred and ten dollars. Now i’m gonna refresh the screen.
So you guys know this is real, and these ain’t just some draft orders and i’m, also gonna be showing you the draft orders too. So you know this isn’t fake. So i’m gonna change this to the last seven days again, so we actually started testing the product on the 28th of july.
It’s now the 4th of july, and you can see 1 210 now, if you look at some of the individual days for this product, so today it’s on 49. Yesterday, 359, the day before that 168, the day before that 235.
So that just shows you that this is just a new product that we’ve just started testing and you can see it’s time to get some great traction. Now, if i show you the actual draft orders just to show that this is these ain’t draft orders, you can see no actual draft orders.
Now i’m, going to be showing you the first free blueprint strategy for the product. Research now the first one’s, going to be the free youtube method and this method, nobody’s else – has ever spoken about it before so.
Consider yourselves lucky today. Now, as you can see on the screen, i’m in a google doc, and this google doc is a cheat sheet to help you through the whole process of this blueprint today and i’ll, be leaving in the description as soon As we hit 3 000 likes on this video, because it also tells you all the strategies how to do them, and it also gives you an example of how to do them.
So the first thing that you want to do for this strategy is, you want to head over to youtube and you want to go to the search bar and i’m, going to search for something like tech under 50.. So i’m going to do tech under 50 and then i’m, going to search for it.
Now, if you’re in the tech niche, this is a great way of doing it. Now, once you’ve done this, it’s, going to show you loads of different youtube videos of you, big youtubers, basically reviewing and telling their subscribers what they should buy under the 50 threshold.
Now you can do tech under 20 tech under 30. You can do all of those. Now, if you look at this video here, i’m, going to click it, and once you click the video. If you look in the description of the video, you’re, going to see all the links, the products that this guy recommends – and you can see here.
These are the links right here and you can see the one that stood out to me was the headphone stand charge. So i’m, going to click on the link and then once i clicked on the link it’s actually gonna. Take me to the amazon page of the product, and you can see it’s.
This headphone stand with a charging port for the phones, which is really really cool. Now, once you’ve done this, what you want to do is you want to look for the exact same product on aliexpress, because nine times out of ten anything that’s on amazon is on aliexpress.
So what i’m gonna do is i’m gonna copy this bit here. Headphone stand with usb charger. I’m gonna click copy and then i’m gonna head over to aliexpress and literally search for this exact same product and then once i’ve done that i’m, going to sort it By orders – and then it’s, going to give me the products that are related to this.
So you can see this one right here. It’s, a wooden version of it, and, to be honest with you, i prefer this one because it actually gives you a phone stand as well. So i’m, going to click on this link here, the aliexpress one and you can see it’s, a wooden one.
You’ve, got the usb charge port there and you ‘ Ve also got a place where you can dock either three uh phones or you can dock three ipads or whatever you want, and it also has three usb chargers now.
If we compare that to the actual amazon one all you’re allowed to do on the amazon, one is put three usbs in there with the aliexpress one. You can also put your phone on there too, and it looks really really nice so that’s, one great way of doing it.
So i’m gonna be showing you a few different methods. You can use on youtube for different niches as well, so this was one great way for doing it on the beauty knee shop put in must-have beauty products.
If you search for that, you’re, going to see loads of different girls talking about different beauty products, different things that they use different accessories, they use, and you want to do the same strategy again.
You want to go on the video go in the description and look for the amazon links or the links to different websites, because funny enough, a lot of the links in these descriptions are to drop shipping sites as well.
Now, a few of the things that you want to consider is the filter thing in the top left here and you might want to filter it by the last hour. The last week, the last month, the last year that way you’re.
Staying up to date with the products that these people are recommending, so that’s, something that i personally like to do now. I’ll, be showing you another method you can use for pet products too. So the method for the pet niche for the youtube method could be best pet products on the search term, and then you can see this video here, 31 best pet products.
Now, unfortunately, this video doesn’t actually give you any links to amazon or anything, but you can literally just scroll through the video and look for the different products now this product right here is the bet pack and it’s where You can put your pet in there and they can obviously see, and obviously they’re safe at the same time.
Now. What i might want to do is i might want to go to aliexpress and search for bet pack. So i’m, going to go pet and then backpack, and then we’re, going to see what comes up in the search results and again guys make sure you change it to the top order.
So i’m, going to click orders again and then that will give me the products with the best order. Man – and you can see here this one had 5 000, but we’re, going to try and look for the exact same one and there you go.
You can see the exact same one there and if we keep scrolling down there’s, different versions of that. So all i need to do is literally go for the different alex press pages and you can find pretty much the same one.
But for now i’ve, seen one there, one there and there’s, a couple of others. If we click best match it might give us some other alternatives as well. There’s, the exact same one right here, so you can see when i click best match the exact same one’s coming up right there, so guys.
The second free blueprint method is actually going to pinterest go into the search bar and type in amazon must-haves, and then it’s. Going to give you loads of different pin. Photos are basically people posting different amazon products that they found, that they consider really really good and they must have for your household.
So you can see this photo here. I’m gonna click on it and you can see if you click the actual link at the top of the actual title it’ll. Actually take you to blogs, i’ll. Take you to websites, but this one’s.
Taken me to a blog where it’s. Actually a woman considering loads of different products and they’ve got the links in there to some of the amazon must-haves. Now that’s, one way you can do it. If you go back to the pinterest photo, if you scroll down it, will show you suggested photos related to that one, and you can see right here this one right here shows the teeth and we all know this is a drop shipping product and you can see Right here it’s, talking to a drop shipping website of the perfect smart snap-on braces, and we all know that this was a winning product.
Now, if we go back to pinterest again, you can search for things like beauty, hacks and again, if you search for things like that, it’s, going to give you products that people have used, and you can see this one right here – the pin Roller now, if you want to click on it, then you want to click on the link and it will take you to the pinterest or the website of that product, and you can see here the natural face, massage roller, so guys what i’m, Going to try and do to find this product on aliexpress is copy.
The face massage roller part of this product, page description and then i’m, going to go to aliexpress, search the exact same phrase and then sort it by orders. So you can see loads are coming up, but if we sort it by order amount, this one right here had 12 589 units sold, which is absolutely insane because that means it’s, a proven product so guys they’re.
Just a couple of ways to use pinterest to actually find winning drop shipping products. Now. Another good thing that you can do is you can search for other search terms that are related to any niche. You can do.
Phone cases must have phone cases, cool phone cases and do things like that. You just got ta think outside the box. So the third free blueprint method to find products is go in on twitter and what you wan na do.
Is you wan na go to the search bar and you wan na search things like phone cases, and then you want to change it to either photos or videos. They’re. The two that i personally use. So i’m gonna go down the photo section, and literally all you’re.
Looking to do is go through these different photos and try and find phone cases that you’d. Think could look like they’re on aliexpress, or what you can do is you: can click on the photo that looks like a product click on the profile and see if there’s a link or if you click on the photo And look in the thread: the thread is basically the comment section.
Sometimes these guys will leave links in there to basically shop for because it’s, basically a paid influencer post. So what i’m going to do quickly, is look through a couple of these and come back once i find one that’s, actually pretty good.
So after looking on twitter for a few minutes, i was able to find this image and this post of this person posting about these phone accessories. These airpod accessories – and i know in this image some of these products are winning products, and i can just tell because i’ve, seen them on aliexpress with thousands of orders.
So what i might want to do is i’m, not going to go to the profile and then they normally either have a website link or another social media link. So i’m, going to click on the instagram and you can see it’s.
Taking me to her instagram and it’s, actually a business that she owns called cases by max and you can see it’s literally foam accessory products, air pod products – and you can see there’s loads of different Winning products that i’ve, seen previously on aliexpress on her instagram.
So after going through instagram for a few minutes and then going on aliexpress and trying to search for some of these products, i was able to find this case here called the real dry flour glitter case and it’s.
Had 19 000 orders, which is absolutely insane – and this just shows that these strategies can find you some insanely great products on aliexpress, so guys. The next free blueprint strategy to find drop.
Shipping products is to go to google and you’re, going to be searching for your industry biggest brands. So i’m, going to be pretending that i’m in the beauty makeup industry. So what i’m going to do is i’m, going to search your biggest makeup brands now search your biggest makeup brands.
What i want to do is i want to go through some of these different articles and blogs and try and go through different brands and go on their websites and then go to their best sellers so guys after browsing a few different articles and different blogs.
I came across this blog and it ranked number 25 sephora as one of the best makeup brands in the world and then what i’m going to do is hit shop sephora and i’m, going to go through their best stylers.
So guys you can see, i’m on sephora. I’m, going to go to all products, and then i’m gonna head over to best sellers, and you can see here the best seller. Is this lip gloss right here, so i’m gonna click, the lip gloss right here and then what i’m gonna do is i’m gonna try and see if this lip gloss is on aliexpress Or if something similar is on aliexpress, so after going to aliexpress and searching for the sephora best solid lip gloss or lipstick whatever you want to call it, i was able to find this one on aliexpress it’s, got 12 000 orders.
Very good reviews: 4.7 star reviews. It comes in 12, different colors and it does the exact same thing for a lot cheaper, and this is another great way to find winning products in different niches in different industries.
So that’s. Just one example of how to use google search looking for the biggest brands in your industry or niche, then looking at their best sellers and seeing if you can find any drop shipping products related to that product or the exact same one on aliexpress.
So the last free blueprint method to find dropshipping products is to head over to tiktok and unfortunately, you can’t. Do this on a laptop or a desktop. You must do this on your mobile phone and you should see my mobile phone screen right now.
You want to head over to the search section and you want to search for amazon fine. So i’m, going to type in amazon fines and you can see right there. It heads up to the number one search term and you can see you want to search it by top, so you want to change it to top, and then you want to scroll through this and you just want to look for different drop shipping products.
And if we actually look on my screen right here, i’ve just found a video and it looks like it’s, a balcony where you can put this thing on there and you can dry clothes. You can put plants on it. I’m, going to click on that video right now and then what i’m going to do is i’m actually going to click on the profile where it says, live favor here in the bottom left, with the App and it’ll, take me to their profile where you’ll either have their website link or another social media link.
Now, if we actually go through this page’s profile, you can see it’s. Actually, a tick tock account that just promotes loads of different drop shipping products, as you can see on here. These are all drop shipping products and this account is absolutely massive.
It’s, got 741 000 followers, which is absolutely insane and then what you guys want to do. Is you want to go through these different videos and search for these kind of products on aliexpress and what you can also do is you can actually go to different videos and click on the profile and look in the link section to see if they’ve actually got a link to a website where you can search the product on there too.
So i’ve, just gone back to the tick tock search section for amazon fines, and this video right here is of another aliexpress winning product and it’s. A baby tooth saver and i’m just gonna. Let it play a little bit and you can see right there.
You know this is from aliexpress and what you guys want to do. Is you just want to go through the different search terms? You can use amazon fines or you can search for things like phone cases or stuff like that, and you just want to go through the tick, tock search filter, and you just want to find these products and search them on aliexpress and see if they’re on there, so those were all the crazy free blueprint product research methods that i use to find dropshipping products that can do 1k a day and above now that’s, not it for now.
We need to also go over some very important factors that you must consider before going with one of these products. So the first thing is try to sell products with over 20 000 aliexpress orders. So if you go to the aliexpress page for this product, it’s got 12 000 orders, so it’s under 20 thousand.
Now the sweet spot for me is between five thousand and fifteen thousand. If you can get it in between that ratio, it’s a great way to go. So the next important factor is check daily orders on aliexpress drop shipping center.
The product should be getting five to ten percent of the total amount of orders a day. So if we go back to this lip gloss again, it’s had twelve thousand orders, so we must be getting a day between five and ten percent.
