<p>Yes, it hasn&#8217;t happened over the last year. It was many, many years of building it up, but I have written literally over 1,000 blog posts just in English. If you combine Portuguese and Spanish and other languages and German, I&#8217;ve probably written over 2,000 guest posts.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s a shit ton of content! Is it really worth it? I don&#8217;t do it anymore, so you&#8217;re probably like no. But you know what, I&#8217;ll actually tell you the answer, and it&#8217;s a bit more complicated than just a yes or no answer.</p>
<p>Now first off, if you&#8217;re in the B2C niche, if you&#8217;re out there selling dog shoes. I don&#8217;t know what you would be selling, but let&#8217;s say B2C niche, dog shoes or dog leashes or pick anything out there.</p>
<p>Chances are guest posting is not worth it because the amount of traffic that you can get from these sites and the amount of business it generates for the consumernage is so small, you will not generate enough revenue.</p>
<p>But on the flip side, for B2B, it is worth it in which you can make a shit ton of money. I&#8217;m talking about millions of dollars. And I can even give you an example of how I&#8217;ve done well through guest posting, but it&#8217;s not what you think in which you can&#8217;t just release a guest post or two guest posts and do well.</p>
<p>See when I started guest posting, I would write one or two articles a week and I&#8217;d be like oh, okay, I&#8217;m gonna write on Entrepreneur, Forbes, Inc., and you know what? I&#8217;m gonna get a shit load of business and people hitting me up for marketing advice and consulting, and guess how much business I drummed up from it.</p>
<p>Little to none. But after doing it for a year or two, what happened to all my articles on Entrepreneur, and Inc., and Forbes about social media marketing and SEO and link building and digital marketing? They started to rank on Google.</p>
<p>These articles started getting a ton of traction. And I wasn&#8217;t doing anything. Just over time, they naturally rank. Businesses would be like, oh, I read this article by Neil. Let&#8217;s hit him up.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s see what he does. And I would get business contracts from it. I wasn&#8217;t getting contracts that were like, hey I&#8217;ll pay you 1,000 bucks. Sure, those leads would come in, but I was getting some six figure contracts, and it was amazing, all because of all my guest posts out there.</p>
<p>But when people talk about guest posting, they&#8217;re like, yeah, you guest post, you&#8217;re gonna get business. No, they&#8217;re full of shit. I&#8217;ve done more than most people. I had a team who helped me manage my whole guest posting scheduling.</p>
<p>I had editors who helped me out, right? Just because I&#8217;m writing the articles doesn&#8217;t mean I could edit &#8217;em fast enough, add images. I was going at one point where I was doing one guest post per day, seven days week.</p>
<p>And there were short articles. I streamlined it down to like 700 word articles or 1,000 word in order to just crank &#8217;em out left and right, and some of the topics were regurgitated in which I would published similar articles on Entrepreneur as I did on Forbes.</p>
<p>I didn&#8217;t care. It wasn&#8217;t duplicate content. I would rewrite it, make it unique enough, but I was doing it so I can do quantity. What ended up happening is after a year or two, it drummed up business, but in the short run, it was a big time sink and a money loss.</p>
<p>And here&#8217;s the thing with guest posting. When I got started in it, the times were amazing and everyone was like, oh, I&#8217;m gonna guest post on Entrepreneur, Inc. so I can links and get higher rankings on Google.</p>
<p>You think this $700 billion company does know what you&#8217;re doing? You think they&#8217;re that dumb where they can&#8217;t stop it it. Those links don&#8217;t really help you that much. Instead, and even these blogs and these publishers, they&#8217;re no following these days.</p>
<p>But instead, you should be doing it to build authority, a name for yourself and drum up business. If you don&#8217;t do it in the long run, you&#8217;re not gonna do well. And that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m telling you, if you&#8217;re gonna guest post, you gotta do it for at least two years.</p>
<p>After the first year, you&#8217;ll start seeing some results. After two years, you&#8217;ll dominate and you&#8217;ll start getting business, and you can actually generate a seven figure business from it. My buddy, Jason, from AudienceBloom, he guest posts everywhere.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a seven figure business, not just what you can potentially sell the business for, but I&#8217;m talking about revenue. How does he get all his business? Guest posting. And all he did was write articles about marketing.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s worked for me, it&#8217;s worked for him, and it&#8217;s worked for tons of other people. My buddy, Nadav, from Inbound Junction, he&#8217;s built up a seven figure business, as well from guest posting.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not about selling links or anything like that. You build a business by becoming a authority in your space. Heck, I get speaking engagements &#8217;cause people are like, oh, I read your article on Content Marketing Institute.</p>
<p>Can you come to our company here in Dubai and speak? We&#8217;ll give you 20 grand for the hour, all because of guest posting. It&#8217;s priceless. If you want to do it, do it, but do it for two straight years.</p>
<p>If you wanna give up after that, that&#8217;s okay. There&#8217;s already, you know, five, 600 articles out there on the web. And you have to do at least five articles a week. Doing a few here and there doesn&#8217;t do shit.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s hit or miss. Some articles do well. Some don&#8217;t. So follow those strategies and you&#8217;ll create a shit load of income from guest posting, assuming you&#8217;re in B2B. If you&#8217;re in B2C, don&#8217;t waste your time.</p>

<p>I know a lot of affiliates that do this. It&#8217;s highly recommended definitely set up some campaigns. Seasonal campaigns are really cool to have going. Of course, you don&#8217;t want to rely on those. You want to try to utilize these as extra infusions of cash into your business, but bottom line is when I did the post.</p>
<p>I had mentioned something about using competitive, intelligent tools. To start our PPC campaigns, our pay-per-click campaigns, so, of course that opened the door to a bunch of people. Emailing me said: hey what exactly are you using for your competitive intelligence tools for your spy tools, and I have talked a little bit about this in a previous article, but I thought it would be really nice to respond specifically because I got you literally wouldn&#8217;t believe how many emails I got.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t even know. I didn&#8217;t even count. I stopped counting after a while of emails. People saying well that&#8217;s, great, that you use the spy tools but specifically which ones so we&#8217;re, going to take the time to go through the spy tools that I utilize.</p>
<p>There are others, but we use quite a few of them, because there are advantages and disadvantages of each. So if you have them all available that&#8217;s great you, don&#8217;t have to start with them all most are paid.</p>
<p>However, a lot do have a lot of these: do have free trials or you know cheap trials. If you will so, you can really get started for free or next to free. With that being said, though, with the pricing or the price point of these tools, it should be really easy for you to earn back a multiple of that fee, a significant multiple of that fee each month, if you&#8217;re paying monthly.</p>
<p>The only reason you really shouldn&#8217;t be getting a good return with these tools is, if you&#8217;re, simply not taking action on the research that you do, which brings me to another point. If you are going to utilize and pay for these spy tools, you know use them, create campaigns, don&#8217;t just do research and say: oh that looks like a profitable campaign.</p>
<p>I know a lot of guys that have spiked tools and they&#8217;re, really good at doing the research and pulling campaigns, but then they kind of sit on them, which is a complete waste. So the whole point is to gain competitive intelligence and then launch into profitable campaigns by executing right.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s, go ahead and get with the specific tools that we utilize and why we utilize them. Maybe some pros and cons so that you guys have a specific answer to what we use as per request. So here we go.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s start out with PPC. The pay per click tools that we utilize are a little cheaper than some of the media, buy tools and the banner tools. So let&#8217;s start here. Key works by is the first one that we utilize really two main.</p>
<p>If you will PPC specific spy tools, keywords by and spyfu, so let&#8217;s start with keyword spy. There is a free trial which is really cool. You can you can test this thing out a great interface. It&#8217;s, easy to use.</p>
<p>You know a kindergartner can use it. So, with these spy tools, you have the ability to type in a domain name. If you know a specific domain, name is bidding on a lot of key terms that you&#8217;re interested in a keyword or destination URL.</p>
<p>So, for example, if if you know there are specific affiliates promoting a specific offer, you know you can slap in the destination URL. It will track that there&#8217;s, also affiliate intelligence which can track affiliate, IDs and such so there.</p>
<p>There are a lot of really cool tools. You guys can dig into the specifics. I won&#8217;t waste your time here, but definitely take a look at keyword spines by food. So, instead of going through very specific features, let&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Just do a quick search and I&#8217;ll show you guys really quick how it works. Let&#8217;s, just use ebay&#8217;s are sample and when you type an eBay, it &#8216; Ll pull up the basic overview. So this gives you the trend of their daily budget, which is nice to see you get some other stats here.</p>
<p>There took clicks and add position and average cost per click which their approximating, of course, all the six million keywords. So this is really awesome. Now these tabs, at the top start to break things down in a little bit more detail.</p>
<p>So if you want to look at their specific ads, you click this and, of course, you see, they add that they ran on a particular keyword and the cool thing about this. Is it does a little ROI calculation? They&#8217;ve, got a little algorithm to calculate what they think would be the most profitable ads.</p>
<p>So things are sorted by ROI automatically, which is nice. It&#8217;s. Actually SemiAccurate. I mean it&#8217;s. It&#8217;s. A good i guess barometer to use in in terms of which keywords and ads are profitable for this particular domain name but anyway, so you get ROI.</p>
<p>If there&#8217;s, an affiliate thing in there are not keywords, of course, volume and cost per click, and &#8211; and this is a really powerful one &#8211; it&#8217;s days scene so out of the 944 days that they were tracking 693 of them Found this particular ad for that keyword or found this particular ad, so it&#8217;s really powerful.</p>
<p>To be able to see this, you can even sort by that column, of course, and you can determine you know how long an ad has been running. Obviously, if they&#8217;ve been paying for the ad for a significant number of days, the ad is probably profitable.</p>
<p>Therefore, if you replicate or nearly replicate the ad, you should be profitable as well, at least in the long run. Now you have to remember just specifically copying a campaign. Doesn&#8217;t ensure your success.</p>
<p>There are a lot of factors, especially with like Adwords and their quality score, and things like that that determine if you&#8217;re, going to be profitable with your ad. There are a whole host of factors, but all things being equal.</p>
<p>This is a fantastic way to gauge or get a jump on, which keywords and ads are going to before you. So anyway, click on the adds and then, of course, the keywords, the cool thing about these things, as you can export export.</p>
<p>This entire thing, which is awesome so you get you, can literally export directly Google AdWords editor files and the Bing files in etc. So you can export and literally take them and import that file right into your account.</p>
<p>Your PPC account and your live. That quick and, of course you can just export via standard CSV an excel sheet such and then they have organic keywords to and then of course, competitors which is kind of cool.</p>
<p>Now let&#8217;s, go back to the overview thing to speak, a little bit about competitors, real, quick, something else I use so once we start to pin down a really good campaign with the keywords in the ads that we think are working for a Particular domain, then we start to look at the competitors because obviously relevant competitors are going to have different keywords and different ads.</p>
<p>So you can start to sort of one rock turns over another. If you will, you can start to sort of go down this path of discovering more ads, more keywords that should be profitable for you now. Another way we utilize this, which is pretty cool, don&#8217;t, forget about expanding horizontally or wide instead of deep.</p>
<p>What i mean by wide is: let&#8217;s. Say you&#8217;re. Doing you&#8217;re, doing a campaign on let&#8217;s, say: weight loss. Okay. Obviously there are going to be a lot of well. Let&#8217;s. Just do a keyword here and i&#8217;ll. Show you an example.</p>
<p>This I&#8217;m tying this portion back to another post that I did on demographic research, so check that out the demographic research and but basically are excuse me, the demographic research post. But basically, if you&#8217;re going to do a weight loss program, you have the option of going deep, which is looking specifically at weight, loss terms and weight loss sites, and things like that, which is great, obviously super targeted.</p>
<p>But also I really like to get into the the width of a campaign which is okay based on the demographic. What other sites would I be able to sites or keywords? Would I be able to advertise with that would be relevant, so I try to stay with really big niches, where I can be demographically relevant and that&#8217;s, good enough, which allows me to really get into other keywords that no one else is really Bidding on or the competition is much lower, specifically for a weight loss program right.</p>
<p>So, if you think about it, this way, like think about a regular TV ad right, you see TV ads for a lot of different things that hopefully are demographically relevant. I mean that&#8217;s, the point, but aren&#8217;t going to be relevant to every single individual there and a lot of times, even just a small percentage.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s, going to be relevant, for I mean think about you&#8217;ve, probably seen attorney ads that are doing. You know these these mass lawsuits against pharmaceutical companies right. So if you&#8217;ve ever taken, etc, you know insert drug here, call us well how many people do you think they&#8217;re actually hitting it.</p>
<p>Obviously it&#8217;s. It&#8217;s, a simple numbers game. You&#8217;re. Looking at the demographic you&#8217;re, saying, okay of this demographic, you know, maybe four percent are relevant if we get X number of conversions from that four percent, we are profitable with our ad that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Fine, so demographically, relevant niches or niches, where it&#8217;s, easy to be demographically, relevant on a large scale or where I like to play, because that&#8217;s, where you can make the most money that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Where you have the most leeway to be wide with your campaigns and you&#8217;re, not really competing in a very narrow, specific market, so things like weight, loss and and biz op, and you know all those different things, skin care, etc.</p>
<p>So bottom line is the reason I wanted to show you this was you can start to expand widthwise based on demographics, like I spoke about in the other and the other tutorial, so let&#8217;s say we&#8217;re, doing weight loss and Let&#8217;s say we know one of the big weight loss.</p>
<p>Demographics is women aged 32. You know 45 whatever it is, that&#8217;s. What we found during our research, based on the article or the post, that I did earlier, so we we&#8217;ve, got that now. What we like to do during that demographic research is pull a lot of domains and relevant sites that this demographic visits, so we might say or and keywords as well of course, so they might be typing in keywords of you &#8211; know: weight loss and losing weight, but That 30 to 45 year old woman is also typing in gucci purse.</p>
<p>Right so another way to expand wide definitely is to pull out your demographically, relevant domains and pull keywords for them as well. So don&#8217;t, just pull relevant keywords for weight loss, pull relevant demographically, relevant keywords that you found during doing your demographic research so again utilizing the spy tools it&#8217;s kind of a a deep and wide method.</p>
<p>So once you choose a key term, a or a domain name that you want to replicate, you of course export all the ads that look like they&#8217;re profitable in all the keywords, and then you go back to your demographic research and go okay.</p>
<p>What other keywords are relevant here and then you type those into your keyword, spy tool and you pull relevant ads from the spy tool based on the wide demographic that you&#8217;re, not hitting. I hope that makes that makes sense, so you have deep, which is very, very specific, and then you have wide, which is specific to a demographic I mean you don&#8217;t want to just be so wide that it&#8217;s, not relevant, But being wide enough to where you can start to lose competitors as good there&#8217;s, a lot of people, for example, bidding on Gucci purse, probably are not doing offers for weight loss.</p>
<p>While I probably just made a fool of myself, there probably are, but you get the point you will be able to find. You know side niches there which are demographically relevant, but no one else is advertising that specific thing now, with that being said, do you have quality score issues because it&#8217;s, not specifically relevant? Well, yes, you can, but if it&#8217;s, a demographically, relevant ad and it&#8217;s, a really good ad, you&#8217;re, going to have a high click-through rate which helps your quality score.</p>
<p>Okay, and you&#8217;re. Going to be paying, hopefully a lot less when you go so wide, so a little higher quality score is okay. It helps offset the whole deal so anyway. Just wanted to make that point clear and tie these two posts together.</p>
<p>You know you want to do your demographic research deep, but you also want to use or excuse me. You want to do your keyword and domain research on the spy tools deep, but you also want to do them wide based upon the demographic research that you&#8217;ve done previously, okay, so hopefully that was a little more clear that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>A few different topics there and it mixed together. So hopefully I was almost clear in my language, but so this is keyword, spy, that&#8217;s, how it works very cool tool, spyfu same same basic thing: why do I use both of them again? One particular product has more or less relevance in certain areas might have a domain name available for one and then the other might have a lot of keywords for one and not the other, etc, etc.</p>
<p>So we use them both. I think spy foods like 80 or 90 bucks a month, the psoas keyword spy, a drop in the bucket. If you&#8217;re serious about making money online and again you have money back guarantees and trials and those types of things.</p>
<p>So those are the paperclip tools that I utilize keywords buying spy food. Let&#8217;s, move on to a broader competitive intelligence tool, which does a whole lot of things and that&#8217;s. What runs where? What runs where calm this thing? Does everything so it&#8217;s more expensive? I think it&#8217;s like it&#8217;s like 220 bucks a month or so again, don&#8217;t.</p>
<p>Let the price scare you you don&#8217;t have to have these tools. These are just nice things to have when you&#8217;re making money. But again, if you can&#8217;t make that kind of money back with the amount of intelligence that this gathers for you, then you&#8217;re, just not taking action.</p>
<p>So what runs rare is awesome because it not only does well here we can click on features it. Not only does you know PPC ads, but bent the if you do any display buys at all which is highly recommended at you know at some point in your career.</p>
<p>This does awesome competitive intelligence for banners. It does texts you can search by here. You can see advertiser by the placement. It gives you all kinds of really cool stuff. It&#8217;s international. So if you do any, you know non-us campaigns again.</p>
<p>Another highly recommended thing. Then it &#8216; S got all that data. They&#8217;re, really really powerful tool and it&#8217;s got so many features. I don&#8217;t have time to go through them. It&#8217;s awesome. So what runs? Where is really good? Another tool, similar tool, add beat another awesome tool.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s. We have this one as well, so we have all four of keywords by spyfu. What runs where and add beat the one I utilize most often is probably what runs where now. I have a team that does that sets the campaign&#8217;s up for me in and does a lot of the research.</p>

<p>com is usually 49 a month. Just for youtube, while vidtao is completely free and another thing to keep in mind, is i found that sometimes vidtal works better and sometimes power. Ad spy works better, so i would actually encourage getting both, but let&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Do the side by side comparison. First and then we&#8217;ll uh, we&#8217;ll declare a winner so guys the four advertisers we&#8217;re gonna test with are organifi, onewheel, kevin david and the sales mentor. So we got a mix of e-commerce as well as info, so let&#8217;s check out organifi right, so we&#8217;re going to go in here and this is the power add supply.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re, going to check there first and we&#8217;re, going to go by search by advertiser put in organifi. Oh so it looks like they&#8217;re, multiple organifi channels, so it looks like there&#8217;s. Organifi channel organifi pure so that&#8217;s, something that&#8217;s interesting, is that vid uh, basically power ad spy, actually pulls different advertisers.</p>
<p>So i think there was one we found and then i think fitlife tv is the other one. I&#8217;ve, seen: oh there we go fitlife tv, so here we go so we had one that we found from organifi life channel and now we have um this one from fitlife tv.</p>
<p>So there&#8217;s, one two, three, four, five, six, seven! Oh, i think there&#8217;s still more um wait. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. That&#8217;s. 18. Videos. Oh wait! There&#8217;s still more 19, 20 21 jesus, 22, 23, 24, 25, okay, 26, 27, 28, 29, jeez.</p>
<p>I think yeah, okay, there&#8217;s. A lot there&#8217;s a lot of ads. Now let&#8217;s check on here and see what we can find. I think we have to check by organifi organifi. Okay, there we go all right. Okay, so organifi also does really well on here um.</p>
<p>So there&#8217;s. It&#8217;s, picking up videos from organifi as well as fit live tv uh. Let&#8217;s. Just look at fitlife tv and see how that does so. We &#8216; Ve got one two three four, five, six, seven, eight nine 12.</p>
<p>15. 18. 20.. So this one, i think, actually wins out because um, i think we&#8217;re like 30 to 40 in here, and it&#8217;s still scrolling. So the first one for organifi, fitlife tv events &#8211; i mean um for the first one power &#8211; adds five wins out all right.</p>
<p>So the next one we&#8217;re gonna look at is one wheel. So i&#8217;ll. Put that in here and search all right, so here&#8217;s, one wheel, so i&#8217;m gonna keep scrolling all right. I think that&#8217;s, all we got so 1. 2. 3. 6.</p>
<p>9. 12. 15. 17. 19.. So we got 19 here, let&#8217;s check out here. Okay, so you &#8216; Ve got one two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine got it so looks like power power at spivens in this case as well and kevin david.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s check out kevin david, so there we go one two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten! Okay! We got more all right, so we got a lot here. I don&#8217;t even know. I think they&#8217;re, pulling up pretty much every kevin david ad ever, which is pretty cool, but you can see there are a lot of ads that didn&#8217;t get that many views, but then there are others that did so.</p>
<p>This is a very comprehensive tool. Now let&#8217;s, look at vidtal all right, vidtao as well. Okay, i&#8217;ll call this one: a tie um both with tau and um powerade spy picked up plenty of the videos from kevin david.</p>
<p>The one difference is, it seems like vidtal&#8217;s better at picking up videos that have more views, while uh powered spy just seems to be able to do like all the videos which is really awesome, because you can really see what ads didn&#8217;t work that well for them, but yeah.</p>
<p>This is cool um. Both of these tools are great, i would probably say, with power ads by still vince out a bit more um in the kevin david. It seems like this might be like 90 plus, while this might be like 30, so great tools, both of them.</p>
<p>Now let&#8217;s, try the sales mentor, so the sales mentor is also something i&#8217;ve been seeing. They&#8217;ve, been killing the info info game lately with their ads. So let&#8217;s, see how they&#8217;re doing all right. Let&#8217;s, see 6.</p>
<p>9. 12. 15. 18. 21. 24. You can see that these ads didn&#8217;t, do that. Well, right, like this, one only got 2.9k um. You can kind of see like the ads that were made for youtube actually perform way better, so that i think there&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Like 20, something 6, 9. 12. 15. 18. 21. 24. 27. So we got 27 on here. Let&#8217;s. Look on here all right, one, two, three! Four: five! Six, nine eleven all right! So we got 11 or so i&#8217;ll check on the channel to see if we can find more yeah, so power, ad spy wins out and here as well so yeah.</p>
<p>Basically, if you&#8217;re, looking for a more comprehensive solution, power spy seems to win, but it is expensive. It&#8217;s 50 a month. Vidtal, on the other hand, is completely free and it gives you the best performing videos.</p>
<p>So the videos that have the most views show up on vidtal power. Ad spy is just a little bit more comprehensive. So at our agency we use both um vittel. Personally, i like the a uh, the ui a bit more, but power ad spy definitely is more comprehensive.</p>
<p>So if you&#8217;re really trying to dig deep in to see what work didn&#8217;t work for another client. We can go in here now. The cool thing about power ad spy is all the filters it&#8217;s really cool. How many filters they have in here.</p>
<p>You can filter by language which is really cool. So you can. You know if we run a portuguese language offer, so we can basically look for ads in that offer in that language uh by country by call to action.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m, not sure what the call to action is here um and then there&#8217;s like marketing platforms. So you can. You can just look for ads that go to shopify stores. You can look for ads that go to clickbank offers and you can look at ads that go to click funnels landing pages or leadpages landing pages.</p>
<p>So if you&#8217;re looking for info, you can filter by click funnels and get all the best in full offers. If you&#8217;re looking for best ecommerce offers, you can look at one of these um. This is really really a powerful tool.</p>
<p>Now vidtal. As i said, it&#8217;s fast, it&#8217;s, lightweight it&#8217;s, got a nice ui and it&#8217;s, easy to use um, but it definitely doesn&#8217;t have the power of power at spy, Which makes sense, because powered spy is a paid tool like vidtal.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re, just doing it for free for you guys so uh yeah. So my suggestion is get both um. If you can afford it power ads by. If you&#8217;re on a budget with house great as well and yeah, so that basically makes sense in terms of the comparison between the two uh.</p>
<p>Oh, the one thing i like about um about vidtal is, if i actually, if you click on one of these, you actually have an estimate for ad spin now. This is obviously based on a certain cost per view, but that&#8217;s, really cool that, where you can kind of estimate how much they&#8217;re spending on ads, so that&#8217;s.</p>

<p>First, you want to go into plugins. If you don&#8217;t already, have it installed go to install if you don&#8217;t already, have it installed, go to a new? Go ahead and search and just SEO, it should be one of the first ones here it is 5 million active installations, it&#8217;s very popular and by the way guys, you do not need the pro version.</p>
<p>The free version offers just what you need. Ok, there&#8217;s, no need to upgrade. It is not worth it. If you get everything that you need in the free version, go ahead and install now and activate, I already have it activated and once you have that go down over here to SCO and you&#8217;re gonna want to go ahead and go into General, so first thing to be aware of is that just SEO makes it very easy to get your XML sitemap to be able to submit it on Google search console for faster indexing, so XML sitemap is basically just a file of all the web pages.</p>
<p>On your actual website and by having an XML sitemap, it makes it very easy for Google to crawl your pages and your website and get it indexed very quickly on their search engine. So you can go ahead and copy either.</p>
<p>One of these go over to your Google search console, go to sitemaps and just copy and paste it and go to submit. As you can see, I&#8217;ve submitted in the past and it&#8217;s very easy and it really speeds up the indexing process.</p>
<p>So that&#8217;s. One thing that your SEO does very well and it&#8217;s. Very simple, then you have my master tool here. You can get your verification code for being Yandex or bay-do and submitted through it here, and that&#8217;s, pretty much it for that go ahead and go over search appearance.</p>
<p>These are some important things that you want to take account for. First of all, choose your title. Separator I just like to go with this one. Nice and simple makes it real, easy and simple two separate words so and then with over here, when this is knowledge graph in schema, I would go ahead and leave this blank, because this organization and purse schema is really not that great.</p>
<p>I use another plugin for my schema, so do not worry about this. Okay, it&#8217;s, not important. Just go ahead and leave it blank and we&#8217;re gonna go. Then you&#8217;re gonna want to go ahead and go over to Texan Ami&#8217;s, and for your category pages you want to present no okay, you don&#8217;t want these to show up in search results unless you Actually are using your categories, for I would say, for post purposes.</p>
<p>Maybe you have different categories that you put your blogs into, but if you don&#8217;t go ahead and present no. For that and for your tags, you want to go ahead and press and no for your tags. Okay, most people do now want their tags showing up on search results.</p>
<p>Okay, so just go ahead and press no post format make sure you go ahead and disable this. Okay, category URLs just keep it as removed and then go over to our choice. You want to go ahead and disable your author archives and your date archives.</p>
<p>Okay, make sure you disable both of these special pages. You can leave that alone breadcrumbs. You want to make sure your breadcrumbs are enabled because it&#8217;s very good for the user experience. Okay, make sure you leave that as it is, and you can leave all this as it is as well content types, okay, post, your post and search results.</p>
<p>Yes, we can leave that as it is. That looks pretty good, so that&#8217;s, pretty much. It guys, like I said these other things, aren&#8217;t really that important. You can see your organization at your social profiles that&#8217;s, really just it guys site map search parents make sure you get those pages disabled.</p>
<p>So they don&#8217;t get indexed, and here is the best part of your SEO and why many people love it, including myself. It makes you real easy to change your meta title and your meta description so go to any page.</p>
<p>Then we can go over to edit all right guys. Now we&#8217;re on my home page on the back end and if we scroll down you can see where it says the Yoast SEO and right here it gives you a focused keyword where you can type in your focus keyword and it will.</p>
<p>It will give you a green, yellow or red light, depending on how good you optimize this, but it&#8217;s, really not important. It&#8217;s. Really, just a bunch of you, don&#8217;t really need to follow the advice that Yoast SEO gives you.</p>
<p>Okay, like all of this, as long as you have as long as you have the basics down, you know, including your keywords and the right spots. Optimizing for click-through rate optimizing for the user, you&#8217;re gonna be good to go and then to actually edit this you can go to edit snippet, and here you can change the title: the slug and the Meta Description.</p>
<p>Okay, make sure you include your targeted keywords on here and just optimize them for a click-through rate. Okay, you want people clicking on your listing, rather than your competition, alright, guys that pretty much sums it up for the this mini tutorial.</p>

<p>Your landing page is the single most important part of your sales funnel. If you double your conversion rate, you double your leads and yes, double your business. So, here are my 6 copy components of a landing page that converts.</p>
<p>Hey guys, Alex here. This video is a long time coming, some of you have been requesting for me to do this one for a while. Well, I heard you loud and clear. This week, I’m revealing the 6 key components that I include in every single landing page that I write to convert visitors into leads like crazy.</p>
<p>These components are especially relevant to what today’s customers demand — high value, more transparency, and zero fluff. So whether you’re a freelance writer working with clients, or writing your own copy, a different landing page should be used for every single one of your marketing campaigns and traffic sources.</p>
<p>.. It’s how you build your list, which is the most valuable asset you can have as an online entrepreneur. The purpose of your landing page is to give your visitors something for free that demonstrates the quality of what your business offers in exchange for their information.</p>
<p>Now this is typically a user’s email address, which you can collect through a lead-capture form, but you might also be asking for their phone number or permission to contact them over Facebook Messenger.</p>
<p>Whatever your desired outcome, the goal is to create a list of engaged subscribers, nurture a high-value relationship and convert the right prospects into customers through your marketing. Now it’s no secret that businesses capture leads at a higher rate by sending prospects to highly-targeted and relevant landing pages, rather than to simply their own home page.</p>
<p>Now those are two very, very different marketing tools. A homepage is what I like to call your “PR Site”. Unlike landing pages and sales pages, a homepage isn’t primarily used for conversion. Instead, it features your brand, tells your story, and builds trust and credibility.</p>
<p>This is how people learn more about you and your business, which is great for cold organic traffic. Landing pages, on the other hand, have one single purpose — to build your list around a singular benefit or solution.</p>
<p>They are used for conversions, and are built for direct traffic, either paid or endorsed affiliate traffic, to capture a visitor’s information. While home pages are incredibly important to your brand and business, this is not what this video is about.</p>

<p>Alright, so let’s learn how to write a landing page, shall we? These are my six must-have copy components for a landing page that converts. Okay, so component number one. A free high-value promise Give what you would want to receive.</p>
<p>It really is that simple! Your landing page gives your brand a one-shot opportunity to demonstrate the value of your product or service&#8230; and earn your prospect’s trust from day 1. The copy needs to convey a clear and singular benefit that your visitor can expect after consuming whatever free content you’re giving away – and it needs to be good but not hypey or unbelievable.</p>
<p>Listen, your audience is getting more and more savvy. What used to seem like a no-brainer, sharing their email address has now become a heavily-weighted decision. They know why you want it and what you plan to do with it.</p>
<p>There is a TON of valuable content available for free out there, which means your leads are expecting some good stuff if they are willing to give you their email address. The number one question on everyone’s mind is “What is in it for me?” So, make it worth their while and offer them something of HIGH value.</p>
<p>And guys… high-value means something your prospects would actually consider spending money on, not some arbitrary price tag value that you scratch out with the word free. And lastly, be sure to DELIVER on your promise immediately.</p>
<p>Make sure whatever you’re providing in exchange for an email address offers insanely great value up front. Even though what you’re offering is free, it should absolutely deliver results. In fact, you should be giving away your BEST stuff for free.</p>
<p>It’s how you turn your leads into raving fans and lifelong customers. It’s the law of reciprocity at its finest. Okay, so component number two, a strong reason why. Even when you’re offering your visitors something for free, you still need to address that inner critic.</p>
<p>They want to know why you’re giving it away and why they should take action right now. So once you build up the value of what you’re offering, the next question you want to answer in your prospects minds in “Ok, if this is so valuable, why are you giving it away for free?” And the simple answer is usually the best one.</p>
<p>“I want you to experience my work, because I know once you do, you’ll be hooked and you might even buy something from me”&#8230; Or, “the feedback I receive about this free gift is so positive that I wanted as many people as possible to be able to get these results.</p>
<p>Because I know once you do, you’ll stick with me for life”&#8230; Justifying your offer is a key component in online marketing that is so often overlooked. Including an authentic reason for a discount or freebie helps to build trust and rapport with your audience.</p>
<p>Then, you can follow up with the reason they need to act right now. This is where you can play with good ol’ scarcity. Scarcity is one of the most effective techniques for increasing your conversions.</p>
<p>For example, maybe your giveaway is only available for a limited time or while it’s in stock. Or you could offer a bonus gift or upgrade to the first 100 leads that opt in. If you’re offering a product or service as part of a real-time campaign, you could weave in some time scarcity into your copy with something like “this offer is only available for the next three days”.</p>
<p>Whatever it is – include an authentic reason why you’re limiting the offer. And the first rule of using scarcity is to make sure it’s true. Scarcity is a powerful way to persuade, but it’s a technique that has been around for a really long time, which means customers are kind of jaded to anything that smells phoney.</p>
<p>The last thing you want to do is to lose your audience’s trust and make them feel betrayed by your false sense of urgency! So, if you are writing a completely evergreen landing page where there is no scarcity, don’t make it up.</p>
<p>Rely on one of the other powerful copy components… like this one&#8230; Authentic social proof. I do this, you do this, everyone does this — we rely on social cues from others on what to think, feel, and do in a lot of situations.</p>
<p>And not just anyone, but the people and sources that we relate to or who we feel are similar to us in some way. Social proof allays any fears or doubts your visitors have about committing to your offer, and builds authority for your brand.</p>
<p>It’s also an authentic way to get your prospects to get to know you. Because it’s so much better to have other people toot your own horn, then say how great you are yourself. Landing pages are one of your very first touch points you have with your prospects.</p>
<p>So, having social proof allows them establish a positive association with you and your brand, which increases the chances of them coming back — even if they don’t opt in that moment. So be sure to show your visitors how others have benefited from your product, service or content.</p>
<p>Gather up your best user testimonials and feature them on your landing page with permission of course. Another way to use social proof is to showcase the size of your social following, feature recent comments from your followers, or include screenshots of positive reviews that have slid into your DMs.</p>
<p>Like this one, or that one or this one. Thanks guys, right back atchya! Also, if you’ve received any press coverage, you can include an “As Seen On” logo panel or screenshots which you can link directly to an article or story.</p>
<p>Be sure to communicate social proof throughout your entire landing page, and especially right before you present the offer or call to action. And remember — use only real social proof! Stay classy, guys.</p>
<p>Okay, component number four, trust factors I have seen many landing pages that put so much focus on the design that they forget to build trust with their visitor first. So write your copy, then design a landing page to support your copy and strategically work in social proof and trust factors.</p>
<p>Some of these factors include a privacy promise on your opt-in form, a clear statement on how you’ll use your prospect’s email address and what they can expect to receive from you, and a reminder that they’re can unsubscribe or cancel at any time.</p>
<p>And, add in anything you can to let your visitors know that you’ve taken the measures to secure your landing page and that it’s completely safe for them to visit! Like using a secure domain or adding third-party trust seal to your site, such as McAfee Secure and Trusted Site.</p>
<p>Okay component number five, a crystal clear CTA. Studies have shown that you only have between 5-10 seconds to convince your visitors to stay on your page before they bounce. So it is absolutely critical that you make it clear what your offer is and how they can get it in the simplest possible way.</p>
<p>Your call to action needs to be front and center, leaving no room for confusion on where your prospect should click next. So keep your CTAs easy to spot and use. And if your landing page features a quiz or some other form of multi-step interaction — break that process into smaller steps.</p>
<p>According to Robert Cialdini in his book Influence, having your leads make a series of micro-commitments will increase their likelihood of conversion based on the principle of Commitment and Consistency.</p>
<p>So, for example, rather than have your optin form directly on the site, try having a simple button with a clear CTA. Clicking that button will be your prospects first micro-commitment. The resulting pop-up will then either ask for an optin, or take them to the first question in a quiz with each step serving as yet another micro-commitment, until ultimately asking for the email address.</p>
<p>Now, I encourage you to look for other unique ways you can employ the principle of Commitment and Consistency in your marketing. And remember, the more clicks they make, the more likely they are to optin and buy.</p>

<p>So I’ll be sure to link to that at the end of this video. And moving onto the last component, brand consistency. This is one of the biggest blindspots in marketing and you’d be amazed by how many copywriters and businesses fail to do this! Brand consistency is critical to locking down a prospect long term.</p>
<p>The market is growing more and more cautious and intolerant of any inconsistencies in the promises you make and the languaging you use. And it happens a lot, especially when there isn’t a clear brand voice communicated between the team members who are in charge of your different marketing channels and campaigns.</p>
<p>If there’s a disconnect between what your ad, or email, or content piece promises and what your landing page delivers — you might as well have a broken website because they are Xing out immediately.</p>
<p>And worst of all, you’ll lose any chance of converting that visitor into a customer. There must be congruence and overlap in messaging across all you marketing touch points leading up to your landing page and the promise you then deliver.</p>
<p>And the same rule applies to the rest of your pages, your social media accounts and your customer service. So make sure your brand has a distinct and impactful voice that can be consistently communicated across the board.</p>
<p>Alright, there you have it guys. The 6 components of a landing page that converts. Now, I know that may seem like a lot for short landing page &#8211; but keep in mind, that many of these components can be checked off the list with just a few short words.</p>
<p>So like any copy, it’s important to be concise and 100% clear on WHAT you offer. Like the famous Albert Einstein once said, if you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough. And if you don’t understand it, your audience won’t understand it.</p>

<p>What&#8217;s up? Everyone welcome to the Surfside PPC youtube channel. Today, I&#8217;m gonna be going over six landing page design tips to help you improve your conversion rates, so your landing page is going to be really important to the success of your PPC advertising campaign and really any campaign where you&#8217;re trying to drive new leads new sales and new customers, so these are gonna, be some simple design tips.</p>
<p>You can follow number one very simple focus on the headline and the subheading first. That is only what people are gonna see. First, when they do go to your landing page, so you want to make sure the headline captures their attention and you want to make sure you can promote your offer really easily and quickly to people now.</p>
<p>A major bonus here is, if you can get your headline to actually match the search term, that people are typing in. So if someone types in a specific search term, they click on your advertisement. Creating that seamless experience from the search to the advertisement, to the landing page and specifically to that headline to map the actual keyword that people are searching.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s very hard to do because it takes a lot of time to create that many landing pages. But if you can do it for some of your top keywords, it&#8217;s. Gon na help you drive more conversions at a lower cost.</p>
<p>Now let&#8217;s. Just look at a quick example here. So here&#8217;s, the landing page we&#8217;re gonna be building for this, and you can see here. I just have a fake company Surfside social, so let&#8217;s just say. For example, I have my own social media tool that I&#8217;m, trying to drive people to so they sign up.</p>
<p>So what you want to do is you want to get people to your landing page, and you can see here. My headline grow your social following, so I&#8217;ll. Go with a quick benefit, go with something that&#8217;s gonna quickly.</p>
<p>Describe the product or service or benefit that you&#8217;re really offering to people when they do visit your landing page whatever you want them to sign up for and then my subheading here is top rated social media scheduling, monitoring an analytics tool.</p>
<p>So people know exactly what they&#8217;re gonna get and the main benefit they&#8217;re. Getting from this is to grow their social following when they sign up for Surfside social. So that brings us to number two and number two is to make the action you want visitors to take as clear as possible.</p>
<p>You want your offer to be very obvious and you want to make the call-to-action stand out on the page. So for this one grow, your social audience top rated social media is scheduling, monitoring an analytics tool and you can see our call to action to start your free trial.</p>
<p>So you want to make sure you have a call to action that&#8217;s, bold. On the page, so people know exactly what action you want them to take when they do busy your landing page. This is vital because you want people to sign up for your service.</p>
<p>You want people to learn more about your products, so whatever it is number two. You want to make sure that the action you want visitors to take is very clear and your call to action on the page stands out.</p>
<p>Next is gonna be number three and number three is to sell the benefits and provide proof. So, regardless of what it is you&#8217;re selling, if it&#8217;s a product, if it&#8217;s a service, you want to make sure that you&#8217;re, showing some of these positive reviews and testimonials.</p>
<p>So people visit your page and they see that you have other happy customers. You have other people using your software or your tool or whatever it is. You&#8217;re trying to promote so here&#8217;s, our example here.</p>
<p>So at the top. We have grow your social audience, top rated social media scheduling, monitoring, analytics tool. We have your enter your email to start your free trial. Now, if this doesn&#8217;t capture people right away and a lot of times it doesn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>People want to learn more before they actually give you their email and start their free trial. Do some quick benefits? You can use images to show some of these benefits, and then you also want to use testimonials and customer reviews.</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s, just a sample 5-star customer review easy to use in great features so just make sure people understand that if they do sign up or they purchase from you &#8211; that there are gonna be some benefits and they can easily see what It is so why Surfside social try to connect with people and understand some of the problems that they&#8217;re facing when they&#8217;re.</p>
<p>Looking for a social media, marketing tool or whatever it is that you&#8217;re. Trying to target them with affordable pricing connect, all social networks engage your audience analytics dashboard. So there&#8217;s, a lot of things that people can get hung up on so use the benefits to make sure that you&#8217;re answering any of the questions that they might have when they do sign up for your software.</p>
<p>So that&#8217;s gonna be number three is to make sure you&#8217;re, showing some of these benefits and provide proof using customer reviews and it&#8217;s. The best, if you have a large number of customer reviews, think about Amazon anytime.</p>
<p>Someone looks at products on Amazon a lot of times what people are gonna purchase are the top rated products, so that&#8217;s. Gon na be number three. Okay. Next is gonna be number four and number four is going to be to use high quality images and videos.</p>
<p>So you want to use these to describe your products and services. So if it&#8217;s a product page and you can use videos to show the different angles of your product or people using your product, think about basketball, sneakers, for example, you can show the front the back the side of the shoes people can get A full 360-degree view of the basketball shoe and you can also show basketball players wearing those shoes, as they are on the court.</p>
<p>Dribbling, a basketball and maybe dunking or something along those lines. Using images and using videos can quickly provide information and it&#8217;s just another great way to sell your products and services to potential customers.</p>
<p>So essentially, what I would do in this case is how it works. You have a video here. People can watch a one to two minute, video of how the social media marketing tool works, and then the other thing you can do is use some of the images from your social media, marketing tool, use images and use videos to make sure people understand front back Side to side everything about your product, everything about your service, so, for example, one of the things that I can do is show and connect all social networks.</p>
<p>I can show all the different social networks that people connect to this social media marketing tool. I can say: connect to your Twitter account connect to your Facebook account connect to your LinkedIn account connect to Instagram connect to Pinterest.</p>
<p>So I can say this is an all-in-one social media marketing tool. You can connect every single social network you have so you can use images to show people how they can easily connect all their social networks and start scheduling and publishing some of these social media posts directly to their social media accounts.</p>
<p>So, the more that you can show people using visual images and using videos the better it&#8217;s gonna help to sell your products and services and that&#8217;s. Ultimately, your goal with a landing page is to have a call to action up at the top and make sure that your call to action is very clear to people and then show all the benefits of why people should take advantage of whatever your call to action Is now number five is gonna, be a quick and simple one, one that I&#8217;m gonna go over very quickly, but you want to make sure that your desktop and mobile designs are responsive so that it looks exactly the same.</p>
<p>No matter. The device that people are using when they do access your landing page. So if someone&#8217;s on a mobile device, you&#8217;re. Looking up social media scheduling software, they might end up converting on their desktop device later, but you want to make sure that a device does not ruin your conversion rate.</p>
<p>If you find you have a really low conversion rate for your mobile design, then you probably want to create a new design that looks as good as possible on mobile, because you don&#8217;t want a device to drag down your conversion rate and increase Your cost per conversion, so essentially, what you want to do is open your landing page on a desktop device, open it on a mobile device and make sure that, no matter what device you&#8217;re using no mad.</p>
<p>What browser you&#8217;re using that people can easily see the benefits of your products and services and easily sign up for or purchase from you directly, so that both your designs are exactly the same, because you don&#8217;t want one device To drag down your conversion rate, it&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Only gonna hurt your overall costs over time and it&#8217;s. Just gonna end up hurting your business revenue so that&#8217;s. Gon na be number five is to make sure your designs are completely responsive and do a full review on every single device that you have and using different browsers as well, because sometimes your landing page might look different in Google Chrome than it does on Safari.</p>
<p>Now, last but not least, make sure you review competitor landing pages. So this is a great design tip because you might have your landing page complete and you might be out of ideas and you can learn a lot from looking at other landing page designs.</p>
<p>So I pulled up other landing pages related to social media marketing tools. So if we come back to my final design over here, it would look something like this. Obviously, you&#8217;d, want more spacing there.</p>
<p>This is kind of a compacted version, but what I would want on my final design is a headline at the top, so some type of benefit some type of selling point and then the subheading exactly what people are gonna get.</p>
<p>I have my call to action here. You don&#8217;t have to do the email. If I do start your free trial, you can do something where it puts a form up in front of people&#8217;s face, and then you can have them fill out that form.</p>
<p>But I would want to have some videos, some images showing how it works, some of the benefits that people can take advantage of, and then what we can do is look at some of these other examples. So let&#8217;s come over here and let&#8217;s just say I come into Google.</p>
<p>I type in social media scheduling tool. You&#8217;re gonna see advertisements at the top, so all you need to do is click on some of your competitor advertisements, so we&#8217;re gonna look through some examples here.</p>
<p>The first one is from lumely comm and you can see here so build a successful brand with your team and to your email get started start your 15-day. Free trial enter your email free 15 day trial integrated with so you can see all the social media networks.</p>
<p>You can connect to. They have some images over here showing responsive design. They even have an Apple watch over here. So you know that your design, it can look good on any single device. Keep coming down.</p>

<p>What some awesome customers have to say so you can see they have a lot of these design elements within their landing page. So let&#8217;s. Look at the next one. <p>So again, you&#8217;re. Looking at some of these little selling points here, where people might say, I don&#8217;t want to create an account cuz. I don&#8217;t, my credit card in so these are just little things that people can read and say.</p>
<p>Okay, I&#8217;ll, create the account for now, because I don&#8217;t have to actually upload my credit card information. Yet keep scrolling down this one has a lot more text to it and you can see they have a call to action with every little section on their website.</p>
<p>So if we keep scrolling down, you&#8217;re gonna start, seeing some of the same things here so create a beautiful Instagram feed join over 2 million of the world&#8217;s, top brands agencies and influencers. So again they&#8217;re, showing proof here and they have a lot of their selling points.</p>
<p>If you do sign up for later calm. So let&#8217;s. Look at a couple more! So the next one is HootSuite, so you can see they use start your free 30-day trial as their call to action. Start your free trial connect with multiple social networks.</p>
<p>So we keep scrolling down how it saves you time. So they&#8217;re listing. Some of the benefits here, HootSuite at a glance again, some of the benefits, some of the things you can take advantage of with their platform over 18 million users, so showing some proof.</p>
<p>So you can see a lot of these landing pages. Have the same type of elements, the designs are just a little bit different, different colors different call to action. So, last but not least, what we&#8217;ll look at is sprout social calm, social media tools for business, sprout social media tools make it easy to bring large, multidisciplinary social teams together.</p>

<p>So again, you&#8217;re gonna find a lot of these same design, elements and themes on all these pages, but those are six different, landing page design tips again. You just want to have a main call to action here list.</p>
<p>The benefits show images, use video to make sure you can sell your products and services and don&#8217;t be afraid to look at some of your competitors landing pages, because if your competitors are consistently running ads to their website &#8211; and you always see them As competitors for your Google Ads account or your Facebook ads or whatever type of advertisements, you&#8217;re running, they&#8217;re, probably seeing conversions, because if they continue to spend their budget, then they&#8217;re, probably driving revenue with that Budget so look at their landing pages and look at some of the different offers that they have some of their different ways of selling their products and services and use those for your own inspiration.</p>

<p>Well that&#8217;s possible. Sure if you&#8217;re selling a product for $100, you&#8217;re not gonna get a 40% conversion rate. But let&#8217;s say you&#8217;re just starting out and collecting leads like name and email address, you can get over 40%.</p>
<p>And even if you&#8217;re selling products you can boost your conversion rates if you follow these exact tips. So tip number one, use tools like Instapage and Click Funnels. The cool part about Click Funnels and Instapage and even Lead Pages is they break down the landing pages in their system that convert to the best.</p>
<p>And they&#8217;re not making this up by saying oh this landing page converts better than this other one cause it looks cooler. They&#8217;re using data, they have so many customers, thousands and thousands if not hundreds of thousands, that they&#8217;re basing it off their existing customer base and their current conversion rates.</p>
<p>So they know all their customers are using this one landing page that&#8217;s converting better than all the other ones out there, that should tell you, hey you should start with this landing page first.</p>
<p>The second tip I have for you is have an amazing unique value proposition. Not a bullshit one like put in your name and email and I&#8217;ll send you a free pdf, or I&#8217;ll send you weekly updates. That value proposition sucks.</p>
<p>It has to be amazing. Such as, with a lot of my offers I give free courses. I give free guides that I&#8217;ve spent $30,000 creating. Now I&#8217;m a crazy person. You don&#8217;t have to go above and beyond like me, but my stuff converts better than most people.</p>
<p>Why? Because I go above and beyond. With your value proposition, it needs to resonate with people, if you&#8217;re not solving a problem that they&#8217;re facing at a really deep problem, they&#8217;re not gonna opt in or buy from you.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re just scratching the surface and you&#8217;re not breaking down why they should opt in or why they should buy your product or service and why it solves this problem they&#8217;ve had forever, they&#8217;re much less likely to buy from you.</p>
<p>So really focus on your copy. Everything that I&#8217;ve tested when it comes to landing pages copy and value proposition is one of the biggest factors that effects the conversion rate. The third tip I have for you is keep it simple silly.</p>
<p>One of my companies was called Kiss Metrics. Why? Because I found that in marketing, everyone tries to over complicate stuff. There&#8217;s no reason for it. Why not keep things super simple? For example, if you have 10 form fields, when you only need two, remove the extra stuff that you don&#8217;t need.</p>
<p>If you have tons of copy and you&#8217;re saying the same stuff over and over again, remove the fluff. Get to the point. Landing pages that are super simple tend to convert better than long ones that go on and on and ramble.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m not saying you should have short landing pages. Instead what I&#8217;m saying is you should get to the point. If you need to have a longer landing page because it helps you answer objections, objections are concerns people have before they opt in or buy from you, then that&#8217;s fine, have a long landing page.</p>
<p>But get to the point and remove the fluff. That&#8217;s called keeping it simple, right. You don&#8217;t want really fluffy long landing pages that go on and on like I am right now with this point, because you&#8217;re gonna lose people.</p>
<p>The fourth tip I have for you is show social proof. There are so many different versions of social proof. They could be testimonials, they could be case studies, it could be results that other people are experiencing, it could even be videos.</p>
<p>I was talking to a buddy Sam Evans, and he has this website called consulting.com, he has over 3,000 video testimonials. That&#8217;s crazy, that&#8217;s a shit ton of social proof. There are so many different variations that you could use.</p>
<p>It depends, based on the type of landing page you have and the business you have. So if you&#8217;re unsure on the best type of social proof, for your landing page, leave a comment below on what you&#8217;re thinking, and I&#8217;ll respond back on if I think that&#8217;s good or if that&#8217;s bad or if you should be doing something else instead.</p>
<p>The fifth tip I have for you is to create a video. Not everyone enjoys reading. Some people love looking at pictures. But a picture isn&#8217;t gonna cause tons more people to convert. You need a video that should explain everything that they&#8217;re gonna get when they opt in, or buy your product, or sign up for your service.</p>
<p>That video should be short and to the point. Under three minutes, ideally under one minute, but worse case under three minutes. It should answer any objections people have before they sign up or buy from you.</p>
<p>And it should describe everything in a logical order. You don&#8217;t wanna be bouncing around and making your video pitch really confusing. And when you do videos, what you&#8217;ll find is, it can sometimes decrease your conversions.</p>
<p>But the quality of the customer that you end up generating is much better and they tend to spend more over the lifetime value. So you have to test video. So follow those tips, you&#8217;re gonna have an amazing landing page that&#8217;s gonna convert better.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re collecting emails you should be over 40%. If you&#8217;re selling a product, depending on how targeted the traffic is, you could be at numbers like three, four, five, and sometimes upwards at 10% depending on the price point.</p>

<p>So you never miss another video. You need to succeed online now. The right landing page strategy can be a huge difference maker in your business, because it can attract the right kinds of customers to the exact right offer for them.</p>
<p>For example, if you&#8217;re, a service business that offers different kinds of services like let&#8217;s, say you&#8217;re a contractor. You may offer bathroom remodels kitchen remodels, so in that case you don&#8217;t want all those people finding you just through your homepage.</p>
<p>What you&#8217;d rather have is people finding you through dedicated landing pages that closely aligned with what they&#8217;re. Looking for, I&#8217;m going to talk about landing pages. This can also refer to a dedicated page.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s, all about just getting an email, opt-in in exchange for a lead, magnet or if your business offers one kind of overarching product or service like if you&#8217;re a plumber or like a recent client in mind, a wedding band, Then you can absolutely apply this to your home page as well.</p>
<p>In any case, there are certain best practices that you should really adhere to. If you want to convert the most number of site visitors into paying customers, or at least to get them as warm leads. If your goal is an opt-in list, so first things first and that&#8217;s, keep it simple by using the rule of one in the rule of one.</p>
<p>You want to think about one message: one offer and one call-to-action per page: most businesses just say way too much on their websites, and your landing pages are definitely no place for that. It&#8217;s. Why we have a landing page strategy at all.</p>
<p>You know to compartmentalize all those different services or products or offerings into their own pages. So for each landing page you&#8217;re planning. You want to focus on one core offer, whether that&#8217;s, a service you provide or a product.</p>
<p>You sell or a lead, magnet and exchange for that email address or even just a special deal, and the message need to be talking all about that one offer not about the history of the company or about the charity work you do on the side.</p>
<p>Just that offer &#8211; and there needs to be one super clear, call-to-action button which provides a clear path of what they need to do next, alright. Next, I want to talk about the five-second rule and I&#8217;m, not talking about eating dirty food off of the floor here.</p>
<p>This has more to do with the fact that people have very limited attention spans because our brains are pretty much hardwired to really only pay attention to information that benefits us and that we don&#8217;t have to burn too much energy to comprehend.</p>
<p>So, for those reasons, your website needs to communicate really clearly the following three things in less than five seconds. First, it has to tell people what it is. You provide how that makes their lives better and then what do they need to do to get it? Not only does that have to happen in the first five seconds and also now step in at the very top of the page, without them scrolling down.</p>
<p>You know I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve heard the term above the fold that just refers to all the real estate. That&#8217;s above the point on the page where you have to scroll down, and there&#8217;s, a lot of debate on this. You know yet people are conditioned to the internet and websites and they know that there&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Information below the fold and they will scroll down, but only if those three questions are answered and in such a way that makes them want to know more okay, so the next element of a high converting landing page is conveying your three key benefits.</p>
<p>One of my favorite tricks &#8211; and I work on any web project &#8211; is to come up with those top three benefits, or you can think of them as perks that your customers get when they work with you and benefits.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t mean features. One of my favorite examples of this is from Apple. You know everybody loves to use Apple as the example, but this is when the iPod first came out. You know they could have very easily went into all the tech specs of you know.</p>
<p>This thing has a gigabyte of of storage on it, but they knew that wouldn&#8217;t really mean much to the customer, so instead they framed it as a thousand songs in your pocket. You know the storage capacity is the feature, but the ability of the customer to walk around with a thousand songs in their pocket.</p>
<p>Now that&#8217;s a benefit that they care about and coming up with, these benefits is actually easier than you think. So. First of all, think of the features you provide, your customers that may be your competition, doesn&#8217;t, or maybe they do, but they aren&#8217;t talking about it.</p>
<p>So think of those features then ask yourself: what&#8217;s? The benefit that results from that feature you know, fill in the blank like this. We offer feature a so you can dot dot dot. For instance, if you were an installer of vinyl patios, you know the fact that they&#8217;re more durable than wood.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s, a feature, but the benefit is they&#8217;re maintenance-free and you never have to stain or paint them for the lifetime of the product. So come up with those three benefits. You know three is just kind of that magic number that looks good on a page and doesn&#8217;t, feel overwhelming name.</p>
<p>Each benefit with a headline give it a really short description like a sentence or less, and then you&#8217;re, going to want to use some kind of an icon or a photo to go along with it, to make it more visually.</p>
<p>Appealing and understandable. At a glance you know people do more skimming of websites than actually reading them, so the visual cues go a long way there. The next element of a really highly converting landing page that I highly recommend you try to do this year, is a really short video that clearly establishes the problem you solve how you solve it, how that helps your customers life for the better and what&#8217;s to be lost by your customer if they don&#8217;t go with your solution and they go with another solution or choose nothing at all.</p>
<p>It only needs to be around 60 seconds and it should tell that complete story from start to finish. Really emphasizing the transformation that occurs from before your customer found you to the happier after state and just go ahead and end the video with a really clear call to action, and it should be the same call to action that you use everywhere else.</p>
<p>On that page. All right number, five is social proof, so every good landing page needs either a testimonial or a case study featuring somebody who has already gone through that transformation that we just talked about.</p>
<p>Now. Videos tend to work best here. They just connect better than anything else. You can also use you know. Text-Based testimonials just be sure to include a real photo of the subject it shouldn&#8217;t, be too long, just a few sentences max, because again, people are skimming and not really reading, so, basically just making a few sentences long and it should still within Those few sentences tell that story of where they were before they found you finding you and then what their results look like after the fact, all right number six is a features list.</p>
<p>So I we talked a lot about. You know emphasizing benefits over features, which is all that everything we&#8217;ve talked about so far appeals much more to the emotional side. You know because if you know anything about marketing, most people make their buying decisions based purely on emotion.</p>
<p>But this is the section that lets them. Actually, you know justify that decision with a more logical point of view. So for this all, I really recommend is just a simple bullet list which talks about all the nuts and bolts things they get included.</p>
<p>With going with your service, you know things like a dedicated customer service, rep or pick-up and drop-off service. One little thing I like to do here that I think makes a difference psychologically is rather than using just circle bullets I like to use check marks.</p>
<p>You know in their mind, these are just things they can check off and it really emphasizes what they &amp; #. 39 re getting from going with you versus just kind of a random list of features all right. <p>&#8211; I can look at a landing page right away and know that it&#8217;s not going to convert. On the flip side, I can also look at a landing page and know if it&#8217;s going to convert exceptionally well. Hi everyone, I&#8217;m Neil Patel.</p>
<p>And today, I&#8217;m going to share with you the anatomy of a high converting landing page. (gentle melodic music) Before we get started, make sure you subscribe to this channel. And if you&#8217;re on YouTube, click the alert notification.</p>
<p>that way, when I release more videos and more tips, you&#8217;ll get notified. So do you want to know the secret to really high converting landing page? There&#8217;s a formula, and I&#8217;m about to share it with you.</p>
<p>And as long as you follow the formula step by step, you should produce better results. But the moment you don&#8217;t follow the formula step by step, you&#8217;ll notice that your conversions are going to tank and your landing pages won&#8217;t do well.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s get started. The first thing you need to do is clearly state your value proposition in a header. And this is important, a lot of people, like yeah, I&#8217;ll state the value proposition somewhere on the page.</p>
<p>No. The attention span of a human is less than a goldfish. In other words, if you can&#8217;t catch their attention in the headline, you&#8217;re screwed. Eight out of 10 people will read your headline, but only two of the 10 will read the rest of the copy on the page.</p>
<p>In other words, your headline is either going to make it where people will read the rest of your content, or you&#8217;re going to lose them. So if you can create amazing headline with your value proposition, you can attract people to read the rest of your page.</p>
<p>Now, the best tip that I can give you, because everyone&#8217;s going to have a different value proposition, is make sure your headline is something bold, you&#8217;re making a statement, it&#8217;s short, and to the point.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t want something that&#8217;s run-on. If you can do that, short, to the point, you&#8217;re making a statement, something bold, and ideally seven, eight words max. Maybe around six words ideally, you&#8217;ll do much better.</p>
<p>The moment it&#8217;s too run-on, you&#8217;re going to lose people. The second step you need in your landing page is a visual focus. Whether it&#8217;s a head shot, product shot, a video, some sort of visual focus where people can put all their attention to.</p>
<p>See, the moment someone goes through a headline, they read it, you need to grab their attention with a visual, and you need to get them to keep going. If you just have text and only text, and no visuals that people can watch, you&#8217;ll find that the conversions aren&#8217;t as great.</p>
<p>The higher quality you produce, the better off you are. The third thing you need is to outline the features and benefits. But it&#8217;s not just about feature, you need to more so focus on the benefits.</p>
<p>So the features are there because if you don&#8217;t talk about the features, you&#8217;re not going to get as many conversions. But the benefits are the key. People don&#8217;t buy something because of features, they buy because of the benefit.</p>
<p>Typically, benefits are the solution to their problem. Such as saves you time, saves you money. If the benefits aren&#8217;t there, and they&#8217;re not clearly stated, you&#8217;re not going to do well. And you don&#8217;t want to just state any benefits.</p>
<p>Like whatever you think is the benefits of the product or service. You want to talk to your ideal customers. Find out the problems that they&#8217;re facing. Ideally, your product or solution should solve those problems.</p>
<p>And that should be the benefit. How you&#8217;re solving the problems. Don&#8217;t talk about how you solve X, Y, and Z problem, it&#8217;s more so like, if something takes a lot of time for people, you can say, on average, this saves three hours, right? You&#8217;re letting them know the benefit.</p>
<p>The fourth step is presenting a single and focused call to action. A lot of people are like, &#8220;Oh, I&#8217;ve got a landing page. &#8220;I&#8217;m going to put a call to action everywhere.&#8221; You could do that.</p>
<p>And for some products, it works. But not for most. The reason you want to have a single, focused call to action, and eventually after that one call to action, you can have more later down, but when you have your headline, your visual focus, you&#8217;re talking about your benefits, your solutions, you&#8217;re answering the objections.</p>
<p>Once someone gets the whole story and they understand why they should be buying your product or service, and then you have a call to action. They&#8217;re much more likely to convert. What most people like doing is saying, &#8220;Hey, here&#8217;s what I&#8217;m selling.</p>
<p>&#8221; And above the fold, they just put a call to action, like click this, here&#8217;s some more details, click this, here&#8217;s some more details, click this. And what you&#8217;ll find is someone doesn&#8217;t get the full picture, so then when they go to the checkout page, or the lead form page, the conversion from visitor to filling out the lead.</p>
<p>or visitor to checking out, is much lower. It&#8217;s not about getting the most amount of people to your checkout or lead form pages. It&#8217;s about getting the highest number of completions. So yeah, you may not get as many clicks, but if everyone who visits those pages converts, you could be better off.</p>
<p>And that&#8217;s why you want to answer all the objections, the benefits, have your main heading, have your main visual focus, and then go into your call to action. Versus just being like &#8220;Hey, &#8220;land on my landing page, &#8220;you came here, click this and buy right away.</p>
<p>&#8221; because most people are going to be like, &#8220;Sorry, see you later.&#8221; The fifth thing you want to do is include testimonials and other visual proof. I love doing reviews, whether it&#8217;s a service or a product.</p>
<p>Reviews are amazing. A reason a reviews is amazing is people know the truth. How they feel, how they don&#8217;t feel, if it&#8217;s great or if it&#8217;s bad. And by including that, they can then get a better sense if it&#8217;s right for them, or if it&#8217;s not a good fit for them.</p>
<p>The sixth thing you need to do is give a guarantee. Whether you&#8217;re doing a free trial with no credit card, so there&#8217;s low risk, or you&#8217;re giving a 30 day or 60 day money-back guarantee, those are awesome things.</p>
<p>You want people to feel comfortable. If they&#8217;re not happy, you know you&#8217;re going to end up refunding them anyways. If you don&#8217;t, in the long run, it&#8217;s going to tarnish your brand. Look, we&#8217;re not all perfect.</p>
<p>We all get complaints, even I do. And when we do, what do you try to do? You solve them. That&#8217;s why the guarantee&#8217;s important. Because the moment you can solve these problems for people, and show that you&#8217;re there and you care, they&#8217;re more likely to convert.</p>
<p>The last step, integrate story telling into your landing page. If you don&#8217;t integrate story telling, you&#8217;ll find that your conversions won&#8217;t do as well. People love soap operas. Whether you like them personally or not, people do.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s why they&#8217;re on television 24-seven. If you can integrate story telling, take people through the emotional roller coasters, the ups, the downs, they&#8217;re much more likely to convert. It&#8217;s all about the story.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s that thousand-plus year old marketing technique that we all tend to forget. But it&#8217;s worked for so many years, and it&#8217;ll still keep working, no matter what channels are out there, no matter what algorithm updates happen.</p>

You might sell a shirt on there with a discount and you wanna drive people to buy that, right? So you&#8217;re going to make a landing page to capture contact information and allow people to get that coupon, discount, or promotion.</p>
<p>So we&#8217;re going to build that in three minutes, or less. Alright, let&#8217;s show you how to do it. &#8211; Start the timer. &#8211; [Dan] So first, Ernest is going to into campaigns, he&#8217;s gonna create and edit a new campaign as he&#8217;s in the campaign builder he just has to drag out that landing page node.</p>
<p>Now the great thing about the landing page builder is that we&#8217;ve put a lot of fantastic templates in here and the goal was to minimize how much time you&#8217;re spending creating something from scratch because you have something that fits what your needs are.</p>
<p>So you&#8217;re gonna show others how to market their business and you&#8217;ve chosen a template that says &#8211; [Ernest] Maximize Your Marketing Strategy. &#8211; [Dan] Boom! Now it looks like you&#8217;re naming your page.</p>
<p>The cool thing about the landing page builder at the bottom you can see your progress and the steps that you&#8217;re in. And to move through steps, you just click on next step or back. Now, the goal for Ernest here is to simply edit and customize this template to fit what he&#8217;s building or he&#8217;s doing, and the great thing is, you don&#8217;t have to do a lot, you just have to change the text, change maybe some of the images.</p>
<p>The research that we&#8217;ve done on how these pages are built is to really make a compelling page that converts people. So it looks like he&#8217;s gonna add a picture here. Oh, add a logo. &#8211; [Ernest] Alright, looks good.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s not my phone number (laughter) As a matter of fact, I prefer not to have a phone number. &#8211; [Dan] Yeah. &#8211; [Ernest] There we go. &#8211; [Dan] So quickly delete sections as well. So Ernest, you&#8217;re editing the copy right now, walk me through what&#8217;s going through your mind as you&#8217;re building this.</p>
<p>&#8211; [Ernest] So, it&#8217;s already designed in a way to where it&#8217;s kinda got the elements that I need. It&#8217;s got the call to action up top which is definitely something that you want. It&#8217;s got some copy in there already, and then on here it&#8217;s giving me the ability to show someone what they&#8217;re actually gonna get out of working with me.</p>
<p>&#8211; Gotchya. &#8211; So all I really need to do is modify the copy a little bit and then if I&#8217;d like to change the images, I can do that. For example, this image right here may not apply to me or even this one may not apply to me.</p>
<p>So I can tap it here and I&#8217;m gonna go ahead and replace that image and I don&#8217;t necessarily have one that might work so I&#8217;m going to see if the gallery has anything for me. &#8211; [Dan] So while you&#8217;re doing that Ernest, the great thing is we have a bunch of royalty free images on the gallery so you can choose from a plethora of different things that really fit your needs.</p>
<p>&#8211; [Ernest] Perfect, and I found something that actually works great in this case. So Build Your Site is the content I went with, and I&#8217;ve got a neat little laptop here that shows new products so that actually works out pretty well for me.</p>
<p>I think I&#8217;m ready to go. &#8211; [Dan] Awesome, let&#8217;s do this, let&#8217;s launch this! &#8211; [Ernest] Alright. I think I&#8217;m gonna keep the Thank You page as is &#8211; [Both] And? &#8211; Ready to go live? &#8211; Here I go.</p>
<p>.. &#8211; Do it! Boom! &#8211; [Ernest] Page is live. &#8211; [Dan] Awesome. &#8211; [Ernest] Beautiful, love it. &#8211; I can&#8217;t believe we did that, that&#8217;s awesome. So guys, build a landing page in three minutes or less using the templates, put your own copy, put your own images on there and you have a high converting, compelling landing page on your website.</p>
<p>&#8211; If we can say one thing, back in the day, you used to have to hire a web developer. &#8211; Oh my gosh, yeah. &#8211; They had to build this from scratch, they&#8217;d bill you hourly, if there was a change you needed to make, you needed to communicate with them, and they had to put it on their queue of things to work on.</p>
