Is they even have a calculator you can switch between slab and hybrid and based on how many customers that you’ll, be referring? You can see exactly how much per sale you’ll be making and what the total estimated earnings would be.

So, as you’ll see here, slab 1 1 through 5 slab 2 6 through 20 customers, 21 to 40, 546 to 80, and then once you get over 80, then you can about maybe some custom custom commissioned structures there.

So here you can put in the number of customers per month and you’ll, see that it jumps you up to the appropriate slab, how much per sale each one of those will be, and then this will be your estimated earning.

So that’s for slab, where you just get a one-time payment, then on hybrid there’s, even some more additional options. It gives you a nice graph over time, so you can see when your recurring commissions start to stack up, that it keeps growing and growing.

So you ‘ Ll, see that here again you can put in how many customers per month, you think you’ll, be referring, and then you can even change the provider for any one of the five different cloud hosting servers that they offer.

As well as which plan they’ve chosen on that one, so the higher the plan it’s, going to cost the customer more money, which means that 7 percent commission that you get over time gets even bigger. So seven percent of 200 is more than 7 percent of 100.

So if they’re choosing higher plans, then your commission goes up even more with the hybrid structure. So this calculator is a pretty neat way to figure out how much you could actually be earning with their affiliate program.

Most of the other features of their affiliate program are fairly standard across the hosting industry. There are a couple of exceptions, so payouts are issued monthly via PayPal, but if you are making over $ 1,000 a month, they do have a direct bank transfer option one.

What I consider to be a small downside to the program is that their payment threshold is two hundred and fifty dollars, which is a bit higher than most other programs. So you’ve got to hit at least that much in referral revenue before you can get paid and that’s a little bit higher than what a lot of the other programs offer.

However, one upside is that they’re cookie lasts for 90 days, which is pretty generous when it comes to affiliate programs. So if somebody lands on the site from your link, then they have up to 30 days to make a purchase and when they do, you’re still credited for that referral.

It’s, saying something like if you’re using the site, we’re gonna be collecting your cookies. If you’re, ok with that click, OK, and so they would click ok, but the thing is is if they’re like no, it’s, not ok! I don’t want you to to put cookies in my browser, then they can’t do anything about it.

So what’s? The point it’s better, I guess just to say we’re taking your cookies and that’s. That’s. The bottom line, if you don’t like it, get out of here, better to say that, but instead we’re, giving them a chance to accept it, but not deny it.

So it’s kind of weird in these plugins. When you install these plugins, they would be the install instructions will say something like just in simply install the plug-in and activate they’re good to go, but you’re.

Really not so anyway, I want to look at that today. I want to look at exactly what these plugins are supposed to be doing, and I’m gonna be using a very popular one to demonstrate called cookie notice by defect 3.

That’s, seven hundred thousand plus installs active installs and 301 reviews five stars. So I’m gonna show you how this works and if you have a cookie plug-in that you’re, not quite sure what it’s. Doing then watch this video.

So let’s, go to settings and down at the bottom, you’ll, see a button for it advanced and then you’ll, see content, settings and cookies and see all cookies and site data click that and type in Your site, mine, is test site down to local, so I’m gonna click test site and you see I have five cookies set.

These are basic WordPress cookies that WordPress uses so no problem here. So that’s. How you see what and I’m gonna show you something in the screen in a minute, but let’s, go back and look at the plugin, alright.

So in the settings screen here we have our configuration there’s, a message and says we use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website. If you continue to use the site, we will assume that you’re happy with it and then there’s, a button that says okay.

So what’s? The point of clicking? Okay? If you know we’re taking your cookies up here, it says we’re taking their cookies, and if you continue this side, we assume you’re happy with it click! Ok, to be okay with that.

Well, if you’re, not ok with that, so it just seems kind of kind of pointless. But anyway, let me show you how to use this, and this is every plugin. This is not cookie notice. Only so the button text is okay, you might may put something like accept your privacy policy.

You want to link to that. Okay, that’s, something that is important, so read more page link. I don’t, have a price upon Z, because I just whipped up this test side. So I’m. Just going to sample page and down.

Here is what I want to discuss. All right refuse cookies revoke cookies. We’ll get to in a minute, but there is a box called script blocking all right, and what this does is is this there’s, a function that’s, run seeing cookies.

Accepting that looks for the cookie. That is set when you accept the cookies, when you accept, when you click, OK or accept it’s. Going to this function is gonna, say that and then it’s going to allow the script to run.

Now, if you some some websites or blocking things like Google, Analytics or crazy egg or lucky orange or a Google tag manager, something like that, they’re. They’re gonna block those until cookies are accepted.

So if you come on the site and you you’re, like I’m gonna click, refuse, if you get that option, because you don’t want to be tracked, then you can set your script here so where Normally you would, you would go into your next alone, where normally you would go into your header or a lot of themes offer this easily done with some kind of customizer or some kind of easier feature.

Where you go into your header in place, you save your Google Analytics code. So let me just show you this. If I put Google Analytics in the header and I open the site – and I do the page source – you’re gonna see that I have Google Analytics script here in my header now what this plugin does, instead of just putting that in your Header or putting it in the customizer or, however, you do with your screen.

You would put it here instead, and this would be conditional on them accepting your cookies. So let me remove that. Remove that and be sure it’s, not in the page. There it is it’s gone all right, so I’m gonna put that script, that Google Analytics script into this script blocking and also, if you think about it, if they click OK in menu, and then you allow scripts.

You also want to reload the page, so the script can load okay, so you want to click this box and able to reload the page after cookies are accepted. So let’s, flick that and let’s, give it a shot and we ‘

Ll, come back to the rest of the settings in a minute, so Save Changes. Alright, so I entered my Google Analytics script. I’m gonna go back to my site and I’m gonna refresh and my script is not there.

Okay, so let’s see how this works. So somebody comes to the site. Let me refresh this page. Somebody comes to your site and they see this notice. We use cookies. If you continue to use the side where we assume that you’re happy with it, okay, so the minute you click accept.

So I’m gon. Na click accept the minute, you click that this function runs and it checks for a specific cookie. Let me show you what that cookie is back to settings, go back here and just kind of refresh that I have nine cookies now and that’s.

My Google Analytics cookies, but the main one here we want to look at is cookie notice accepted when you accept the cookies, with the cookie notice plug in it inserts our cookie in your browser, called cookie notice, accepted once the function sees that it now allows your Scripts, so if I now go to the source and refresh, I should see that that script is now on my page and it is not so something’s up, Oh actually, yeah.

Actually it might be yeah here. It is right here. Sorry I don’t know why I thought it’d, be in the same spot. It’s. Gon na put it down lower because it’s. It’s, dependent on the cookie notice, wherever they want to hook it into so we’ll, probably WP hit, but anyway.

So here’s, my script, my script is now there so that’s. That’s, the basic gist of it. If you, your, Google, Analytics crazy egg, lucky orange Google tag manager all of these scripts that you would put into the header normally, if you want to have those not run until the cookies are, except, if you put that here in the head, if you have body Script, you can put that into the body script and then, when they click, OK, it’s going to reload the page after the cookies are accepted.

Now let me show you one other thing: if I go over here back to my cookies and I erase these okay, I don’t want cookie notice, except that I want to clear all of these cookies out and I signed out of my sight.

I go to logout and I close these other pages. Yes, I want to logout all right and let me open up a page and just kind of click around a little bit. Let me visit my hello world post and now. Let me go back to my cookies and you punch this in one test site.

You see that I have five cookies again, so by default, this cookie plugin is not doing anything. It’s, just saying, as we discuss a lot going through again, but anyway it’s, not doing anything. If you really want to give the option, then you want to block the scripts until they accept the cookies.

And again, I’m, not sure if that’s, the best practice, because I don’t like that idea either, but that is what the plugin is for. So in that case you would do something like this. I can go back to my settings and I can choose this all right, unable to give the user the possibility to refuse third party non-functional cookies, so I can give them the option to say no.

So if I’m, saying hey, I’m going to collect your stuff. Is that okay click OK seems like. I should give them the option to say no, that’s, not okay, just my thoughts. So if I check this, it’s. Gon na put another button in the ribbon, and so instead of no, I’m gonna put define like Save Changes, and then let me go back to my cookies here and just delete them all right.

So if I go back to my site now, I should have the banner again giving both options all right here’s, the notice I can accept, or I can decline if I click the climb, that notice is gone and let’s. See if my script is running so previously, if i refresh this enough, but anyway let’s, hit refresh and see.

If my script is in there, let’s, search for Google, my parents out there and stop them. So Google Analytics was somewhere around here and it is not there. So that’s, the that’s, the other option. You know I don’t again, I don’t know if you want people to to decline your cookies, but that’s, an option.

Okay. So if we jump back just one more thing, I don’t mean to keep you out. Let me log back in alright, so so I have, I mean they’re able to refuse they’re able to excel. Let’s. Look at a couple. Other things that are offered here here is the option to accept cookies on scroll, and I’m, not sure if this is the best practice either, but what it is is if they see your notice and they’re like oh, whatever.

I’m gonna check this out anyway and start scrolling, then that automatically accepts and kind of mean, but not sure. If that’s best practice cookie expiry. You can change this. When you want your cookie to expire, you can change it to whatever it’s by default, set in one month.

Let’s say it really depends on the client. How demanding you think that clients going to be – and you know all the plugins and themes that you’ve got on the site – should allow you to kind of make a judgment on that generally I charge on an annual basis.

Just a quick point: when it comes to preparing a quote for a client, I would recommend that you don’t itemize everything out in too much detail.

So I wouldn’t itemize out, you know plugins or themes. I would just kind of put it all together as a website creation project. You can obviously bullet point what’s going to be included, but I wouldn’t put individual prices for each thing.

It just makes it easier and it stops kind of any awkward questions or back-and-forth. So if you’re gonna be using premium of themes, which I strongly recommend that you do. I wouldn’t, use free themes and if you’re gonna be using premium, plugins just bundle them into the quote: don’t, itemize them separately.

One last point: when it comes to charging for things, I’d, recommend that you don’t get involved in email services website hosting is one thing, but email services is a completely different thing and yeah best avoided.

Now you might be thinking okay, that’s great, but you know how do I find people to sit in front of people that want a website? Well, I’ve, had some great success with networking events and I’m sure there is some networking events in your town.

Basically just do some Google searches, I’m sure you’ll, find them networking. Events generally are breakfasts or lunches, or sometimes even evening engagements, and you basically get to go to one of these events and go into the room, meet a whole load of other business people and talk to them swap cards and all that kind of thing, and yes Say it’s a great place to meet people now networking is quite a slow process.

A few tips on networking is when you go into room. You’re there just to basically make some connections. You’re there to make some business friends if you will so that basically involves again listening and talking and asking questions and not trying to talk too much about yourself.

One thing you do want to make sure that you don’t. Do and that is try and sell to people in the room. You’re, not there to sell you’re just there to make some connections and obviously hopefully people will ask you what you’re all about and what your business is and what your services are.

And then you have an opportunity to tell them, but yeah do a lot of listening and a lot of talking and get to know. People – and you might need to go to these events three or four times to start building up some really good connections and then trust me once you ‘

Ve got those connections. The business referrals will start to come another way to get some new potential. Clients is to do some websites for free, and I know you know that sounds like a bit of a pain, but you got to do these things when you’re starting out.

If you know some people will you, you know hear about people that are after a new website, it might just be a local club or organization, something like that offered to create their website for free using WordPress.

And if you do a good job and you create a good site and you help them and all that kind of stuff, they will tell other people and those people will probably tell other people, and then you’ll start to get the business referrals Coming in so that brings me on to my last point with regards to selling WordPress services and getting more clients, and that, basically, is just do a good job just help your clients out just create good websites, use good software, so use good themes and good plugins.

Give your clients a great experience and just generally be there for them and be helpful and help them fix their problems, and then they will tell their friends and their business associates and those in turn will tell other people.

And then you’ll start to get some great business referrals coming in now I generate all of my clients through referral, so yeah it works really well for me, I just try and do my best trying to cast my clients and they then end Up talking about it and yeah referrals come [, Music ], let’s.

Talk about actually building the site’s. You’ve sold a few, and now it’s time to build them. So I’m, not gonna go into too much detail because I ‘ Ve got loads of other videos on this channel around creating the actual site, but I just want to give you a few pointers on this.

So my first tip is always build on your hosting. So, as I mentioned at the start, you can sell hosting using a reseller package like the one that I recommended from SiteGround. I would always recommend that you do this.

I wouldn’t use the clients hosting, because if there’s any problems you get in the situation where there’s, a lot of back-and-forth between you and the hosting company and the hosting companies saying it’S your fault and you’re, saying let’s, put on with the hosting and the clients going.

What’s going on is problem? Who’s gonna fix it and yeah just become difficult. So if you’ve got the hosting under your control. It’s, your hosting then the buck stops with you. You’re, then able to get everything sorted.

You can obviously deal with the hosting company, whether it be SiteGround. They’ll, give you some good support and you get problems fixed and it’s. A lot easier. It doesn’t make you look bad. The clients happy everyone’s happy.

My next tip is to use a premium theme, do not use free themes when you’re doing commercial projects for clients use a really high quality premium theme that way. If there is any problems with it, you can get support from the developers.

You’ll, be regularly updated with security fixes and extra features, and you’ll just generally find it a lot easier. If you use a premium theme speaking of premium themes, I recommend that you choose a nice versatile theme that allows you to do lots of things that way.

You can learn it and then you can use it for all of your client sites and they’ll. All look completely different because you’ve got such a fantastic, versatile theme. Some examples of this would be anything that uses element all really well, so something like Astra WP or ocean WP, and they’re.

Both good themes, use Elementor and can be used for all sorts of different sites. You might want to look at X theme, which uses two cornerstone page builder, that’s. Okay, it’s a little bit complicated, but you can create some good sites and then, of course, there’s.

Also Divi theme, which is popular with a number of WordPress experts, and again it uses a great page builder, making it really easy for you to lay out some great designs. So that leads me nicely on to design and when you first meet up the client.

You’re gonna want to get some ideas in terms of what kind of site they’re after a good way to do. This is to ask them to send you some examples of existing sites out on the internet that they, like the look of this way you can use them as design inspiration and just place.

It give you some guidance on how you’re gonna be laying out the site, one other tip. When it comes to design, you might be with a client and they’ll say something like. Oh, I’ve got my graphic designer here and I’m, going to ask them to knock up some designs for the web site.

Is that going to be okay with you generally? My answer to that is no. That’s, not going to be okay. We’re gonna be using premium themes and they’re gonna be fluid, and I’m gonna do a great design for you using these premium themes, but I’m.

Not gonna be able to take a picture that a graphic designer is knocked up and colored in and transfer that across onto the theme that’s, going to be too much work that involves custom development. That is not what I’m about.

If you want that, then you are going to need a different WordPress developer, someone that can build you your own theme, and then you want to explain why that’s, a bad idea, because you know you’re gonna have to Keep that theme up-to-date.

If you fall out with a developer, then you’re, not gonna really get any use it or update it, because no one else is going to want to touch it and it’s. A whole lot of other ideas. Why that is a bad idea, so you know my key point on design.

There is do not let a graphic designer get involved. My final point on building a site is you can pretty much achieve anything with WordPress when you find the right plugins, but don’t be too over ambitious, you might go and see a client and they’ll, say yeah.

For your current skill set, I mean I’m all for pushing ourselves and you know learning stuff on the job, but sometimes they’re just too big, and I know it’s from experience because I’Ve taken on projects that were too big for me and were too big for WordPress and what ends up happening.

Is you create this and you end up adding all of these plugins to try and get it doing what the client wants and then the site doesn’t work properly and it runs really slow and it’s just a world of Hell so yeah don’t be too over ambitious.

If the clients got like these really big ideas, you even knock them down a bit or you walk away and leave them to you, someone else when it comes to using plugins. Of course you want to limit the number that you use, but I say you generally can achieve anything with a wordpress plugin and if you’re in a client meeting at the beginning and they’re asking about certain features and functionality That they want on the site – and you’re, not hundred percent sure.

If there’s a plug-in that can do that. Just explain that you can go away and do some research on that and it probably can be done. But you’ll come back to them on it, and you ‘ Ll generally be fine and it’s same as it was with the themes.

I’d, always use premium plugins if they’re available, because you get the support and you get the updates and if stuff does go wrong, you can then reach out to developer and hopefully get the help that you need.

Obviously, if they want something major, you know they want to change theme or they want a whole new section and to the website. Then I would charge for that separately. So I am a bit vague in my support terms or conditions.

I just say you know small changes and yes that could be questioned, but it ‘ S worked okay for me. So far, so yeah that’s. What I include in my support package, you may want to change it, but it ‘

S worked well for me in terms of actually managing the sport. So when something does go wrong first thing I will usually do if it’s relating to a theme or plugin is reach out to the developers of that theme or plugin, which is why using premium stuff is really important and generally they’ll get it fixed for me, so not too much work for me to do just raise a couple of tickets and give them some login details and let them fix it.

Another thing you’re gonna want to do when it comes to supporting websites is make sure that you have regular backups, that’s, always there to save you. If something major does go wrong, say a site gets hacked or you know if the client deletes a whole load of stuff, you’ve, got that backup to save them, and my last point on offering support is don’t, be afraid To use an expert if you need to so I know a few WordPress developers and they are proper developers.

You know they can get into the code and do stuff like that. I use them. If I really need to and then opportunity expensive, just for an hour or half an hour whatever it is, but they’re there. If you know something does break or something major does go wrong.

I pull them in and they help me out in terms of security, and this has happened a few times. If a client’s, site gets hacked, which is a really bad thing. That is something that I cannot do myself. I cannot clean a hack site because you know these hackers they hide stuff all over and yeah it’s, really difficult to get a hundred percent cleaned in that situation.

I would pay a company to help me with that. Maybe someone like securiy or wordfence. Indeed, they offer a removal service and yeah. Sometimes you kind of have to take a loss on it because you have to pay for it and you know whatever, but generally, if you’ve got enough support clients.

It’s, a bit like insurance. You will make money overall and if you find that you have got a client that’s, getting hacked all the time always having problems, then, when it comes to their support renewal.

At the end of the year, you can put your price up and you can justify it by saying well at the cycle. I hacked four times last year and we’re all these problems. I have to charge you more sorry, [, Music ].

So, with nearly at the end of the last section is my final thoughts, just a few tips and suggestions when it comes to making money selling these WordPress services. My first thought is: you are going to make some mistakes.

I’ve made loads of mistakes that’s for sure it’s going to happen. It’s just going to go wrong on client sites. You’re, going to mess up and yeah. The best thing to do is learn what you can from that mistake and move on don’t.

Let it get you down too much. It’s going to happen and it’s. The only kind of way that we learn how to manage clients how to build sites and everything in between so don’t worry about making. Some mistakes is going to happen.

My next thought is on the clients themselves. Some clients are going to be toxic. I guess that’s, the right word for them. They are going to SAP all of your energy and take up all of your time and probably give you the least amount of money.

For that time, I’ve had clients like this. I think everyone in business has had clients like this and those clients. They need to go simple as that you have to sometimes fire a client, and that can be difficult sometimes, but generally, the best way to do it I find is when you get to the end of a sport agreement cuz that’s, probably the Only time you can do it, especially if they’ve paid up for a year and it gets really bad, in which case you’ll just have to kind of give their money back or whatever and just say that go away, but Generally, you can normally wait to the end of the support agreement and that’s.

The time that you raise it. You either say that I’m, not doing this anymore or I’m. You know winding down and I can’t help you anymore. Ideally, you want to find another wordpress person that you could maybe refer them to and say you know you know John over here will be able to help you out that’s, one good way of getting rid of them.

Another way is just to simply ramp up the price so that it becomes ridiculous for them to renew or if they do renew. Then it’s, not so bad anyway, because they’re, paying loads of money. But yeah be careful with this, because I ‘

Ve tried it in the past. I put the price up and the client hasn’t actually gone, they have just renewed and I’ve still hated it and they ‘ Ve still been toxic and it ‘ S still not been worth the money.

So if you are going to do that, make sure that you raise the price enough to really scare them off. The other thing I will just stress again is what I said in our session is that some projects are going to be just too big and ambitious.

Do a void them don’t, try and go for them. If you think it’s going to take 30 or 40 plugins to achieve what you need, then don’t touch that project. It’s not going to work. It’s. Gon na be a headache, and you’re gonna hate it so yeah avoid the really ambitious projects.

So the final thing I’m gonna leave you with is once you get to a point where you have delivered some great sites. You’ve, got a few nice clients in your portfolio and they’re all happy and you get referrals make sure that you are charging what you’re worth.

This is a problem that I’ve. Seen a number of times, especially in the technology space, where people don’t charge what they really should be charging. They think that people buy on price, which people don’t really people very rarely buy a service on price.

They’re gonna, be looking at lots of other things in order to make their decision so make sure that you’re charging. What you were – and you know when you have been doing it a few years and you have been making some really good sites – you should be into the four figures for websites at least, and possibly even five figures for a site that’s.

You know completely normal for a really really good WordPress person, so just make sure that you’re doing that and well. I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors when it comes to setting up WordPress services.

 I’m, going to show you how to set up seriously simple, podcasting and configure your podcast feed for submission to iTunes, stitcher and Google Play first thing in the plugins area in WordPress.

We can see that seriously simple podcasting plug-in is installed. I’m also using the Genesis theme framework, so Genesis support is installed as well. Both of these are free plugins and can be found in the wordpress.

org repository here in the podcast menu item. We can see settings will click on that and get started. Configuring our show the first setting that you’ll come to is which type of posts will be included in the podcast RSS feed by default seriously, simple podcasting only has podcast posts included in the theme.

If you want to include regular blog posts, just click the post menu item here and if you have custom post types already configured on your website. Those will show up here and you can include those as well.

If you want to include podcast posts in the main blog, you can click the second menu item, but just know that different themes will behave differently with this option. The next option is where to display the podcast media player on your pages.

For me, I only like it on full pages, not on excerpts and above the content for each post. We’ll, save these settings and get on to configuring our podcast feed settings here in the DeFede details area.

We can see a little bit more about our podcasts RSS feed. We have things like title subtitle, both of which iTunes will display the author’s name and encourage you to use a lot of keywords here. So we were, we were a little bit whimsical with our title, subtitle and authors, but this is a great place for you to place keywords that are relevant to your podcast, so that people in iTunes and stitcher can find them by searching for those keywords.

The other item that really helps with discoverability is the three categories that you’re afforded within iTunes. They have both parent and child categories, and these are the parent categories here in 2017, selecting a parent category and then the relevant child category below that and each of these being different will give your podcast a lot of discoverability when people are searching through the categories.

In iTunes in general, you want to have each parent category be different, and really you want each child category to be different as well. This just gives your podcast better reach. The next thing that you want the description or summary of the podcast.

This tells potential listeners to your show what they can expect by tuning in and hearing what you have to say. One thing to remember here is that no HTML is allowed, so you can’t, embed links or social media handles in here.

Only plain text, your podcast cover image, can be uploaded here and needs to be at least 1400 by 1400. Pixels in iTunes is preferring now 3,000 by 3,000 pixels. The last few items you need here are the owner’s, name and email address for iTunes to get in touch with you when your podcast has been submitted and approved, any copyright notices that you want to get and whether your podcast is explicit or Not just a warning here if your podcast is explicit, go ahead and mark it as explicit.

If there’s, if there’s, a notification against your show and it’s not marked as explicit iTunes could pull it from their library and that’s. It will save, will click, save podcast settings and take a look at our podcast RSS feed here.

This opens in a new browser tab and you can see the title, the subtitle and the image that we uploaded. If we had podcast episodes here, they would show up down here all in order with the most recent ones appearing at top, so that’s.

The way you get going with WordPress is downloaded from wordpress.org or you can install it via your web host. But this isn’t a tutorial on that. This is about selling products. So once you’ve got WordPress installed, go ahead and get the WooCommerce plug-in downloaded and installed on your blog.

So here I’ve. Just got an old site. I’ll blow of this one for this. The purpose of this tutorial, so I’m just going to log in okay. So let’s, go ahead and download or install the plug-in WooCommerce. Do a search for that search and go ahead and install this plug-in here.

Okay, so activate the plug-in, and then we’re just going to go through a few quick setup things. So what you’re going to need for this to take payments, is a PayPal account. So if you haven’t got a PayPal, account hello, head over to paypal.

com and register for an account there and what you’re. Going to need is your the the details that you, the email address that you signed up for PayPal with. So just if you get that wrong that you’re, not going about taking your payments, so go ahead.

Let’s, set up the payment options. First, I’m going to go into the settings okay. Well, we need to install the pages first and come back okay, so sign here. We need to install these these pages into WordPress.

So let’s, go ahead and install these we could manually add certain short codes, but this is a blank site. So I’m just going to install install these pages automatically, and then I’m going to go into the settings and then we’re going to set up our PayPal account.

So we’re, going to go in to check out check out and then we ‘ Ve got PayPal. So what I have a PayPal, checkout click on settings and then here’s, where the important part where you put your email address to receive PayPal payment.

So mine, for example, is a lot of Dreams. Up is just an old email address and I signed up PayPal ages ago and then I think the same. You put the same email just there, and this is optional. So that’s.

The main thing you need to put your your paypal email address. Oops and they’ll receive it email address. Actually this is my receive it. You know it just is slightly different than mine is actually okay.

Okay, yours should be the same. I imagine if you use the same PayPal same email address. You signed up with PayPal so that’s, that one done and then Save Changes, and then we should be good to go. Take payments! Okay! The next thing is, we’re, going to show you how to add a product.

So here we have the product section of woo commerce. So go ahead and add your first product click on add product. Now we can type in the title of product. So say: test product the title: we pretty content about your your product.

There you can add pictures and video. I didn’t, think you want in this space here. You want to set the product image here. So click on set product image and then select a file, so we’ll just use any old.

I’ll. Just use any old image here that’s. What I’m, do fit Google Apps okay. So once it’s, uploaded set the product image by clicking on set product image, and that should be done. Okay put your sale price in so your regular price, which we want to sell it at.

Obviously, if it’s on a sale, so you would put maybe 80 pounds, for example, or 80 dollars in whatever currency you’re working in and then we can publish the product and we should publish now that product will be published.

On my website and view that so here we are, this is added to the site. I’m gonna change this theme actually because it is not compatible with Wu teams, so that’s, a good point. You actually need to have a template that is listed as being practical with WooThemes, and I’m, showing what I’m gonna.

Do I’m just gonna switch this back to the default WordPress theme for now. 2014 and then that should look a bit better, so there we go, we’ve now added our products into there, and then we can add that, to our cart, you know Add to Cart.

You know view the cart. We then proceed to checkout. We can fill in our details and then we’re gonna choose PayPal as our as our option sheet: the PayPal. Okay, it’s, asking me to fill in some details here: okay, so there we go.

I’ve added a product and that’s. Now pushed this. It’s processed that into PayPal, and if I put in my details here, obviously I want to pay myself, but this would be a function in products. So you see in as little as the time we’ve just taken to set up a few minutes.

You can have a product up online ready to sell very quickly, obviously creating a product, and you know it takes a bit more time to do that, but you can see the technology behind it. Doesn’t. Take too long.

If you want to get started selling products using WordPress okay, so I just want to mention that the purpose of these tutorials is not really. I’m, not trying to make a perfect tutorials here. I just want to give you really an overview and what you can do with WordPress and hopefully give you something very quickly in these short videos.

So I’m not going to spend subsequent videos. I’m, not going to spend a lot of time, setting up demo pages and things I’m just going to use real world examples which I have okay. So what we’ve done in this this little video.

I’ve shown you how to install WooCommerce into WordPress. We spoke about very generally about themes and having a compatible theme with WooCommerce is important now, obviously, the default themes that come with WordPress, probably not going to be the best ones to use.

Revenue hits uh pop under the pop unders, depending on where your viewers are coming from guys. Remember this isn’t an accurate number. It’s just my number. Actually they’re all being compared by me. So there’s, no funny business that i know of anyways um you’re.
