<p>Your landing page is the single most important part of your sales funnel. If you double your conversion rate, you double your leads and yes, double your business. So, here are my 6 copy components of a landing page that converts.</p>
<p>Hey guys, Alex here. This video is a long time coming, some of you have been requesting for me to do this one for a while. Well, I heard you loud and clear. This week, I’m revealing the 6 key components that I include in every single landing page that I write to convert visitors into leads like crazy.</p>
<p>These components are especially relevant to what today’s customers demand — high value, more transparency, and zero fluff. So whether you’re a freelance writer working with clients, or writing your own copy, a different landing page should be used for every single one of your marketing campaigns and traffic sources.</p>
<p>.. It’s how you build your list, which is the most valuable asset you can have as an online entrepreneur. The purpose of your landing page is to give your visitors something for free that demonstrates the quality of what your business offers in exchange for their information.</p>
<p>Now this is typically a user’s email address, which you can collect through a lead-capture form, but you might also be asking for their phone number or permission to contact them over Facebook Messenger.</p>
<p>Whatever your desired outcome, the goal is to create a list of engaged subscribers, nurture a high-value relationship and convert the right prospects into customers through your marketing. Now it’s no secret that businesses capture leads at a higher rate by sending prospects to highly-targeted and relevant landing pages, rather than to simply their own home page.</p>
<p>Now those are two very, very different marketing tools. A homepage is what I like to call your “PR Site”. Unlike landing pages and sales pages, a homepage isn’t primarily used for conversion. Instead, it features your brand, tells your story, and builds trust and credibility.</p>
<p>This is how people learn more about you and your business, which is great for cold organic traffic. Landing pages, on the other hand, have one single purpose — to build your list around a singular benefit or solution.</p>
<p>They are used for conversions, and are built for direct traffic, either paid or endorsed affiliate traffic, to capture a visitor’s information. While home pages are incredibly important to your brand and business, this is not what this video is about.</p>

<p>Alright, so let’s learn how to write a landing page, shall we? These are my six must-have copy components for a landing page that converts. Okay, so component number one. A free high-value promise Give what you would want to receive.</p>
<p>It really is that simple! Your landing page gives your brand a one-shot opportunity to demonstrate the value of your product or service&#8230; and earn your prospect’s trust from day 1. The copy needs to convey a clear and singular benefit that your visitor can expect after consuming whatever free content you’re giving away – and it needs to be good but not hypey or unbelievable.</p>
<p>Listen, your audience is getting more and more savvy. What used to seem like a no-brainer, sharing their email address has now become a heavily-weighted decision. They know why you want it and what you plan to do with it.</p>
<p>There is a TON of valuable content available for free out there, which means your leads are expecting some good stuff if they are willing to give you their email address. The number one question on everyone’s mind is “What is in it for me?” So, make it worth their while and offer them something of HIGH value.</p>
<p>And guys… high-value means something your prospects would actually consider spending money on, not some arbitrary price tag value that you scratch out with the word free. And lastly, be sure to DELIVER on your promise immediately.</p>
<p>Make sure whatever you’re providing in exchange for an email address offers insanely great value up front. Even though what you’re offering is free, it should absolutely deliver results. In fact, you should be giving away your BEST stuff for free.</p>
<p>It’s how you turn your leads into raving fans and lifelong customers. It’s the law of reciprocity at its finest. Okay, so component number two, a strong reason why. Even when you’re offering your visitors something for free, you still need to address that inner critic.</p>
<p>They want to know why you’re giving it away and why they should take action right now. So once you build up the value of what you’re offering, the next question you want to answer in your prospects minds in “Ok, if this is so valuable, why are you giving it away for free?” And the simple answer is usually the best one.</p>
<p>“I want you to experience my work, because I know once you do, you’ll be hooked and you might even buy something from me”&#8230; Or, “the feedback I receive about this free gift is so positive that I wanted as many people as possible to be able to get these results.</p>
<p>Because I know once you do, you’ll stick with me for life”&#8230; Justifying your offer is a key component in online marketing that is so often overlooked. Including an authentic reason for a discount or freebie helps to build trust and rapport with your audience.</p>
<p>Then, you can follow up with the reason they need to act right now. This is where you can play with good ol’ scarcity. Scarcity is one of the most effective techniques for increasing your conversions.</p>
<p>For example, maybe your giveaway is only available for a limited time or while it’s in stock. Or you could offer a bonus gift or upgrade to the first 100 leads that opt in. If you’re offering a product or service as part of a real-time campaign, you could weave in some time scarcity into your copy with something like “this offer is only available for the next three days”.</p>
<p>Whatever it is – include an authentic reason why you’re limiting the offer. And the first rule of using scarcity is to make sure it’s true. Scarcity is a powerful way to persuade, but it’s a technique that has been around for a really long time, which means customers are kind of jaded to anything that smells phoney.</p>
<p>The last thing you want to do is to lose your audience’s trust and make them feel betrayed by your false sense of urgency! So, if you are writing a completely evergreen landing page where there is no scarcity, don’t make it up.</p>
<p>Rely on one of the other powerful copy components… like this one&#8230; Authentic social proof. I do this, you do this, everyone does this — we rely on social cues from others on what to think, feel, and do in a lot of situations.</p>
<p>And not just anyone, but the people and sources that we relate to or who we feel are similar to us in some way. Social proof allays any fears or doubts your visitors have about committing to your offer, and builds authority for your brand.</p>
<p>It’s also an authentic way to get your prospects to get to know you. Because it’s so much better to have other people toot your own horn, then say how great you are yourself. Landing pages are one of your very first touch points you have with your prospects.</p>
<p>So, having social proof allows them establish a positive association with you and your brand, which increases the chances of them coming back — even if they don’t opt in that moment. So be sure to show your visitors how others have benefited from your product, service or content.</p>
<p>Gather up your best user testimonials and feature them on your landing page with permission of course. Another way to use social proof is to showcase the size of your social following, feature recent comments from your followers, or include screenshots of positive reviews that have slid into your DMs.</p>
<p>Like this one, or that one or this one. Thanks guys, right back atchya! Also, if you’ve received any press coverage, you can include an “As Seen On” logo panel or screenshots which you can link directly to an article or story.</p>
<p>Be sure to communicate social proof throughout your entire landing page, and especially right before you present the offer or call to action. And remember — use only real social proof! Stay classy, guys.</p>
<p>Okay, component number four, trust factors I have seen many landing pages that put so much focus on the design that they forget to build trust with their visitor first. So write your copy, then design a landing page to support your copy and strategically work in social proof and trust factors.</p>
<p>Some of these factors include a privacy promise on your opt-in form, a clear statement on how you’ll use your prospect’s email address and what they can expect to receive from you, and a reminder that they’re can unsubscribe or cancel at any time.</p>
<p>And, add in anything you can to let your visitors know that you’ve taken the measures to secure your landing page and that it’s completely safe for them to visit! Like using a secure domain or adding third-party trust seal to your site, such as McAfee Secure and Trusted Site.</p>
<p>Okay component number five, a crystal clear CTA. Studies have shown that you only have between 5-10 seconds to convince your visitors to stay on your page before they bounce. So it is absolutely critical that you make it clear what your offer is and how they can get it in the simplest possible way.</p>
<p>Your call to action needs to be front and center, leaving no room for confusion on where your prospect should click next. So keep your CTAs easy to spot and use. And if your landing page features a quiz or some other form of multi-step interaction — break that process into smaller steps.</p>
<p>According to Robert Cialdini in his book Influence, having your leads make a series of micro-commitments will increase their likelihood of conversion based on the principle of Commitment and Consistency.</p>
<p>So, for example, rather than have your optin form directly on the site, try having a simple button with a clear CTA. Clicking that button will be your prospects first micro-commitment. The resulting pop-up will then either ask for an optin, or take them to the first question in a quiz with each step serving as yet another micro-commitment, until ultimately asking for the email address.</p>
<p>Now, I encourage you to look for other unique ways you can employ the principle of Commitment and Consistency in your marketing. And remember, the more clicks they make, the more likely they are to optin and buy.</p>

<p>So I’ll be sure to link to that at the end of this video. And moving onto the last component, brand consistency. This is one of the biggest blindspots in marketing and you’d be amazed by how many copywriters and businesses fail to do this! Brand consistency is critical to locking down a prospect long term.</p>
<p>The market is growing more and more cautious and intolerant of any inconsistencies in the promises you make and the languaging you use. And it happens a lot, especially when there isn’t a clear brand voice communicated between the team members who are in charge of your different marketing channels and campaigns.</p>
<p>If there’s a disconnect between what your ad, or email, or content piece promises and what your landing page delivers — you might as well have a broken website because they are Xing out immediately.</p>
<p>And worst of all, you’ll lose any chance of converting that visitor into a customer. There must be congruence and overlap in messaging across all you marketing touch points leading up to your landing page and the promise you then deliver.</p>
<p>And the same rule applies to the rest of your pages, your social media accounts and your customer service. So make sure your brand has a distinct and impactful voice that can be consistently communicated across the board.</p>
<p>Alright, there you have it guys. The 6 components of a landing page that converts. Now, I know that may seem like a lot for short landing page &#8211; but keep in mind, that many of these components can be checked off the list with just a few short words.</p>
<p>So like any copy, it’s important to be concise and 100% clear on WHAT you offer. Like the famous Albert Einstein once said, if you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough. And if you don’t understand it, your audience won’t understand it.</p>

<p>What&#8217;s up? Everyone welcome to the Surfside PPC youtube channel. Today, I&#8217;m gonna be going over six landing page design tips to help you improve your conversion rates, so your landing page is going to be really important to the success of your PPC advertising campaign and really any campaign where you&#8217;re trying to drive new leads new sales and new customers, so these are gonna, be some simple design tips.</p>
<p>You can follow number one very simple focus on the headline and the subheading first. That is only what people are gonna see. First, when they do go to your landing page, so you want to make sure the headline captures their attention and you want to make sure you can promote your offer really easily and quickly to people now.</p>
<p>A major bonus here is, if you can get your headline to actually match the search term, that people are typing in. So if someone types in a specific search term, they click on your advertisement. Creating that seamless experience from the search to the advertisement, to the landing page and specifically to that headline to map the actual keyword that people are searching.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s very hard to do because it takes a lot of time to create that many landing pages. But if you can do it for some of your top keywords, it&#8217;s. Gon na help you drive more conversions at a lower cost.</p>
<p>Now let&#8217;s. Just look at a quick example here. So here&#8217;s, the landing page we&#8217;re gonna be building for this, and you can see here. I just have a fake company Surfside social, so let&#8217;s just say. For example, I have my own social media tool that I&#8217;m, trying to drive people to so they sign up.</p>
<p>So what you want to do is you want to get people to your landing page, and you can see here. My headline grow your social following, so I&#8217;ll. Go with a quick benefit, go with something that&#8217;s gonna quickly.</p>
<p>Describe the product or service or benefit that you&#8217;re really offering to people when they do visit your landing page whatever you want them to sign up for and then my subheading here is top rated social media scheduling, monitoring an analytics tool.</p>
<p>So people know exactly what they&#8217;re gonna get and the main benefit they&#8217;re. Getting from this is to grow their social following when they sign up for Surfside social. So that brings us to number two and number two is to make the action you want visitors to take as clear as possible.</p>
<p>You want your offer to be very obvious and you want to make the call-to-action stand out on the page. So for this one grow, your social audience top rated social media is scheduling, monitoring an analytics tool and you can see our call to action to start your free trial.</p>
<p>So you want to make sure you have a call to action that&#8217;s, bold. On the page, so people know exactly what action you want them to take when they do busy your landing page. This is vital because you want people to sign up for your service.</p>
<p>You want people to learn more about your products, so whatever it is number two. You want to make sure that the action you want visitors to take is very clear and your call to action on the page stands out.</p>
<p>Next is gonna be number three and number three is to sell the benefits and provide proof. So, regardless of what it is you&#8217;re selling, if it&#8217;s a product, if it&#8217;s a service, you want to make sure that you&#8217;re, showing some of these positive reviews and testimonials.</p>
<p>So people visit your page and they see that you have other happy customers. You have other people using your software or your tool or whatever it is. You&#8217;re trying to promote so here&#8217;s, our example here.</p>
<p>So at the top. We have grow your social audience, top rated social media scheduling, monitoring, analytics tool. We have your enter your email to start your free trial. Now, if this doesn&#8217;t capture people right away and a lot of times it doesn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>People want to learn more before they actually give you their email and start their free trial. Do some quick benefits? You can use images to show some of these benefits, and then you also want to use testimonials and customer reviews.</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s, just a sample 5-star customer review easy to use in great features so just make sure people understand that if they do sign up or they purchase from you &#8211; that there are gonna be some benefits and they can easily see what It is so why Surfside social try to connect with people and understand some of the problems that they&#8217;re facing when they&#8217;re.</p>
<p>Looking for a social media, marketing tool or whatever it is that you&#8217;re. Trying to target them with affordable pricing connect, all social networks engage your audience analytics dashboard. So there&#8217;s, a lot of things that people can get hung up on so use the benefits to make sure that you&#8217;re answering any of the questions that they might have when they do sign up for your software.</p>
<p>So that&#8217;s gonna be number three is to make sure you&#8217;re, showing some of these benefits and provide proof using customer reviews and it&#8217;s. The best, if you have a large number of customer reviews, think about Amazon anytime.</p>
<p>Someone looks at products on Amazon a lot of times what people are gonna purchase are the top rated products, so that&#8217;s. Gon na be number three. Okay. Next is gonna be number four and number four is going to be to use high quality images and videos.</p>
<p>So you want to use these to describe your products and services. So if it&#8217;s a product page and you can use videos to show the different angles of your product or people using your product, think about basketball, sneakers, for example, you can show the front the back the side of the shoes people can get A full 360-degree view of the basketball shoe and you can also show basketball players wearing those shoes, as they are on the court.</p>
<p>Dribbling, a basketball and maybe dunking or something along those lines. Using images and using videos can quickly provide information and it&#8217;s just another great way to sell your products and services to potential customers.</p>
<p>So essentially, what I would do in this case is how it works. You have a video here. People can watch a one to two minute, video of how the social media marketing tool works, and then the other thing you can do is use some of the images from your social media, marketing tool, use images and use videos to make sure people understand front back Side to side everything about your product, everything about your service, so, for example, one of the things that I can do is show and connect all social networks.</p>
<p>I can show all the different social networks that people connect to this social media marketing tool. I can say: connect to your Twitter account connect to your Facebook account connect to your LinkedIn account connect to Instagram connect to Pinterest.</p>
<p>So I can say this is an all-in-one social media marketing tool. You can connect every single social network you have so you can use images to show people how they can easily connect all their social networks and start scheduling and publishing some of these social media posts directly to their social media accounts.</p>
<p>So, the more that you can show people using visual images and using videos the better it&#8217;s gonna help to sell your products and services and that&#8217;s. Ultimately, your goal with a landing page is to have a call to action up at the top and make sure that your call to action is very clear to people and then show all the benefits of why people should take advantage of whatever your call to action Is now number five is gonna, be a quick and simple one, one that I&#8217;m gonna go over very quickly, but you want to make sure that your desktop and mobile designs are responsive so that it looks exactly the same.</p>
<p>No matter. The device that people are using when they do access your landing page. So if someone&#8217;s on a mobile device, you&#8217;re. Looking up social media scheduling software, they might end up converting on their desktop device later, but you want to make sure that a device does not ruin your conversion rate.</p>
<p>If you find you have a really low conversion rate for your mobile design, then you probably want to create a new design that looks as good as possible on mobile, because you don&#8217;t want a device to drag down your conversion rate and increase Your cost per conversion, so essentially, what you want to do is open your landing page on a desktop device, open it on a mobile device and make sure that, no matter what device you&#8217;re using no mad.</p>
<p>What browser you&#8217;re using that people can easily see the benefits of your products and services and easily sign up for or purchase from you directly, so that both your designs are exactly the same, because you don&#8217;t want one device To drag down your conversion rate, it&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Only gonna hurt your overall costs over time and it&#8217;s. Just gonna end up hurting your business revenue so that&#8217;s. Gon na be number five is to make sure your designs are completely responsive and do a full review on every single device that you have and using different browsers as well, because sometimes your landing page might look different in Google Chrome than it does on Safari.</p>
<p>Now, last but not least, make sure you review competitor landing pages. So this is a great design tip because you might have your landing page complete and you might be out of ideas and you can learn a lot from looking at other landing page designs.</p>
<p>So I pulled up other landing pages related to social media marketing tools. So if we come back to my final design over here, it would look something like this. Obviously, you&#8217;d, want more spacing there.</p>
<p>This is kind of a compacted version, but what I would want on my final design is a headline at the top, so some type of benefit some type of selling point and then the subheading exactly what people are gonna get.</p>
<p>I have my call to action here. You don&#8217;t have to do the email. If I do start your free trial, you can do something where it puts a form up in front of people&#8217;s face, and then you can have them fill out that form.</p>
<p>But I would want to have some videos, some images showing how it works, some of the benefits that people can take advantage of, and then what we can do is look at some of these other examples. So let&#8217;s come over here and let&#8217;s just say I come into Google.</p>
<p>I type in social media scheduling tool. You&#8217;re gonna see advertisements at the top, so all you need to do is click on some of your competitor advertisements, so we&#8217;re gonna look through some examples here.</p>

<p>So if we keep scrolling down, you&#8217;re gonna start, seeing some of the same things here so create a beautiful Instagram feed join over 2 million of the world&#8217;s, top brands agencies and influencers. So again they&#8217;re, showing proof here and they have a lot of their selling points.</p>
<p>If you do sign up for later calm. So let&#8217;s. Look at a couple more! So the next one is HootSuite, so you can see they use start your free 30-day trial as their call to action. Start your free trial connect with multiple social networks.</p>
<p>So we keep scrolling down how it saves you time. So they&#8217;re listing. Some of the benefits here, HootSuite at a glance again, some of the benefits, some of the things you can take advantage of with their platform over 18 million users, so showing some proof.</p>
<p>So you can see a lot of these landing pages. Have the same type of elements, the designs are just a little bit different, different colors different call to action. So, last but not least, what we&#8217;ll look at is sprout social calm, social media tools for business, sprout social media tools make it easy to bring large, multidisciplinary social teams together.</p>
<p>Start your free trial trusted by over twenty thousand customers. They have an image over here to show how it works, keeps going down easily manage one or many social media accounts, some of the different brands that are using it.</p>
<p>So again, you&#8217;re gonna find a lot of these same design, elements and themes on all these pages, but those are six different, landing page design tips again. You just want to have a main call to action here list.</p>
<p>The benefits show images, use video to make sure you can sell your products and services and don&#8217;t be afraid to look at some of your competitors landing pages, because if your competitors are consistently running ads to their website &#8211; and you always see them As competitors for your Google Ads account or your Facebook ads or whatever type of advertisements, you&#8217;re running, they&#8217;re, probably seeing conversions, because if they continue to spend their budget, then they&#8217;re, probably driving revenue with that Budget so look at their landing pages and look at some of the different offers that they have some of their different ways of selling their products and services and use those for your own inspiration.</p>

<p>Well that&#8217;s possible. Sure if you&#8217;re selling a product for $100, you&#8217;re not gonna get a 40% conversion rate. But let&#8217;s say you&#8217;re just starting out and collecting leads like name and email address, you can get over 40%.</p>
<p>And even if you&#8217;re selling products you can boost your conversion rates if you follow these exact tips. So tip number one, use tools like Instapage and Click Funnels. The cool part about Click Funnels and Instapage and even Lead Pages is they break down the landing pages in their system that convert to the best.</p>
<p>And they&#8217;re not making this up by saying oh this landing page converts better than this other one cause it looks cooler. They&#8217;re using data, they have so many customers, thousands and thousands if not hundreds of thousands, that they&#8217;re basing it off their existing customer base and their current conversion rates.</p>
<p>So they know all their customers are using this one landing page that&#8217;s converting better than all the other ones out there, that should tell you, hey you should start with this landing page first.</p>
<p>The second tip I have for you is have an amazing unique value proposition. Not a bullshit one like put in your name and email and I&#8217;ll send you a free pdf, or I&#8217;ll send you weekly updates. That value proposition sucks.</p>
<p>It has to be amazing. Such as, with a lot of my offers I give free courses. I give free guides that I&#8217;ve spent $30,000 creating. Now I&#8217;m a crazy person. You don&#8217;t have to go above and beyond like me, but my stuff converts better than most people.</p>
<p>Why? Because I go above and beyond. With your value proposition, it needs to resonate with people, if you&#8217;re not solving a problem that they&#8217;re facing at a really deep problem, they&#8217;re not gonna opt in or buy from you.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re just scratching the surface and you&#8217;re not breaking down why they should opt in or why they should buy your product or service and why it solves this problem they&#8217;ve had forever, they&#8217;re much less likely to buy from you.</p>
<p>So really focus on your copy. Everything that I&#8217;ve tested when it comes to landing pages copy and value proposition is one of the biggest factors that effects the conversion rate. The third tip I have for you is keep it simple silly.</p>
<p>One of my companies was called Kiss Metrics. Why? Because I found that in marketing, everyone tries to over complicate stuff. There&#8217;s no reason for it. Why not keep things super simple? For example, if you have 10 form fields, when you only need two, remove the extra stuff that you don&#8217;t need.</p>
<p>If you have tons of copy and you&#8217;re saying the same stuff over and over again, remove the fluff. Get to the point. Landing pages that are super simple tend to convert better than long ones that go on and on and ramble.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m not saying you should have short landing pages. Instead what I&#8217;m saying is you should get to the point. If you need to have a longer landing page because it helps you answer objections, objections are concerns people have before they opt in or buy from you, then that&#8217;s fine, have a long landing page.</p>
<p>But get to the point and remove the fluff. That&#8217;s called keeping it simple, right. You don&#8217;t want really fluffy long landing pages that go on and on like I am right now with this point, because you&#8217;re gonna lose people.</p>
<p>The fourth tip I have for you is show social proof. There are so many different versions of social proof. They could be testimonials, they could be case studies, it could be results that other people are experiencing, it could even be videos.</p>
<p>I was talking to a buddy Sam Evans, and he has this website called consulting.com, he has over 3,000 video testimonials. That&#8217;s crazy, that&#8217;s a shit ton of social proof. There are so many different variations that you could use.</p>
<p>It depends, based on the type of landing page you have and the business you have. So if you&#8217;re unsure on the best type of social proof, for your landing page, leave a comment below on what you&#8217;re thinking, and I&#8217;ll respond back on if I think that&#8217;s good or if that&#8217;s bad or if you should be doing something else instead.</p>
<p>The fifth tip I have for you is to create a video. Not everyone enjoys reading. Some people love looking at pictures. But a picture isn&#8217;t gonna cause tons more people to convert. You need a video that should explain everything that they&#8217;re gonna get when they opt in, or buy your product, or sign up for your service.</p>
<p>That video should be short and to the point. Under three minutes, ideally under one minute, but worse case under three minutes. It should answer any objections people have before they sign up or buy from you.</p>
<p>And it should describe everything in a logical order. You don&#8217;t wanna be bouncing around and making your video pitch really confusing. And when you do videos, what you&#8217;ll find is, it can sometimes decrease your conversions.</p>
<p>But the quality of the customer that you end up generating is much better and they tend to spend more over the lifetime value. So you have to test video. So follow those tips, you&#8217;re gonna have an amazing landing page that&#8217;s gonna convert better.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re collecting emails you should be over 40%. If you&#8217;re selling a product, depending on how targeted the traffic is, you could be at numbers like three, four, five, and sometimes upwards at 10% depending on the price point.</p>

<p>Let&#8217;s dive in hey. There welcome I&#8217;m West McDowell. Web strategist for the deep end, and if you&#8217;re, not subscribed to the channel, yet we do two new videos a week and just click the subscribe button and a little bell icon next to it.</p>
<p>So you never miss another video. You need to succeed online now. The right landing page strategy can be a huge difference maker in your business, because it can attract the right kinds of customers to the exact right offer for them.</p>
<p>For example, if you&#8217;re, a service business that offers different kinds of services like let&#8217;s, say you&#8217;re a contractor. You may offer bathroom remodels kitchen remodels, so in that case you don&#8217;t want all those people finding you just through your homepage.</p>
<p>What you&#8217;d rather have is people finding you through dedicated landing pages that closely aligned with what they&#8217;re. Looking for, I&#8217;m going to talk about landing pages. This can also refer to a dedicated page.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s, all about just getting an email, opt-in in exchange for a lead, magnet or if your business offers one kind of overarching product or service like if you&#8217;re a plumber or like a recent client in mind, a wedding band, Then you can absolutely apply this to your home page as well.</p>
<p>In any case, there are certain best practices that you should really adhere to. If you want to convert the most number of site visitors into paying customers, or at least to get them as warm leads. If your goal is an opt-in list, so first things first and that&#8217;s, keep it simple by using the rule of one in the rule of one.</p>
<p>You want to think about one message: one offer and one call-to-action per page: most businesses just say way too much on their websites, and your landing pages are definitely no place for that. It&#8217;s. Why we have a landing page strategy at all.</p>
<p>You know to compartmentalize all those different services or products or offerings into their own pages. So for each landing page you&#8217;re planning. You want to focus on one core offer, whether that&#8217;s, a service you provide or a product.</p>
<p>You sell or a lead, magnet and exchange for that email address or even just a special deal, and the message need to be talking all about that one offer not about the history of the company or about the charity work you do on the side.</p>
<p>Just that offer &#8211; and there needs to be one super clear, call-to-action button which provides a clear path of what they need to do next, alright. Next, I want to talk about the five-second rule and I&#8217;m, not talking about eating dirty food off of the floor here.</p>
<p>This has more to do with the fact that people have very limited attention spans because our brains are pretty much hardwired to really only pay attention to information that benefits us and that we don&#8217;t have to burn too much energy to comprehend.</p>
<p>So, for those reasons, your website needs to communicate really clearly the following three things in less than five seconds. First, it has to tell people what it is. You provide how that makes their lives better and then what do they need to do to get it? Not only does that have to happen in the first five seconds and also now step in at the very top of the page, without them scrolling down.</p>
<p>You know I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve heard the term above the fold that just refers to all the real estate. That&#8217;s above the point on the page where you have to scroll down, and there&#8217;s, a lot of debate on this. You know yet people are conditioned to the internet and websites and they know that there&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Information below the fold and they will scroll down, but only if those three questions are answered and in such a way that makes them want to know more okay, so the next element of a high converting landing page is conveying your three key benefits.</p>
<p>One of my favorite tricks &#8211; and I work on any web project &#8211; is to come up with those top three benefits, or you can think of them as perks that your customers get when they work with you and benefits.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t mean features. One of my favorite examples of this is from Apple. You know everybody loves to use Apple as the example, but this is when the iPod first came out. You know they could have very easily went into all the tech specs of you know.</p>
<p>This thing has a gigabyte of of storage on it, but they knew that wouldn&#8217;t really mean much to the customer, so instead they framed it as a thousand songs in your pocket. You know the storage capacity is the feature, but the ability of the customer to walk around with a thousand songs in their pocket.</p>
<p>Now that&#8217;s a benefit that they care about and coming up with, these benefits is actually easier than you think. So. First of all, think of the features you provide, your customers that may be your competition, doesn&#8217;t, or maybe they do, but they aren&#8217;t talking about it.</p>
<p>So think of those features then ask yourself: what&#8217;s? The benefit that results from that feature you know, fill in the blank like this. We offer feature a so you can dot dot dot. For instance, if you were an installer of vinyl patios, you know the fact that they&#8217;re more durable than wood.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s, a feature, but the benefit is they&#8217;re maintenance-free and you never have to stain or paint them for the lifetime of the product. So come up with those three benefits. You know three is just kind of that magic number that looks good on a page and doesn&#8217;t, feel overwhelming name.</p>
<p>Each benefit with a headline give it a really short description like a sentence or less, and then you&#8217;re, going to want to use some kind of an icon or a photo to go along with it, to make it more visually.</p>
<p>Appealing and understandable. At a glance you know people do more skimming of websites than actually reading them, so the visual cues go a long way there. The next element of a really highly converting landing page that I highly recommend you try to do this year, is a really short video that clearly establishes the problem you solve how you solve it, how that helps your customers life for the better and what&#8217;s to be lost by your customer if they don&#8217;t go with your solution and they go with another solution or choose nothing at all.</p>
<p>It only needs to be around 60 seconds and it should tell that complete story from start to finish. Really emphasizing the transformation that occurs from before your customer found you to the happier after state and just go ahead and end the video with a really clear call to action, and it should be the same call to action that you use everywhere else.</p>
<p>On that page. All right number, five is social proof, so every good landing page needs either a testimonial or a case study featuring somebody who has already gone through that transformation that we just talked about.</p>
<p>Now. Videos tend to work best here. They just connect better than anything else. You can also use you know. Text-Based testimonials just be sure to include a real photo of the subject it shouldn&#8217;t, be too long, just a few sentences max, because again, people are skimming and not really reading, so, basically just making a few sentences long and it should still within Those few sentences tell that story of where they were before they found you finding you and then what their results look like after the fact, all right number six is a features list.</p>
<p>So I we talked a lot about. You know emphasizing benefits over features, which is all that everything we&#8217;ve talked about so far appeals much more to the emotional side. You know because if you know anything about marketing, most people make their buying decisions based purely on emotion.</p>
<p>But this is the section that lets them. Actually, you know justify that decision with a more logical point of view. So for this all, I really recommend is just a simple bullet list which talks about all the nuts and bolts things they get included.</p>
<p>With going with your service, you know things like a dedicated customer service, rep or pick-up and drop-off service. One little thing I like to do here that I think makes a difference psychologically is rather than using just circle bullets I like to use check marks.</p>
<p>You know in their mind, these are just things they can check off and it really emphasizes what they &amp; #. 39 re getting from going with you versus just kind of a random list of features all right. <p>&#8211; I can look at a landing page right away and know that it&#8217;s not going to convert. On the flip side, I can also look at a landing page and know if it&#8217;s going to convert exceptionally well. Hi everyone, I&#8217;m Neil Patel.</p>
<p>And today, I&#8217;m going to share with you the anatomy of a high converting landing page. (gentle melodic music) Before we get started, make sure you subscribe to this channel. And if you&#8217;re on YouTube, click the alert notification.</p>
<p>that way, when I release more videos and more tips, you&#8217;ll get notified. So do you want to know the secret to really high converting landing page? There&#8217;s a formula, and I&#8217;m about to share it with you.</p>
<p>And as long as you follow the formula step by step, you should produce better results. But the moment you don&#8217;t follow the formula step by step, you&#8217;ll notice that your conversions are going to tank and your landing pages won&#8217;t do well.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s get started. The first thing you need to do is clearly state your value proposition in a header. And this is important, a lot of people, like yeah, I&#8217;ll state the value proposition somewhere on the page.</p>
<p>No. The attention span of a human is less than a goldfish. In other words, if you can&#8217;t catch their attention in the headline, you&#8217;re screwed. Eight out of 10 people will read your headline, but only two of the 10 will read the rest of the copy on the page.</p>
<p>In other words, your headline is either going to make it where people will read the rest of your content, or you&#8217;re going to lose them. So if you can create amazing headline with your value proposition, you can attract people to read the rest of your page.</p>
<p>Now, the best tip that I can give you, because everyone&#8217;s going to have a different value proposition, is make sure your headline is something bold, you&#8217;re making a statement, it&#8217;s short, and to the point.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t want something that&#8217;s run-on. If you can do that, short, to the point, you&#8217;re making a statement, something bold, and ideally seven, eight words max. Maybe around six words ideally, you&#8217;ll do much better.</p>
<p>The moment it&#8217;s too run-on, you&#8217;re going to lose people. The second step you need in your landing page is a visual focus. Whether it&#8217;s a head shot, product shot, a video, some sort of visual focus where people can put all their attention to.</p>
<p>See, the moment someone goes through a headline, they read it, you need to grab their attention with a visual, and you need to get them to keep going. If you just have text and only text, and no visuals that people can watch, you&#8217;ll find that the conversions aren&#8217;t as great.</p>
<p>The higher quality you produce, the better off you are. The third thing you need is to outline the features and benefits. But it&#8217;s not just about feature, you need to more so focus on the benefits.</p>
<p>So the features are there because if you don&#8217;t talk about the features, you&#8217;re not going to get as many conversions. But the benefits are the key. People don&#8217;t buy something because of features, they buy because of the benefit.</p>
<p>Typically, benefits are the solution to their problem. Such as saves you time, saves you money. If the benefits aren&#8217;t there, and they&#8217;re not clearly stated, you&#8217;re not going to do well. And you don&#8217;t want to just state any benefits.</p>
<p>Like whatever you think is the benefits of the product or service. You want to talk to your ideal customers. Find out the problems that they&#8217;re facing. Ideally, your product or solution should solve those problems.</p>
<p>And that should be the benefit. How you&#8217;re solving the problems. Don&#8217;t talk about how you solve X, Y, and Z problem, it&#8217;s more so like, if something takes a lot of time for people, you can say, on average, this saves three hours, right? You&#8217;re letting them know the benefit.</p>
<p>The fourth step is presenting a single and focused call to action. A lot of people are like, &#8220;Oh, I&#8217;ve got a landing page. &#8220;I&#8217;m going to put a call to action everywhere.&#8221; You could do that.</p>
<p>And for some products, it works. But not for most. The reason you want to have a single, focused call to action, and eventually after that one call to action, you can have more later down, but when you have your headline, your visual focus, you&#8217;re talking about your benefits, your solutions, you&#8217;re answering the objections.</p>
<p>Once someone gets the whole story and they understand why they should be buying your product or service, and then you have a call to action. They&#8217;re much more likely to convert. What most people like doing is saying, &#8220;Hey, here&#8217;s what I&#8217;m selling.</p>
<p>&#8221; And above the fold, they just put a call to action, like click this, here&#8217;s some more details, click this, here&#8217;s some more details, click this. And what you&#8217;ll find is someone doesn&#8217;t get the full picture, so then when they go to the checkout page, or the lead form page, the conversion from visitor to filling out the lead.</p>
<p>or visitor to checking out, is much lower. It&#8217;s not about getting the most amount of people to your checkout or lead form pages. It&#8217;s about getting the highest number of completions. So yeah, you may not get as many clicks, but if everyone who visits those pages converts, you could be better off.</p>
<p>And that&#8217;s why you want to answer all the objections, the benefits, have your main heading, have your main visual focus, and then go into your call to action. Versus just being like &#8220;Hey, &#8220;land on my landing page, &#8220;you came here, click this and buy right away.</p>
<p>&#8221; because most people are going to be like, &#8220;Sorry, see you later.&#8221; The fifth thing you want to do is include testimonials and other visual proof. I love doing reviews, whether it&#8217;s a service or a product.</p>
<p>Reviews are amazing. A reason a reviews is amazing is people know the truth. How they feel, how they don&#8217;t feel, if it&#8217;s great or if it&#8217;s bad. And by including that, they can then get a better sense if it&#8217;s right for them, or if it&#8217;s not a good fit for them.</p>
<p>The sixth thing you need to do is give a guarantee. Whether you&#8217;re doing a free trial with no credit card, so there&#8217;s low risk, or you&#8217;re giving a 30 day or 60 day money-back guarantee, those are awesome things.</p>
<p>You want people to feel comfortable. If they&#8217;re not happy, you know you&#8217;re going to end up refunding them anyways. If you don&#8217;t, in the long run, it&#8217;s going to tarnish your brand. Look, we&#8217;re not all perfect.</p>
<p>We all get complaints, even I do. And when we do, what do you try to do? You solve them. That&#8217;s why the guarantee&#8217;s important. Because the moment you can solve these problems for people, and show that you&#8217;re there and you care, they&#8217;re more likely to convert.</p>
<p>The last step, integrate story telling into your landing page. If you don&#8217;t integrate story telling, you&#8217;ll find that your conversions won&#8217;t do as well. People love soap operas. Whether you like them personally or not, people do.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s why they&#8217;re on television 24-seven. If you can integrate story telling, take people through the emotional roller coasters, the ups, the downs, they&#8217;re much more likely to convert. It&#8217;s all about the story.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s that thousand-plus year old marketing technique that we all tend to forget. But it&#8217;s worked for so many years, and it&#8217;ll still keep working, no matter what channels are out there, no matter what algorithm updates happen.</p>

So you&#8217;re going to make a landing page to capture contact information and allow people to get that coupon, discount, or promotion.</p>
<p>So we&#8217;re going to build that in three minutes, or less. Alright, let&#8217;s show you how to do it. &#8211; Start the timer. &#8211; [Dan] So first, Ernest is going to into campaigns, he&#8217;s gonna create and edit a new campaign as he&#8217;s in the campaign builder he just has to drag out that landing page node.</p>
<p>Now the great thing about the landing page builder is that we&#8217;ve put a lot of fantastic templates in here and the goal was to minimize how much time you&#8217;re spending creating something from scratch because you have something that fits what your needs are.</p>
<p>So you&#8217;re gonna show others how to market their business and you&#8217;ve chosen a template that says &#8211; [Ernest] Maximize Your Marketing Strategy. &#8211; [Dan] Boom! Now it looks like you&#8217;re naming your page.</p>
<p>The cool thing about the landing page builder at the bottom you can see your progress and the steps that you&#8217;re in. And to move through steps, you just click on next step or back. Now, the goal for Ernest here is to simply edit and customize this template to fit what he&#8217;s building or he&#8217;s doing, and the great thing is, you don&#8217;t have to do a lot, you just have to change the text, change maybe some of the images.</p>
<p>The research that we&#8217;ve done on how these pages are built is to really make a compelling page that converts people. So it looks like he&#8217;s gonna add a picture here. Oh, add a logo. &#8211; [Ernest] Alright, looks good.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s not my phone number (laughter) As a matter of fact, I prefer not to have a phone number. &#8211; [Dan] Yeah. &#8211; [Ernest] There we go. &#8211; [Dan] So quickly delete sections as well. So Ernest, you&#8217;re editing the copy right now, walk me through what&#8217;s going through your mind as you&#8217;re building this.</p>
<p>&#8211; [Ernest] So, it&#8217;s already designed in a way to where it&#8217;s kinda got the elements that I need. It&#8217;s got the call to action up top which is definitely something that you want. It&#8217;s got some copy in there already, and then on here it&#8217;s giving me the ability to show someone what they&#8217;re actually gonna get out of working with me.</p>
<p>&#8211; Gotchya. &#8211; So all I really need to do is modify the copy a little bit and then if I&#8217;d like to change the images, I can do that. For example, this image right here may not apply to me or even this one may not apply to me.</p>
<p>So I can tap it here and I&#8217;m gonna go ahead and replace that image and I don&#8217;t necessarily have one that might work so I&#8217;m going to see if the gallery has anything for me. &#8211; [Dan] So while you&#8217;re doing that Ernest, the great thing is we have a bunch of royalty free images on the gallery so you can choose from a plethora of different things that really fit your needs.</p>
<p>&#8211; [Ernest] Perfect, and I found something that actually works great in this case. So Build Your Site is the content I went with, and I&#8217;ve got a neat little laptop here that shows new products so that actually works out pretty well for me.</p>
<p>I think I&#8217;m ready to go. &#8211; [Dan] Awesome, let&#8217;s do this, let&#8217;s launch this! &#8211; [Ernest] Alright. I think I&#8217;m gonna keep the Thank You page as is &#8211; [Both] And? &#8211; Ready to go live? &#8211; Here I go.</p>

<p>Without any further ado, let&#8217;s. Get right into the video in this video. I&#8217;m gonna show you how you can create a landing page and start building an email list completely for free. Ok. So I&#8217;m. Essentially, going to show you how you can start building a real business, even if you don&#8217;t, have any money to get started with.</p>
<p>So if you&#8217;re excited about learning, this, please make sure to leave a like, because it really helps me out, and I appreciate it a lot and make sure to watch this video all the way to the end, because I&#8217;m Gon na show you how to create one of these landing pages and what we&#8217;re gonna use to be able to do this completely for free in this video, I&#8217;m gonna show you how to create a very simple Two-Step, opt-in, funnel that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Gon na allow you to collect emails for whatever niche you&#8217;re in and start monetizing. Your email list, okay, and you&#8217;re gonna be able to do this completely for free. So the first thing that you need to do is you need to go to evergreen marketers com forward.</p>

<p>Our list. Ok, so this is not only gonna, be our landing page software, but it&#8217;s also going to be our email marketing provider. Okay, so you can get everything in one completely for free now, before I show you how to actually create one of these two-step opt-in funnels that&#8217;s, really really easy to do.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s, go through what you actually receive with convertkit on their free plan. Okay, so, as you can see, convertkit actually has a free plan right here, and this is what you get. You get an unlimited amount of landing pages.</p>
<p>You get unlimited, customizable, CTA and signup forms you get 30 plus premium landing page templates. You can send an unlimited amount of traffic. You can create a custom domain which we can talk more about this later on.</p>
<p>The video you get mobile, responsive designs and you can collect up to a thousand email subscribers completely for free okay. So this is huge right here. You can essentially start a real business where you are collecting emails.</p>
<p>While you&#8217;re building your audience and doing it completely for free, and once you build up an email list where you&#8217;re monetizing it and you&#8217;re starting to make some money with it, you can then upgrade to The paid plan with convertkit, which is gonna, allow you to unlock more advanced features that can help you automate your business, more okay, but for right now, if you&#8217;re completely strapped for cash, and you want to figure out how you can get A business up and running without any investment whatsoever.</p>

<p>Gon na help you create your two-step opt-in, fun. Okay, so I&#8217;m gonna select one right now and then we&#8217;re gonna build out a very, very simple two-step, opt-in, funnel that&#8217;s. Gon na help you collect emails and start building your business and email lists.</p>
<p>Okay, so I want something really really simple: when it comes to landing pages and opt-in funnels the simpler they, they are, the better they they perform, usually okay. So I want something really really easy that I can send someone to, and I know that the sole goal that I want them to do is to give me their email address.</p>
<p>Okay, so something like this looks perfect. What I&#8217;m gonna do when I find a template that I like is. I&#8217;m just gonna click on shoes, and the great thing about convertkit is that you can actually build out your two-step opt-in funnel before you even create your free account with convertkit, so you can actually create it and then, when you&#8217;re ready to start using it that when convertkit is gonna prompt you to create your completely free account, okay.</p>
<p>So this is a very, very simple page. Okay, and when somebody clicks on this button here it&#8217;s. Gon na take him to another page that is identical to this one, and that&#8217;s, where they&#8217;re gonna enter in their email.</p>
<p>Okay. So when it comes to an opt-in funnel, there needs to be an exchange of value, meaning that no one&#8217;s. Gon na give you their email. Unless you&#8217;re, giving them something or you&#8217;re, offering them something that they&#8217;re, potentially interested in okay.</p>
<p>So what you need to give away is usually what we call a freebie. Now a freebie can be anything, it can be an e-book, it can be a PDF, it can be an mp3, it could be a cheat sheet, it could be a checklist, it could be a webinar, it could be a video course.</p>
<p>It really doesn&#8217;t matter. What you want to do is you want to give away something for free in exchange for somebody&#8217;s, email and ultimately, the free thing that you&#8217;re. Giving away is an introduction that&#8217;s, going to lead to the product that you&#8217;re selling, whether you&#8217;re selling, your own product or whether you&#8217;re selling, an affiliate product.</p>
<p>You want your free thing to tie in with whatever product you&#8217;re, ultimately selling okay. So I have already a PDF that I&#8217;m gonna use here as an example, and I&#8217;ve chosen an e-book in the ketogenic diet, niche okay.</p>
<p>Now you can find all different types of freebies on the internet. Okay. So if you go to, for example, the Clickbank a lot of products here on Clickbank, if you go to their affiliate resources right here, a lot of these products will already have ebooks or PDFs that you can use as a lead, magnet to start building your email List: okay, if you don&#8217;t find anything on Clickbank.</p>
<p>You can also go to a website called ID PLR com. I&#8217;m gonna put a link to this down in the description as well, and this is essentially a website where you can download the licensing rights for different digital products.</p>
<p>So here you can find ebooks courses and a lot of these products will actually give you the ability, once you download the rights to use them as a lead, magnet as something that you can use to build your email list.</p>
<p>Okay, so I really don&#8217;t want you to over complicate too much the lead, magnet or the free thing that you&#8217;re gonna give away in exchange. For somebody&#8217;s email. You want to make sure that you get something up and running something that you think your audience would like, and you can always change it right.</p>
<p>You can always test something new, but the goal is to start building your email list so that you can start emailing. Your list and and you can start growing &#8211; that relationship okay, so I&#8217;m gonna go back to convertkit here and we&#8217;re gonna start designing this page all right.</p>
<p>So the first thing I want to change is obviously this image right here. So what I&#8217;m gonna do is I&#8217;m, going to click on it and I&#8217;m gonna go to replace now here you have a few options. You can either upload an image that you already have or that you&#8217;ve created or you can use this feature inside of convertkit called unsplash, and here you have access to a ton of royalty-free images.</p>
<p>So what I&#8217;m gonna. Do is I&#8217;m just gonna click on ketogenic, okay, and I want to see &#8211; or maybe kedo since they don&#8217;t have anything here, and I want to find an image that would resonate with what it is that I&#8217;m giving away okay, so I&#8217;m gonna try and find an image that I like okay, so something like this, for example &#8211; and this is gonna &#8211; be the start of my landing page.</p>
<p>Okay. At this point, we&#8217;re, just gonna come down here and, as you can see, this is very intuitive. It&#8217;s very easy to edit. You just click on it. You can highlight it, you can delete it and you can now start typing in so what I want to put here is a headline write, a headline that&#8217;s gonna make people interested in what it is that I&#8217;m, giving Away for free, okay, so in my case I&#8217;m, giving away an e-book that is giving people around about 20 different recipes for free with for the ketogenic diet.</p>
<p>Okay, so I want to create a headline around that that&#8217;s gonna peak somebody&#8217;s, curiosity and make them want to enter in their email for that free, ebook. Okay, so I&#8217;m. Just gonna write something here and then I&#8217;m gonna show you what it is that I&#8217;ve come up with all right, so this is the headline that I&#8217;ve come up with.</p>
<p>It says. Free ebook reveals nineteen plus dumped for you, kitto friendly recipes to help you lose weight without giving up the foods. You love okay, so really really simple headline all you need to do at this point.</p>
<p>Is you want to edit this part right here? Okay, so you want to say something like in order to get access to the free ebook. Simply, okay, simply click the button below and enter your email. Okay, you want to edit the button as well, so just click on it.</p>
<p>You can highlight the text and you can put something else to say like yes, I want the free, ebook, okay and if you want to change the color, it&#8217;s really really simple. So if I want to change the color here on the button, I can just go to background color and I can now move this around right.</p>
<p>So if I want to make this, let&#8217;s say a blue okay! Let&#8217;s say I like this blue. I can now change it. If I want to change the font color inside of the text on the specific button, I can do that here. If I want to make the text bold, I can go to font weight and just click on bold, okay, and if I want to change the font for the entire landing page, I can come here to this sort of ones icon, and I can now change the Headings right so let&#8217;s say I want a different font.</p>
<p>Maybe I want this one here. I can add that if I want the body as well to have the same font, I can scroll through here and click on that as well. If I want the form to have the same phone, I can change all the font here.</p>
<p>Okay and you can obviously change the background color. So if I want to change the background color, I can do that right. So if, as you can see here now change the background color, I&#8217;m gonna leave it as it was so something like that.</p>
<p>Okay and if you want to change the background color of the form itself, you can do that right here. Okay, so it&#8217;s, really really simple. So essentially, here we&#8217;ve created the first part of our two-step opt-in funnel, and all you want to do now.</p>
<p>Is you want to click on this thing here that click to edit step two, and this is going to take you to the actual email forum right? So when you click on this, you now have to do the same sort of thing.</p>
<p>You want to change the picture, put a headline, and now people here have the option to enter their email address and when they do that they&#8217;re gonna be added to your email list inside of convertkit okay.</p>
<p>So let me show you very quickly how we can edit a page like this alright. So this is the second step of the opt-in final. Okay, so, as you can see, all I&#8217;ve done. Is I&#8217;ve just added in the same picture that we had in the previous step right here? Okay and then I just entered in here some text that says enter your best email address below to get the free ebook.</p>
<p>Once you enter your email below, you will get instant access to your done for you keto recipe ebook and then here they can enter in their email. Then I put the same color on this button as I have on the previous one, just for congruence and some branding, and then it says, send me the free, ebook, okay and that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>It you&#8217;ve, now designed a very, very simple, opt-in, funnel, and at this point all you want to do. Is you want to name it? Okay, so you might put in like the product that you&#8217;re, promoting or maybe a specific list, or it&#8217;s, just a name to help.</p>
<p>You remember what this landing page is for, so I might put in something like keto and then you&#8217;re, going to click on safe, okay, and when you do that, now is the time where you&#8217;re gonna create your free Convertkit account, so all you&#8217;re gonna put in is your email and your password, and you&#8217;re gonna click on create your account, and at this point I&#8217;m, going to show you once you&#8217;ve created your convertkit account and you&#8217;ve logged in how you can actually finish setting up all of this, because we want to make sure that when people actually enter their email, they then receive a confirmation email where they can download that free Ebook right because you need to give them what you promised okay, so I&#8217;m gonna show you very very quickly it&#8217;s super easy.</p>
<p>How you can do this inside of convertkit once you&#8217;ve created your account. Alright, so once you&#8217;ve created your free account. You should come to a page like this now to go to the landing page that you just created.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re, just gonna go to the main menu and click on landing pages and forms, and here you should see the landing page you just created with the title that you gave it. So this is the landing page that I created and, as you can see it&#8217;s, the same one that we just did a second ago.</p>
<p>Ok, now at this point, what do you need to do? Well, there are a few things. Ok, so the first thing is: you want to go to this email icon right here and you want to actually upload your free giveaway here inside of convertkit.</p>
<p>So in my case I have an e-book and it&#8217;s. A PDF file that I can actually upload directly onto convertkit, but if your PDF file or if your free thing that you&#8217;re, giving away is hosted somewhere else on some other website.</p>
<p>You can simply just add in the URL right here and when convertkit sends your incentive email, which we&#8217;re, going to talk about right now when somebody clicks the button inside of that incentivised email it&#8217;s automatically gonna send them To your free giveaway, okay, so all I&#8217;m gonna do here is I&#8217;m just gonna click on download and now I can actually choose a file and upload it directly from my computer.</p>
<p>Ok, so I have my PDF right here. I&#8217;m just gonna upload this right here inside of convertkit and now convertkit is essentially hosting my PDF file. Okay. So at this point, once we have that free thing inside of convertkit, how do we actually deliver it to people? Well, it&#8217;s very, very simple.</p>
<p>What we need to do is we need to go right here to edit emails content, and what this is is an incentive email and the reason why we want to have this is because a lot of people when they go to landing pages and they&#8217;re asked to enter in an email.</p>
<p>Sometimes they put fake information. I&#8217;m sure you &#8216; Ve done it. I know if I &#8216; Ve done it in the past and in order to mitigate that to make sure that you don&#8217;t have fake or spammy emails inside of your email list.</p>
<p>What you do is you send an incentive, email, and this email is essentially confirming that people actually want to be added to your list. So if somebody entered in a fake email, they would never receive this confirmation, which means they would never be added to your email lists.</p>
<p>Okay, so it just makes sure that you get real emails and then the quality of your email list is a lot higher. Okay, so to do this, you&#8217;re, just gonna make sure that you tick on send incentive email, and all you want to do.</p>
<p>Is you want to edit the emails content? Okay, so let me make sure that I clarify when this email is gonna be sent okay. So when somebody comes to your landing page right here, okay and they click on this button &#8211; and they go to step number two and they enter in their email and they click on.</p>
<p>Send me. The free ebook convertkit will now send them this incentive, email and inside of this email. You can actually add in your free thing so that when they get this email and as you can see here, there&#8217;s a button right here when they get this email and they click on this button.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s automatically going to download your free giveaway okay. So let me go through what I&#8217;ve, actually written inside of this email, so it&#8217;s very simple: it&#8217;s, a very simple email that you just want to make sure you get right to the point you tell People what they can expect from you, how often you&#8217;re gonna email them? What sort of content you&#8217;re gonna email them and then obviously you give them access to the free thing that you promised them? Okay, so the subject line is right: here I have a typo, you&#8217;re free done-for-you, keto recipe, ebook very, very simple, and it says: hey it&#8217;s Mickey here.</p>
<p>Thank you so much for requesting a copy of the done-for-you keto recipe book. I know this is going to be one of the most valuable ebooks you&#8217;ve ever learned from to download the e-book. All you need to do is click the download, the done-for-you keto recipe book here button below and that&#8217;s, it okay.</p>
<p>So when they click on this button, it&#8217;s. Gon na do two things: it&#8217;s. Gon na confirm their email subscription and it&#8217;s. Also gonna automatically download that PDF that we just uploaded onto convertkit, then I go on to saying clicking this button below will also confirm your subscription.</p>
<p>So I let them know to my mailing list, where I&#8217;m, going to deliver you some really valuable content on the ketogenic diet and some more awesome weekly recipes. Obviously you&#8217;re gonna put in whatever it is that whatever niche you&#8217;re in and whatever content, you&#8217;re gonna be sending people.</p>
<p>This is just an example. Obviously the three emails I&#8217;ll, be sending you a lot. We&#8217;ll help. You lose weight faster than ever before, without giving up the foods you love, but for now just enjoy the free ebook.</p>
<p>Okay, speak soon Mickey and then I always put in this PS. Okay, this is really important. It&#8217;s. Gon na help make sure that your emails get delivered to people&#8217;s. Inboxes, okay, I say PS, make sure to whitelist this email and add it to your favorites.</p>
<p>So you don&#8217;t miss a beat okay. So when somebody adds your email to that to their favorites, it makes sure that it automatically gets sent to their inbox each and every single time. Because when you whitelist an email, you&#8217;re, essentially telling your email provider that you want to receive.</p>
<p>Those emails in your inbox, so you don&#8217;t, want them to go to the promotion folder or you don&#8217;t want them to go to the spam folder. You want them in the inbox. Okay and once you&#8217;ve done that you&#8217;re, just gonna click on save and that&#8217;s, it okay.</p>
<p>So what we&#8217;ve done now is we&#8217;ve now actually uploaded our free giveaway. We&#8217;ve, made sure that we&#8217;ve written our an incentive email, our confirmation, email and the last thing we need to do is we need to actually add a thank-you page that is going to tell people where what they should expect.</p>
<p>Next right, so in that thank-you page when somebody enters in their email here, they&#8217;re gonna get sent to a thank-you page that&#8217;s. Gon na tell them they&#8217;re gonna receive a confirmation, email soon and to make sure to check their inbox right, because if they don&#8217;t confirm their email subscription.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re, not gonna get that email subscriber. Okay, so it&#8217;s very, very important, so I&#8217;m gonna show you very quickly how to do this right now, all right, so the last thing you need to do is create a thank-you page and in order to do this Is very simple: okay! What you&#8217;re gonna do! Is you&#8217;re gonna come right up here to this plus sign and you&#8217;re gonna click on it and it&#8217;s automatically.</p>
<p>Gon na add in a thank-you page for you now. Why is this page important? Well, because when somebody enters in their email here on step, two and they click on, send me the free ebook. Now they&#8217;re, expecting probably to click on this button and download that ebook right there and then so.</p>
<p>On the Thank You page. You want to make sure that you let them know where they&#8217;re gonna get that ebook and it&#8217;s gonna be in the confirmation email that we just created a second ago. Okay, so all you&#8217;re gonna do on this page.</p>
<p>Is you can see it&#8217;s very simple? You&#8217;re, just gonna put in the say, exact image that we had on all the other pages right and then you&#8217;re gonna put in a little bit of text here and you&#8217;re gonna tell Them you know you, you&#8217;re gonna receive a confirmation, email in about five minutes or so make sure to check your inbox inside of that email.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re gonna have a button where you can click on it and you&#8217;re gonna be able to download your free ebook and then tell them what they can expect from. You write what sort of content you&#8217;re gonna be sending them.</p>
<p>How often you&#8217;re gonna be emailing them right. Just make sure that you give them a heads up on where they can download the free thing they just opted in for and then what sort of content they can expect from you? Okay, so that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>All you&#8217;re gonna. Do with this Thank You page. It&#8217;s very, very simple! Alright, once you setup your Thank You page, there&#8217;s. One final thing: you want to do. Okay, you want to come back to your main opt-in, page right here.</p>
<p>You want to go to this gear icon and you want to make sure that you tell convertkit that when a visitor subscribes to the page or subscribe to your email list, okay, you want to redirect the traffic to the Thank You page, because by default it&#8217;s, gonna be show a success message you don&#8217;t want that you want to redirect the traffic to the Thank You page that you just created.</p>
<p>Okay, so that&#8217;s, it that&#8217;s, the entire setup! Now one final thing I want to talk about is custom domain. So if you want to host this landing page on a custom domain to give you you know obviously branding it&#8217;s better, to have your own domain, you can set this up right here.</p>
<p>So just click on set up a custom domain. In your account settings just click on this link here and it&#8217;s. Gon na walk you through how to do that. You obviously need to have your own domain so that&#8217;s. Gon na cost you some money and you don&#8217;t, have your own hosting provider.</p>
<p>I usually suggest to use Sai crowns. You&#8217;re gonna find a link to that down in the description, and you can literally get started for about forty dollars per year. Okay, so that&#8217;s extremely cheap. That&#8217;s.</p>
<p>If you want to have your own custom domain, which I personally do suggest to you, okay, apart from that you&#8217;ve, now created a landing page and an opt-in funnel where you can start driving traffic to it.</p>
<p>You can start collecting emails and you can start building your email list and you can start emailing your list and monetizing it with your own products or affiliate products. Okay, so at this point all you need to do is you need to drive as much traffic as you can to your two-step opt-in funnel and to do that? You&#8217;re.</p>
<p>Just gonna go right up here to share and you&#8217;re gonna copy this link, and this is the link that you want to be driving traffic to. So if I go ahead and click on share and I copy this link and then I go to a new tab, this is how our landing page looks like okay.</p>
<p>So when you send people to this link, this is where they&#8217;re gonna go you now. If they click on this, obviously they&#8217;re gonna go to the second page. They&#8217;re gonna enter in their email and they&#8217;re now inside of your email list.</p>
<p>Obviously, if they confirm that that email subscription, okay and that&#8217;s, how simple it is for you to go out there and start building a real business where you&#8217;re building an audience, and you&#8217;re building an asset That you own, which is your email list, and you can start doing this for completely free okay.</p>

<p>You&#8217;re driving traffic to your website, or even worse you&#8217;re paying for traffic, and these visitors aren&#8217;t converting. What should you do? Well, if you don&#8217;t do the following five tips, those visitors are going to be wasted and you&#8217;re not going to be able to convert them.</p>
<p>Hey everyone, I&#8217;m Neil Patel, and today, I&#8217;m gonna share with you, how to create a landing page that converts over 40%. I know what you&#8217;re thinking, 40% conversion rate, on a landing page, that&#8217;s insane.</p>
<p>Well that&#8217;s possible. Sure if you&#8217;re selling a product for $100, you&#8217;re not gonna get a 40% conversion rate. But let&#8217;s say you&#8217;re just starting out and collecting leads like name and email address, you can get over 40%.</p>
<p>And even if you&#8217;re selling products you can boost your conversion rates if you follow these exact tips. So tip number one, use tools like Instapage and Click Funnels. The cool part about Click Funnels and Instapage and even Lead Pages is they break down the landing pages in their system that convert to the best.</p>
<p>And they&#8217;re not making this up by saying oh this landing page converts better than this other one cause it looks cooler. They&#8217;re using data, they have so many customers, thousands and thousands if not hundreds of thousands, that they&#8217;re basing it off their existing customer base and their current conversion rates.</p>
<p>So they know all their customers are using this one landing page that&#8217;s converting better than all the other ones out there, that should tell you, hey you should start with this landing page first.</p>
<p>The second tip I have for you is have an amazing unique value proposition. Not a bullshit one like put in your name and email and I&#8217;ll send you a free pdf, or I&#8217;ll send you weekly updates. That value proposition sucks.</p>
<p>It has to be amazing. Such as, with a lot of my offers I give free courses. I give free guides that I&#8217;ve spent $30,000 creating. Now I&#8217;m a crazy person. You don&#8217;t have to go above and beyond like me, but my stuff converts better than most people.</p>
<p>Why? Because I go above and beyond. With your value proposition, it needs to resonate with people, if you&#8217;re not solving a problem that they&#8217;re facing at a really deep problem, they&#8217;re not gonna opt in or buy from you.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re just scratching the surface and you&#8217;re not breaking down why they should opt in or why they should buy your product or service and why it solves this problem they&#8217;ve had forever, they&#8217;re much less likely to buy from you.</p>
<p>So really focus on your copy. Everything that I&#8217;ve tested when it comes to landing pages copy and value proposition is one of the biggest factors that effects the conversion rate. The third tip I have for you is keep it simple silly.</p>
<p>One of my companies was called Kiss Metrics. Why? Because I found that in marketing, everyone tries to over complicate stuff. There&#8217;s no reason for it. Why not keep things super simple? For example, if you have 10 form fields, when you only need two, remove the extra stuff that you don&#8217;t need.</p>
<p>If you have tons of copy and you&#8217;re saying the same stuff over and over again, remove the fluff. Get to the point. Landing pages that are super simple tend to convert better than long ones that go on and on and ramble.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m not saying you should have short landing pages. Instead what I&#8217;m saying is you should get to the point. If you need to have a longer landing page because it helps you answer objections, objections are concerns people have before they opt in or buy from you, then that&#8217;s fine, have a long landing page.</p>
<p>But get to the point and remove the fluff. That&#8217;s called keeping it simple, right. You don&#8217;t want really fluffy long landing pages that go on and on like I am right now with this point, because you&#8217;re gonna lose people.</p>
<p>The fourth tip I have for you is show social proof. There are so many different versions of social proof. They could be testimonials, they could be case studies, it could be results that other people are experiencing, it could even be videos.</p>
<p>I was talking to a buddy Sam Evans, and he has this website called consulting.com, he has over 3,000 video testimonials. That&#8217;s crazy, that&#8217;s a shit ton of social proof. There are so many different variations that you could use.</p>
<p>It depends, based on the type of landing page you have and the business you have. So if you&#8217;re unsure on the best type of social proof, for your landing page, leave a comment below on what you&#8217;re thinking, and I&#8217;ll respond back on if I think that&#8217;s good or if that&#8217;s bad or if you should be doing something else instead.</p>
<p>The fifth tip I have for you is to create a video. Not everyone enjoys reading. Some people love looking at pictures. But a picture isn&#8217;t gonna cause tons more people to convert. You need a video that should explain everything that they&#8217;re gonna get when they opt in, or buy your product, or sign up for your service.</p>
<p>That video should be short and to the point. Under three minutes, ideally under one minute, but worse case under three minutes. It should answer any objections people have before they sign up or buy from you.</p>
<p>And it should describe everything in a logical order. You don&#8217;t wanna be bouncing around and making your video pitch really confusing. And when you do videos, what you&#8217;ll find is, it can sometimes decrease your conversions.</p>
<p>But the quality of the customer that you end up generating is much better and they tend to spend more over the lifetime value. So you have to test video. So follow those tips, you&#8217;re gonna have an amazing landing page that&#8217;s gonna convert better.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re collecting emails you should be over 40%. If you&#8217;re selling a product, depending on how targeted the traffic is, you could be at numbers like three, four, five, and sometimes upwards at 10% depending on the price point.</p>

<p>Hey everyone guys welcome back to this video episode. I assure you that this will be very, very, very interesting because today we&#8217;re, going to talk about the lead page, and i want to share with you my personal experience, because many of my customers asked me to create modern new landing pages.</p>
<p>But i don&#8217;t have actually any design experience and tech experience and leak pages. Actually, this is a service which helps me with that, a lot so actually elite pages. This is one of the best services which actually this is a website.</p>
<p>Builders and uh helps me a lot to create a good landing pages and websites without any tag skills. So we can start right here. We have a explanation actually what this product is, but i would say, one of uh.</p>
<p>We can start, of course, from the benefits of uh the lead pages, and i would say that one of the big part of benefits is that it has easy to use editor and the second one. It has many many many fashionable and not fashionable modern popular templates.</p>
<p>So uh the templates are from to actually for the landing pages and for the website pages so uh. Actually, you may choose each one you like the most, so we have right here, the all the categories, for example, sales or events or consultation, um newsletter offered discount and coupons.</p>
<p>So okay, why not let&#8217;s start from uh, actually coupon template. So we have um the list, not the list of the widgets of this um templates and and and for example, smart product sales page. We can see the preview how it will be look like on the desktop and even on a mobile phone by the way um.</p>
<p>I will tell you that you may edit each template uh by your preferences. What do you want to get uh? You may um add personal your video in this template. You may use your personal photos, images. You may use content.</p>
<p>You would love to uh. To add this template, so that is how you can uh how it will be look like on the desktop um. So we can see that this is quite a large. Quite i would say a big um land page landing page and how it will be look like on the mobile phone, so we can check it so uh.</p>
<p>The one of the most uh reasons, which i like the leadpages is that everything is for me because i&#8217;m. A girl. I don&#8217;t, know how to say uh how to explain correctly, but actually each template it&#8217;s modern and fashionable and photos are so good just like from the catalog.</p>
<p>You know so that&#8217;s. Why? I love to use the templates from the lately pages okay, so that is how it uh, how you how it will be on your mobile phone and we gonna start from uh pricing. The next thing so uh, because you you should be uh.</p>
<p>You should be informed about the prices, so this is the cost of each subscription. So we have right here, three subscriptions advanced pro and standard one, so you may start from the standard, but actually um.</p>
<p>In my case, i started from the advanced, because here we have opportunity up to 50 sites to build up to 50 sites, landing pages pop-ups other birds. We have unlimited traffic and leads by the way here is hosting free.</p>
<p>We have um more than 40 standard integration. We have online sales payments and, of course we have, i would say um. This is similar similar, similar, similar email trigger links. This is also is important for you and, of course, we have uh right here, um.</p>
<p>Of course, we have right here attack support, which is also important. If you don&#8217;t know what you need to do right here, but i assure you that uh, the editor and the lead pages right here everything is so easy to use.</p>
<p>So i guess you don&#8217;t need uh. There will no be any questions for you. Okay, so let&#8217;s start um. I guess i want to show you how you can create, for example, a landing page. So let&#8217;s, start working with the editor uh, for example.</p>
<p>I would love to create a new landing page and, and &#8211; and here we have integrations by the way &#8211; this is also um, very interesting sections, but landing pages, and i want to create a new landing page. So we are the most popular.</p>
<p>We will see the templates financial services, for example, we may, or black friday deal opt-in we can use, but i don&#8217;t like this one, okay, so that that that fitness, freebie opt-in page will be quite interesting for me to work with this.</p>
<p>One template &#8211; and i guess i will choose it so start building your face, let it be so. Actually we can see that here we have only two sections, footer and body. We can change the background. We may change the contents, we may change the bottoms.</p>
<p>We may add the other images and videos, for example, so layout here we have page layout and it shows us that we have right here, body and footer, and that&#8217;s. All we may change right here. The headline a column we may may choose the style of, for example, the text or just we may use the padding just to see how it looks like so even you you know in this editor, you may play just how it looks like, and is it good For you just do you like it or not? Okay, so uh we can change image, but this is very, very, very fashionable image for me and i guess that we will work with this image.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll. Let it be right here: i don&#8217;t want to change anything, but we um. I guess we will add the another uh the another section and let it be text and image. For example, oh and i forget here we have drag and drop sections editor, so we just need to drag it.</p>
<p>Okay and right here we may change, for example, um edit image. We might change the images. So here is my image. For example, i need to show okay and, for example, we will work with this one, edit image and the other one.</p>
<p>So so we can see that i&#8217;ve added to my personal images and right here we may change. For example, the costs, the cost &#8211; will be 150 dollars per month, and here will be the same. So basically, that is how you can work with this editor.</p>
<p>You may change the type you may change the bone size spaces, each section you may change and by the way, by the way here is the footer. So i just added one section and let it be let&#8217;s check the preview, how it will look like so we can see.</p>
<p>I guess that it will be better to change the background, also to change the white color to, for example, the pink one, but i like it. So that is how you can work with this editor and you may and you may publish it okay.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s, go back uh! Here we have the other settings, so you may edit your cl information, information, social and analytics, so that is easy to use. So that is, i would say, uh for this video episode.</p>
<p>I guess all i assure you that using linked pages is very simple in using and, of course, if you don&#8217;t, have any tag, skills or design web design experience don&#8217;t be afraid of it. It&#8217;s. This service helps you with uh creation of new websites and landing pages a lot.</p>

<p>Landing pages are vital for capturing information from your audience and one of the most important stages in your sales process. Hey guys Stewart here welcome back, I hope everyone as well today, I&#8217;m, going to guide you through how to create a free landing page using MailChimp.</p>
<p>Now MailChimp is a powerful free email marketing platform that is ideal for small businesses, looking to grow their email list and get involved in email, marketing, and automation. Todays. The focus is on showing you how to create a beautiful landing page that converts.</p>
<p>So here we have the landing page that we&#8217;re, going to create today using MailChimp. Now, with a landing page, you want to have a single, focused call-to-action. As you can see, we want to capture our visitors, email, address, and name.</p>
<p>This is how we can build our email list for future email marketing activities. Essentially, we want to build up our community and audience okay, so let&#8217;s get started the first step to building your landing page is to sign up or log in to MailChimp, okay.</p>
<p>So the first thing you want to do is head over to MailChimp, command sign up. If you don&#8217;t already have an account. If you do, then just log in what we&#8217;re going to do is because this is all about building a landing page.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re gonna skip through this signup process. It&#8217;s very straightforward and we&#8217;ll meet you at the MailChimp dashboard, okay great. So here we are at our MailChimp dashboard. Now, once you&#8217;ve signed up, you&#8217;ve logged in this is what you&#8217;re, going to see you&#8217;re, going to see all these elements here on your dashboard now up.</p>
<p>The top is some important elements here is where you can create an email. Add website your landing page, which will jump into in a moment, survey social posts, signup forms, and postcard. So with MailChimp, you don&#8217;t just have the option to create our email marketing activities, but you have other marketing automation activities that you can get involved in.</p>
<p>But today we&#8217;re, just going to talk about landing page how to create a converting landing page. Now we also have campaigns, automation, audience, brand, and reports. Then we have our settings up here, but what we&#8217;ll do.</p>
<p>Are we&#8217;ll dive into the landing page? So the first thing is: we want to understand our audience. So this is your audience here. When you sign up with MailChimp for the free version, you can only create one audience, so we&#8217;ve already got an audience created here called Stewart tutorials.</p>
<p>Now you can rename that if you like &#8211; and you can import contacts that you might already have just down here, so we&#8217;ve got an audience that Stewart&#8217;s tutorials. Now we want to create a landing page where we can capture our audience&#8217;s, information, email, and name, and we can add them to this audience so that we can retarget and kind of build our audience in our relationship with our audience later.</p>
<p>On down the track, so let&#8217;s, create our landing page. What you want to do is hit over to create and then head down to landing, page, and click landing page nowhere you want to name your landing page. Okay, so I&#8217;ve named my landing page digital marketing for beginners.</p>
<p>Then we want to pop down here and click on your audience. Now. Remember, as I said before, you can only create one audience. We &#8216; Ve got Stuart&#8217;s tutorials. So again that&#8217;s, going to automatically show up there and then we&#8217;ll click begin.</p>
<p>Then we just want to accept terms and conditions. So we can use these templates if we like now, as you can see, we have a bunch of templates that we can choose from to create a landing page. So again, if you don&#8217;t want to create one from scratch.</p>
<p>You can come down here and you can select one of these free landing page templates to start building from. So we&#8217;re, going to start with something simple and start creating from a basic template. So we&#8217;re going to click grow your list because that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Essentially what we want to do. We want to grow your email list with this landing page, so click here to view the landing page and as you can see, this has taken us to the basic landing page template which we can now customize and change.</p>
<p>The way that we like now. The great thing about this is it&#8217;s, a really simple landing, page builder, which we can simply drag and drop to add to our landing page again. We can also just come over to the left-hand, side and we can drag each of these blocks to the position that we like on our landing page, and you can also edit each of these blocks by simply clicking edit block on this icon here.</p>
<p>And that will bring up the information on the right hand, the side where we can edit and change the content. So again it&#8217;s very simple: to create and change the content on this landing page. It&#8217;s a really easy landing.</p>
<p>Page builder, so remember the reason we want to create this landing page. So we can start building our email list building our audience, so we can start with email marketing activities later on down the track.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s start building your landing page. So the first thing we want to do is change the background image because, as you can see it&#8217;s just this dull gray color. So you can come up here and you can change them here.</p>
<p>If you have a specific color that maybe represents your brand, your business, you can choose that color here or you can add an image. So what I&#8217;ll do is end the image here and, as you can see, we don&#8217;t, have any images or files on this account.</p>
<p>So what I&#8217;ll do is pop up here and click upload, and then I&#8217;m, going to select the background and click open. Now what you can actually do is head over to canva.com and you can download images. You can create your own business content for free using canvas.</p>
<p>Now the image we&#8217;ve, just downloaded, as you can see here, we actually just downloaded from canva.com. It&#8217;s, a free image that we&#8217;ve downloaded, and we&#8217;re going to use it for the background of this landing page, and you can do the same so head over to the canvas.</p>
<p>com. If you don&#8217;t, have any business materials or any content, any images, and download the images that you like using canvas com all right. So I&#8217;m happy with that image. There that background image &#8211; and I&#8217;m gonna click select and it will take some time to upload.</p>
<p>But, as you can see, we have the image background here. So I, like the look of that now. What we want to do is add a logo here, so what we want to do is click this edit block icon and come over here and click replace, and I&#8217;m gonna come over here and click upload and then I&#8217;m going to select this logo here and click open again that&#8217;s, going to take some time to upload, and then I want to select the logo and click insert and that&#8217;s going to insert my logo here now.</p>
<p>You can also come across and change the size, so I like the look of that size there. Then, when you&#8217;re happy with that, come down here and click Save and close, so we &#8216; Ve got our logo here now we want to edit our headline, so this is going to be compelling.</p>
<p>This is going to be enticing. We want to invite people to essentially look at our landing page and enter their email, information, and name, so we can capture their information and build our email list.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m going to edit this heading here and then I&#8217;m gonna delete this and then paste my content here. So, as you can see, I&#8217;ve already created my own content and it&#8217;s on a document. So I&#8217;m, just copying and pasting to make this process tutorial a lot faster.</p>
<p>So make sure you have your content in place already. So again I&#8217;ve, got helping your small business thrive online and, as you can see, I have made it italic. I&#8217;ve. Also, an underline under this particular word thrive, and I&#8217;m happy with that, although it&#8217;s quite large, so I&#8217;m gonna highlight the text and come across here and change the size to about not 24.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s, a bit too small. We&#8217;ll go, we&#8217;ll go 26 and I&#8217;m happy with that and I&#8217;m gonna click Save and close. Then we want to come down and change the body text. I&#8217;m going to click Edit. I&#8217;m, going to delete the dummy text here and then paste my already existing content.</p>
<p>So here we have our content again. We want to make it as compelling and inviting as possible, and you want to share the value you want to explain exactly what you&#8217;re, giving and return for their email address.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m gonna highlight this text and I&#8217;m gonna click center-aligned. I like the look of that again, some of it I have already highlighted here. This whole section here has been highlighted. Some of it has some of the words underlined again.</p>
<p>That looks quite good. I could change the size, but I&#8217;m happy with that text, and then I&#8217;m gonna click Save and close. However, I don&#8217;t like how it&#8217;s, all just plain white. So what I actually want to do is change the background color of this section here now I can&#8217;t, actually do it with this block itself.</p>
<p>I need to come across and I need to click on this box text and drag that across here and put that just above the original text box. Now. What I need to do is transfer this information up here. So I&#8217;m just going to click here to in it.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m gonna highlight all this information. Ctrl C I&#8217;m gonna copy it. I&#8217;m gonna come over here and delete this block. Yes, you know I&#8217;m gonna click it and highlight this information and control V and paste that information that I just deleted into this textbox hit, and then click Save and close and as you can see, this is a boxed text.</p>
<p>So it looks a bit more attractive than just the plain white background, so I&#8217;m happy with that click Save and close. So again we &#8216; Ve got the logo. We&#8217;ve got a header here, then we&#8217;ve got our body text, and then down here we &#8216;</p>
<p>Ve got our email information, so this is where people put in their email address. I want to add their name as well, so I&#8217;m, going to click Edit this box, and then we &#8216; Ve got the email address, so the available fields we&#8217;ve got an email address.</p>
<p>You can click all of these. If you like, so we&#8217;ve got the email address and first name again you can add last name address phone number birthday if you like, but you want to keep it as simple and straightforward as possible.</p>
<p>You can come down here and change the subscribe button. I&#8217;m happy with that subscription. Yep, we&#8217;ll go subscribe, we&#8217;ll leave it as it is and then after they have submitted, we can have a confirmation message.</p>
<p>Yep. Well, keep that and then you can change that confirmation message down here. The success you&#8217;ve, been added to the audience. I&#8217;m, going to change it to you&#8217;ve been added to our small business community yep.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m happy with that and then click Save and close. Now that looks quite good so far, but we want to have a footer and we want to add some more information down here. So what we&#8217;ll do is come over here and add a divider, so I&#8217;m gonna drag.</p>
<p>This and put that under here I&#8217;m happy with all this information. Here again, you can edit the style, the sizing, the padding here I&#8217;m gonna leave. That, as is I&#8217;m gonna click, Save and close, and then I&#8217;m gonna come up here and add an image and we drag this image below the divider.</p>
<p>And then I&#8217;m gonna come across here and upload an image. So I&#8217;m going to come over here. I don&#8217;t want any of these images. I &#8216; Ve already got my logo, so I&#8217;m going to click upload and I&#8217;m, going to add this image of myself and click open.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m, going to select the image of myself and click insert add an image or it&#8217;s up to you. What you want to add here, but we&#8217;re gonna add an image of myself and then again I&#8217;m gonna resize. That image I&#8217;m gonna keep it let&#8217;s say that size looks quite good and I&#8217;m happy with that.</p>
<p>Then what I want to do is click Save and close. I&#8217;m gonna. Come back over to box tix and drag that under here, then. What I want to do is get rid of this and add my title here. So struggle digital strategist project and content director at sin do media, so they&#8217;re, just kind of like I said before, gives authority and credibility so that&#8217;s me.</p>
<p>This is our company, my company, and this is the information about this landing page and what we&#8217;re, going to kind of offer and return for their email address and name. So that looks quite good so far.</p>
<p>Another thing we want to do. One of the last things is to add social media buttons, so people can head to our website or they can head to our other social media channels. So I&#8217;m, going to click, Save and close, and then what I&#8217;m gonna.</p>
<p>Do is come over here and click on social, follow and drag that and pop that below this blocked text, and as you can see, we have the social media elements here now. What I want to do is change this, so we &#8216;</p>
<p>Ve got Facebook, here again, all you want to do is copy your URL to your Facebook page. If you have a business Facebook, page, and paste that in here so for example, as is, send do media again, you can just hit over to the Facebook page and copy and paste the URL.</p>
<p>Here again, we don&#8217;t use Twitter. So we&#8217;re, going to change that to LinkedIn. Then again you can add your Linkedin URL here it could be your personal profile or it could be your business page, your company page if you have one and in your website&#8217;s, answers Cindy okay, Enz, so we have with that.</p>
<p>Then you can add another, you can add up to 10. We&#8217;re gonna remove this, and we&#8217;re gonna find it on YouTube there. It is, and then what we would do is would actually add our YouTube URL here. So just copy your URL, as I said before, and add that up here and then I&#8217;m going to, and I&#8217;m happy with that.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m gonna click Save and, as you can see, that is our landing page. Now I&#8217;m, actually really happy with that. I&#8217;m, going to leave it as it is it&#8217;s, simple, it&#8217;s straightforward, its colorful words. It&#8217;s professional and it has all the information I want to convert my visitors, my audience into essentially adding them to my email list.</p>
<p>Now again, you can come over here there are other options, and then what we want to do is come down here when you&#8217;re happy with your landing page click Save and continue, and then over here you want to add your Page title name: so we&#8217;re going to say small business community.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m happy with that and click Save and then down here you can add the URL, so you can create your own URL here or you can connect a domain. So I&#8217;m just going to type in the business name, which is Cindy I media.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m happy with that and click Save and then down here we&#8217;ve got audiences and tag, so contacts will be added to Stewart&#8217;s. Stewart tutorials, which I&#8217;m, happy with remembering. If you want to create more audiences and you need to upgrade, for now, we&#8217;ll, just leave it as Stewart tutorials and then the contents.</p>
<p>You can preview by clicking preview and we can see this on desktop. So that looks very attractive. I like to look at that, then we can click the mobile and that will show you it on mobile. If you&#8217;re happy with that and see what I&#8217;d probably do is make this takes a bit smaller because it&#8217;s.</p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t look very responsive on mobile, but for now, because it&#8217;s, just a tutorial, we&#8217;ll. Leave that as it is, and we&#8217;ll click. It&#8217;s, an out of preview mode, and then we&#8217;ll come up here and we &#8216;</p>
<p>Ll click, publish, and congratulations. Your landing page is now live on the web, and here it is. So what you want to do is copy this here and then share it on Facebook on Twitter. You can share blog posts on your YouTube channel and your videos.</p>
<p>You can send it via email to individuals, you can send paid traffic or organic traffic, and then people can sign up through this landing page. So that&#8217;s.
