<p>So let&#8217;s, go ahead and get started. Alright, everyone, let&#8217;s, go ahead and get started and create the the first email list that you&#8217;ll, create here now, as I mentioned in the introduction, I am using Aweber and I use Aweber because I prefer it it&#8217;s what I really started with and if you go out there and you look, there are a lot of email marketing platforms that exist, but I prefer Aweber and most people are going to start with.</p>
<p>Usually Aweber or MailChimp are probably two of the most popular ones to start with, they both offer free trials and everything like that for the first 30 days. But the difference is a weber actually lets.</p>
<p>You begin by being able to use an autoresponder and an autoresponder is really the key to email marketing in general. In my opinion, it&#8217;s very, very, very powerful MailChimp. Their free plan does not allow that, but after 30 days you can.</p>
<p>You know I like to purchase a plan, so I use Aweber. It is 19 hours a month, totally free trial to start out and that&#8217;s. The one that I&#8217;ve been using. Never let me down so I recommend a weber, but with that being said, let me go ahead and show you within a web or how we can actually do this now.</p>
<p>The process of doing this is going to be similar in a lot of the platforms, but the interface is gonna be a little bit different. So I wanted to do this walkthrough to help you out &#8211; and this is my recommended platform, but that doesn &#8216;</p>
<p>T necessarily mean that you have to use it okay, so we&#8217;re gonna go ahead and get started here. The first thing we want to do now: this is the home page, and you see some subscriber stats here that uh.</p>
<p>You know you may not see on your platform, but let&#8217;s, go ahead and start here and we want to go into manage lists. So we&#8217;re gonna click on manage lists, and after we&#8217;ve clicked on manage lists, we want to actually create a list so that&#8217;s, going to be us creating our first list.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s; click on create a list all right, and now that we&#8217;re here. It wants us to set up our information. So I have a lot of this information already set up, and I&#8217;m just gonna keep this in here. You would obviously put your own website URL, and you have to have an address within your emails.</p>
<p>This is really important, so the can-spam act basically made it so that legally you have to have a physical address associated with your business. You can use your house address, you can also use a p.</p>
<p>o box. You have to use something so whatever that may be, you know figure out putting in address for those that think. Well, my privacy and I&#8217;m nervous and you know I don&#8217;t want people to see my my address because they will be able to see this okay.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s, a good idea to go to get a peel box or something like that or use a different address that you, don&#8217;t actually live at, but that information there and then the sender names. So, who is when, when people receive an email from you, what is it going to say it&#8217;s sent from so for me, it&#8217;s run and then the pipe when our professor comm and then the sender email Ron at one.</p>
<p>Our professor comm okay, so that&#8217;s. What I put in there, we&#8217;ll, go to the next step. Now this is the list name now for this. I&#8217;m just going to put demo list. You would want to name this. This is something that is just for your own organization on the backend okay, so I&#8217;m gonna put demo list, and then this is the demo list.</p>
<p>Description and people will actually see this description when they&#8217;re subscribing to your list, so you want to make this so it&#8217;s. Actually, you know sounds good to the person that&#8217;s, considering signing up for the next step, and now you have to choose a subject line for your confirmation email.</p>
<p>So you &#8216; Ve probably done this before, where you go in, and you know you said yeah, I&#8217;ll sign up for the list and then you get a confirmation, email or otherwise known as a double opt-in, so that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>What this is for so the subject line, we can kind of say whatever we want here or choose the ones that are already created, which are all pretty good. I usually just go with. You know. First name confirm your subscription that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>What I do you can request approval for a custom subject line, but I&#8217;ve, never done it. I don&#8217;t. Think it&#8217;s really worth the time. So I usually leave it and then you can. He you can. Edit, this top part, which is nice, so you can actually edit the top part and and change that if you want to &#8211; and you can also edit the bottom part here &#8211; I&#8217;m fine with what this says and truthfully, I probably wouldn&#8217;t change too much about it.</p>
<p>I would maybe change the top part a little bit if you wanted to, but bottom parts. Fine. So let&#8217;s, go to approve message and create list, and that&#8217;s. It. Your list is now created, so when you create a list there&#8217;s, two different things you really want to do from the beginning.</p>
<p>The first thing is, you want to go into messages, go to legacy, follow-up mess or legacy follow-up series, sorry or follow-up series &#8211; and here you&#8217;d &#8211; want to do a drag-and-drop email builder, and what you want to do here why? This is really important.</p>
<p>Is you want to create a welcome message? You know, welcome people to the list tell them what they can expect to get and explain to them. You know what is going to be coming in the future for them that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>What you want to do with this, and also in the subject line you know, welcome you know, first name to our email list or whatever it may be, just send them a welcome email, and then you save it. The reason why you want to do this in the beginning, you guys is because that is going to be something that when somebody goes onto your website and they sign up for your list immediately right after they get done or yeah right after they get done, subscribing They are going to get that email from you and in that email you can say welcome.</p>
<p>You can also include links back to your website so that they can get the opt-in. You know ebook whatever it is. You can actually include a link in the email itself to give them the the ebook or whatever it is that your you have created as an opt-in.</p>
<p>So you can do that and it basically starts you off on the right foot and sets expectations. So that&#8217;s, the first thing. The second thing that you need to do &#8211; or you can do you don&#8217;t necessarily need to.</p>
<p>But if we go into here into list options and list settings, so you see here that there&#8217;s, some some list settings that we can change. I just want to make you aware of this, so this isn&#8217;t all that pop or important here you can pretty much leave it, as is you can personalize your list if you want to your email signature, you know and change that up.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;d, like social media and sharing so tweet your broadcasts or pull broadcasts on Facebook, if you want to send your emails out that way, it&#8217;s, a nice thing. Some people do that some people do not right.</p>
<p>Here is the global text snippets, which is really important at the bottom of your emails. You can actually have a global text snippet, which you know if it&#8217;s, a particular product or a demo, or something that you&#8217;re.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re, telling people hey, you know you should try this out. You can actually put a global snippet and it&#8217;ll, go into every single email, which is nice. It&#8217;s, a nice little feature there and then. Lastly, is the confirmed opt-in? Okay, so this is really important.</p>
<p>So if you are doing a confirmed opt-in, this is where you can edit the email, the subject line, and then here you can actually say I do want to require the opt-in or maybe I don&#8217;t now I do you know I mentioned this Here I do want to say that you should probably do a double opt-in, definitely to start, and you can kind of test to see if you need to change that, but definitely start with that, and you can send it confirmed opt-in, email for web forms.</p>
<p>You want to make this so that is on. If you don&#8217;t want a confirm, opt-in, you just click this and it &#8216; Ll. Tell you hey, you know you&#8217;re about to turn off, confirmed opt-in. You say yes, and now you no longer are going to be sending a confirmed opt-in.</p>
<p>So what will happen? Is someone will go to your website? They&#8217;ll, see a box that says: hey give us your. You know first name and email and you can sign up and then they click you know they put in their information they submit and they &#8216;</p>
<p>Ll automatically be subscribed to your list right then, and there, which is good, but also bad, because they haven&#8217;t confirmed that email, so it could be a junk email, so you got ta be careful with that.</p>
<p>The other thing with this is that if you have confirmed opt-in right, then you can send them to a confirmation, success, page URL. So this would be the page on your website after they have clicked, so they go to the email address or they go to their email address.</p>
<p>They click on the email that you sent them and then they click on the confirmation link, basically verifying. Yes, this is a real email from there. This would be the URL on your website that you would want them to go back to so this could be an email that or a URL that basically says hey.</p>
<p>You know thank you for signing up, really appreciate everything here&#8217;s, a link to the e-book that sort of thing, so that&#8217;s. What we do with that, and then this is past subscriber info for personalizing, the page, as it says now recommended for WordPress users.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t use this because I aim exclusively using WordPress and then you save your settings and that&#8217;s it so that is, you know the basics of setting up an email list. It&#8217;s. Really that simple. We&#8217;re gonna be under ten minutes here.</p>

<p>Number one has been through just building my brand, early on I was using email marketing as a method of brand building by sending around helpful articles and newsletters. Number two I used email marketing as a means of marketing my course on investing in the stock market, about a year and a half ago.</p>
<p>And then recently I have used email marketing as a method of basically taking my efforts for affiliate marketing, and improving them. And number three finally, most recently I have been using email marketing with my blog, investingsimple.</p>
<p>blog, as a means of making money through affiliate marketing, and I actually have different recommendations based on each of these three situations, based on the email marketing softwares or services I have used in the past.</p>
<p>Now my two recommendations here are going to be numbered one, AWeber, which is the email marketing software I am currently using, and I&#8217;ll go over a number of reasons why I am using this one specifically.</p>
<p>And then number two, Mailchimp, which is the one that I was using previously when I was doing that brand building for myself and also marketing my investing course. And before we get into the review here, I just want to go ahead and show you guys one item here that&#8217;s available through AWeber that I have found to be extremely useful and valuable, regardless of whether or not you&#8217;re actually going to go with AWeber or a different email marketing provider out there.</p>
<p>They offer a lot of free information here when it comes to getting started with crafting you&#8217;re emails and learning more about email marketing, they offer 45 plus email content templates, as well as a complete course that&#8217;s going to show you how to get started with email marketing, that&#8217;s gonna be the top link in the description below.</p>
<p>And again, I would recommend that to anyone regardless of whether or not you&#8217;re actually going to use AWeber, they offer this completely free to anyone out there who is interested. So first of all what I wanna go ahead and do is log you guys into my AWeber dashboard and show you exactly how I am using AWeber for my affiliate marketing efforts, and actually the different lists that I have created here.</p>
<p>Just to give you guys a quick overview of this platform. Then I&#8217;m gonna go into the reasons why I specifically chose to use AWeber. And then we&#8217;re gonna transition into talking about Mailchimp, which is my number two pick, and the different types of businesses I would recommend for AWeber versus using Mailchimp.</p>
<p>So first of all, this right here is my AWeber dashboard, as you can see, today I&#8217;ve grown my lists by 59 subscribers, 24 yesterday, and I have a total of 3,017. And this right here is a recently sent broadcast email.</p>
<p>So, primarily you can use email marketing softwares for one of two things. Number one, setting up an autoresponder, which is mostly what I&#8217;m doing with my email marketing efforts. And then number two, you can send out these broadcast emails, that are going to go right to all of the members of your list, or as an autoresponder is only going to be sending emails to new subscribers on a recurring basis of maybe everyday or every couple of days.</p>
<p>Now, within AWeber you can have multiple different lists, as you can see I have three different ones here, one being my Affiliate Marketing Course list, number two being my Test Group Applications for a course I am launching, and then number three, my InvestingSimple list, which is tied into my InvestingSimple blog.</p>
<p>And then you basically just choose this dropdown menu up top here to decide which list you want to be looking at. So, we&#8217;re gonna start off here with InvestingSimple, and I&#8217;m gonna show you what my autoresponder looks like, and you view that by just going over here to Messages, and taking a look at the Campaigns.</p>
<p>So, it&#8217;s a very straight forward, easy to understand platform. To be honest with you guys, when you first get started with it, it might be a little bit strange finding out where everything is, but once you get the just of it, I have found it to be the easiest email marketing software to use.</p>
<p>And this right here is my basic welcome campaign, and this is what I&#8217;m using to basically monetize the back-end of my InvestingSimple blog. Now, in case you&#8217;re not familiar with what that looks like, let me just show you guys quickly, we&#8217;ll jump over to my blog, and I&#8217;ll show you what I am doing to be collecting emails.</p>
<p>Essentially on the homepage of my blog people can click this button to get the Beginner&#8217;s Guide to Investing. Once they click that, they&#8217;re brought over to a ClickFunnels landing page, which integrates directly with AWeber, and they can drop their name and email to get a completely free copy of my investing book that I put together.</p>
<p>And then after they receive that book, they receive a series of follow-up emails that contain affiliate links for a different brokerages or investing apps, or budgeting apps that I am personally affiliated with, which allows me to make money on the back-end with this email list.</p>
<p>And that&#8217;s the best part about email marketing, is that if you&#8217;re actually doing it correctly, what you&#8217;re making from these emails is going to far surpass how much it costs you for this email marketing service.</p>
<p>Both Mailchimp and AWeber are almost identical in terms of pricing. So, I don&#8217;t look at it in terms of price, I look at it in terms of the functionality as well as what type of emails you can send through each platform.</p>
<p>But I wouldn&#8217;t worry too much about the price of either one of these, because you&#8217;re emails alone should be bringing you more business or making you more money than it costs you to actually have that email service subscription.</p>
<p>And as you can see on the right-hand side here, this is the actual email sequence that people receive, it starts off with the welcome email for the Free Investing Guide, and then it goes into a series of different affiliate related emails, as you can see here, this one has a 32% open rate, 8% click rate.</p>
<p>And I haven&#8217;t really optimized these emails, but over 20% in most cases is generally what you&#8217;re looking for. And I believe this is a eight or nine day email marketing sequence. And then let&#8217;s say for example you wanna switch over to a different list and view, your autoresponder will jump over to my Affiliate Marketing course, and this one is a significantly longer one here where people receive a series of, I think this one is actually 30 emails long.</p>
<p>Now this one I didn&#8217;t write myself, I have a copywriter who does some of my emails for me. But the ones from my InvestingSimple list, I absolutely wrote these emails myself, using a lot of those tips from that free guide there, that AWeber has put together on Email Marketing for Beginners, which is going to be again, that top link in the description.</p>
<p>Now I will say this, this right here is the extent to which I use AWeber for email marketing. I don&#8217;t get into anything more confusing than this, I basically just setup campaigns like this or auto responders that are going to send emails automatically as people are added to the list, or I will occasionally send out broadcast emails.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t get into tags or A/B testing or any of that, so I can&#8217;t speak to those features, because I have personally never used them, or any more types of advanced reporting. But I&#8217;ll go ahead and show you guys what these emails look like, and to be honest with you, they are extremely simple.</p>
<p>I will open up the welcome email for the free Investing Guide, and you might be thinking to yourself, well, why wouldn&#8217;t I wanna have more bells and whistles and fancy images and pictures, and what I have found is that, the simpler the emails are that you&#8217;re sending people, the better.</p>
<p>Because if you send something loaded up with images and flashy GIFs and all this different stuff, it looks like a mass produced email, and I have found less and less people actually open it, so I stick to the very simple text emails just like this, and that is all you ever really see from my email marketing efforts, is just straight text emails, just like this.</p>
<p>So, that is my number one recommendation for people who are doing affiliate marketing or any kind of personal brand building, maybe you&#8217;re selling a digital product or building a personal brand online, I would personally recommend AWeber, and that&#8217;s exactly what I&#8217;m using for these different purposes.</p>
<p>Now we&#8217;re gonna get into number two now, and talk about Mailchimp, and you&#8217;re gonna understand a little bit more why I transitioned from using Mailchimp to using AWeber for my email marketing.</p>

<p>So here we have the Mailchimp dashboard, I still have my account activated under the free plan, because I just leave it open just in case I wanna go back in here and look at any of the old emails that I&#8217;ve sent.</p>
<p>And this is why I really like Mailchimp, is because they offer a free plan for up to 2000 subscribers, and this is great for people looking to get started with email marketing. One downside to AWeber is that after that 30 day free trial, you do have to pay, it&#8217;s a certain price per month, and all the email marketing providers out there, they charge you a monthly fee or monthly subscription cost based on your number of subscribers.</p>
<p>Now in terms of the pricing between Mailchimp and AWeber, after that 2000 subscriber threshold they&#8217;re pricing is almost identical, but I really do like Mailchimp because they offer that free plan for you to get your feet wet with email marketing.</p>
<p>But I wanna just quickly segue and talk about why Mailchimp may not be a good fit for you. And that is the fact that Mailchimp is best for people who have goods and services or a brick and mortar business.</p>
<p>Maybe you sell shirts online, or you have some kind of online store. Maybe you have some kind of art blog, and you&#8217;re looking to send really nice beautiful well crafted emails, because to be honest with you, in terms of the emails you can create, you can make beautiful, very visually appealing emails, but for me, for doing affiliate marketing and building my personal brand, that&#8217;s just not anything I&#8217;m looking for, because I want my emails to have a more personal feel.</p>
<p>And then the big issue here that I ran into with Mailchimp, is that they do not allow affiliate marketing, which is a huge part of my business. So, after I learn that, I had to mitigate over to AWeber, which they do allow affiliate marketing.</p>
<p>And the reason behind that, is because Mailchimp doesn&#8217;t really wanna be associated with affiliate marketing, and that&#8217;s unfortunate because, affiliate marketing in and of itself, is not a scam me business or a bad business.</p>
<p>But unfortunately there are people operating pretty shady or pretty scam me affiliate marketing businesses, and that is why Mailchimp essentially had to take out this hard stance against affiliate marketing.</p>
<p>So, if you have any plans to leverage affiliate marketing with your online business, I would recommend AWeber, which is exactly what I use, as they allow affiliate marketing. The other area that you might run into trouble with, which a friend of mine ran into, is if you are sending any emails related to making money.</p>
<p>So I didn&#8217;t personally run into this issue when I sent emails about the stock market and my investing course through Mailchimp, but a close friend of mine sent out a free guide on how to make money online, he was not doing affiliate marketing or anything, and he was banned from Mailchimp because it was make money online content, they don&#8217;t seem to like, make money online, anything related to, get rich.</p>
<p>They block all that out, because they see it as a high risk category that they just don&#8217;t wanna be associated with, because the potential for someone being a scam artist in that category is unfortunately significantly higher.</p>
<p>So, if you have a business, a cake decorating business, something like that, Mailchimp is perfect for you, and you have that free plan available. But if you&#8217;re doing personal brand building, if your doing affiliate marketing, anything related to making money, that is when I would recommend AWeber, and you don&#8217;t wanna have to start somewhere else, and then get banned or have to mitigate and switch over to a new email marketing service, it is a huge pain in the butt.</p>
<p>But overall, I will say this, Mailchimp has a very sleek design. And then another pro that I have here for Mailchimp, one of the reasons why I like them, is that they offer build-in landing pages that honestly look pretty good.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll go ahead and show you one that I had created at one point when I was offering a Passive Income Masterclass event. This is right through Mailchimp, it&#8217;s not ClickFunnels, it&#8217;s not anything else, and it&#8217;s included with even the free plan, so you can have landing pages where you can collect emails.</p>
<p>Otherwise, if you use something like AWeber, you&#8217;re gonna have to go through a separate landing page provider like ClickFunnels, however, they have the best landing pages out there, so I would actually recommend that route if you&#8217;re serious about having high converting landing pages.</p>
<p>But if you&#8217;re just getting started, Mailchimp does offer basic landing pages that I have found to be pretty effective and it&#8217;s an added bonus that I really enjoy about Mailchimp. So, basically the two pros here for Mailchimp are that they offer, the free plan up to 2000 subscribers, and they offer built-in landing page, but the huge con is that they do not allow affiliate marketing, they have a hard stance against it, and they also don&#8217;t like people sending out emails related to making money, get rich, anything in that category.</p>
<p>So, if your business is related to that, I would stay away from Mailchimp and personally I would use AWeber. But anyways guys, that&#8217;s gonna wrap up this video. That is in my opinion the two best email marketing softwares out there right now.</p>
<p>Like I said, if you wanna go ahead and grab that free guide from AWeber, that also comes with the 45 plus email templates, and a free course, that&#8217;s the top link in the description below. And I also have an affiliate link if you decide that you do wanna sign up for AWeber.</p>

<p>Do you want to know how to build an email list and how to get started easily, then this video is for you. My name is Michael from online zero to hero, and if you have looked into making money online or into how to grow an online business, then you have probably heard that email marketing is still one of the most effective ways of doing this.</p>
<p>But it can seem a little bit overwhelming to get started. I know when I first started. It took me way too long to get started because I thought it would be really difficult, but luckily it does not have to be difficult, and in this video, I will show you how you can very easily get started by using Aweber.</p>
<p>So you can start building your email list today, no matter your experience, and I will even show you a method that you can use to start building an email list even without a website. So I will show you how to build an email list using Aweber because this is the autoresponder the email tool.</p>
<p>I am using myself and I have been using it for quite a few years because it is just very easy to use and they also have great support and you can even get started for free. So the first step, if you are not already a member of Aweber, is to of course create an account there, and, as I mentioned, you can create an account and actually get started and get your first 500 subscribers completely for free, and I will leave a link below this video here that will take you to the signup page, so you can get started and then I will now show you two methods that will make it easy for you to start building your email list.</p>
<p>So the first method I will show you is a method that you can use, even if you do not have a website, so no matter what type of business you have or how you want to collect leads, then you can use this method to get started to Collect leads and then send emails to follow up then convert that into sales.</p>
<p>So once you have your Aweber account and you are logged in then there is a tab up here called landing pages, so you click here and then you can simply just create a new landing page and what is great is that they have these different templates.</p>
<p>So you do not have to be a good graphic designer or anything like that, which I personally really like, because they have all these great templates. You can just scroll through here and they also regularly add new templates here.</p>
<p>So I will just try to find one. I think I&#8217;ll go for a fairly basic and simple one. You can just keep going through here and, of course, you can also just adjust them as you want to and change images and colors, and you can also build one from scratch yourself.</p>
<p>As you can see up here, so I will choose this one: that&#8217;s called simple sign up and then I will just choose a template and then you get in here where you can design the page. You can leave it as it is. Of course, you would need to change the text, but if you like the images you can change that you can upload your logo here.</p>
<p>You can also drag and drop different elements over here and decide if you want to add these different things here. So whatever element you want to change, you can just click it, and then you can over here see the different settings.</p>
<p>For example, if I wanted to change the background, I would click the background, and then I could remove this image and upload a new image and I could also make it transparent. If I wanted to, I could change the colors of the buttons and all these different things here, and that goes for all the elements you can see every time.</p>
<p>I click something you get different options over here and, as I mentioned also over here, you have different options. So if I wanted to add a button or if I wanted to add a video, then I could also do that here, and let&#8217;s say you wanted something else and the name and the email.</p>
<p>You can click this area here and you can see over here there&#8217;s, something name and email, and I could also choose other form fields here and you can also create custom fields if you want to &#8211; or I could also remove it.</p>
<p>If I, for example, did not want to collect names, I just want to make it as easy as possible and just get the email. So then you can do that here. You could also show that here there&#8217;s, email privacy so that it will link to the privacy policy if you want the two people to actually get the option to do that before signing up here.</p>
<p>So there&#8217;s. A lot to play around with here, but they have some great templates. That makes it very easy to get started, and once you are done, you can either click preview here or you can just save and exit.</p>
<p>And then you get an overview of your different landing pages and you can create a lot of different ones for different purposes. If you want to create leads for different campaigns or for different businesses, you can do that here and then you can click here to publish it and you see how the page is live and then the right here that then the next step is, of course, starting To send traffic to that site and you can start sharing the site, so people can actually find it, so they can sign up by clicking this button here and then you get the settings here.</p>
<p>You can see it is published. I can un-publish it if I want to, and you can then copy the URL here and if I then just open the screen in incognito mode here and then I paste the URL in here, and then you can see.</p>
<p>This is the landing page. So it is actually live. You do not need a website. You do not need a domain. This is now connected to my email list here inside Aweber, and it did really not take long. Of course, you can spend quite a bit of time adjusting with the logo and the colors and everything, but overall this is an amazing way to be able to have a landing page and collect leads, even if you do not have a website.</p>
<p>So that means, if you have a youtube channel or if you have customers on social media or anything else, then you can start sending traffic here and actually build an email list even without a website.</p>
<p>So that was the first method. I wanted to show you the next one is here: something called sign-up forms, so you click here to get there, and then you can create a new sign-up form here, and just as with the landing pages, you get a lot of different templates here.</p>
<p>You can show more here. There are different styles, you can see if you wanted something that is appropriate for a blog or for consulting business money. All kinds of different things here you can just choose whatever topic is relevant for you.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s. Try to see these ones that would be relevant for traveling according to what it says, and then they have all these templates here. You can see I can go through here and there definitely are a lot to choose from.</p>
<p>So let me just take a random one here and you can see, then I get a preview of it here and I can then choose to load it, and then you have a signup form here, and these signup forms are then actually meant to be embedded on.</p>
<p>Your website so contrary to the landing pages, you will actually need a website to be able to use these sign-up forms here. But if you have a website there are a lot of great designs. This is not the best one, to be honest here, but you can just try all these different ones here, and they have many and new ones are also added all the time here and then you can again choose if you want to add some different fields here Or you can change the header you can add here with the links with the privacy.</p>
<p>If I want to delete anything here, I could also delete this one here. I can change the image. I can delete it there and add a new one you can see here. I could just remove it, so there are all kinds of options here to create the signup forms that you want.</p>
<p>Personally, I think that the advantage of this is that they have also these templates here, so you do not have to spend too much time actually creating one yourself, for example. This one would be great if you had a blog, a website, or any kind of business that had to do with winter sports, for example.</p>

<p>How to create automated emails within a web? Ah hi guys it&#8217;s Sam day, hear from databse comm helping serious entrepreneurs like you to boost sales to your products and services online using simple, but super effective online marketing tips and tricks.</p>

<p>So in this video we&#8217;re speaking all about email marketing and in particular I&#8217;m, going to be showing you how to set up an automated email sequence within a web bar now. Aweber is a software that I personally use for.</p>
<p>My email marketing needs and it&#8217;s, a software that I highly recommend that you use as well. It&#8217;s, super easy and intuitive to use, and if you are selling a product or offering a service or in any type of business &#8211; and you want to generate leads or sales online, then you absolutely must be using some sort of email, marketing, software And Aweber is extremely affordable and really robust as well.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve got a full Aweber tutorial and I &#8216; Ll leave a link to that in the description down below, but in this video I want to show you how to get those automated emails. So when someone pops into one of your opt-in pages or if someone actually purchases a product from you, you can actually set them, put them on a list and you can schedule them to receive emails.</p>
<p>And I&#8217;m, going to show you how to do that. So, as you can see, I&#8217;m actually on a weber at the moment, and the very first thing you want to do is make sure you&#8217;re in the right list, so my current list is weight.</p>
<p>Loss tips list, so you want to make sure you&#8217;re. Actually you actually select the list that you want to create the follow-up series for that super important, make sure you&#8217;re, not creating a follow-up series for the wrong email list.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m gonna be doing future videos on how to create lists and how to upload emails to Aweber and so on and so forth. So those videos will come soon, but you want to make sure that you&#8217;re in the messages tab and then go down to follow-up series.</p>
<p>So this is how you create automated follow-up. Syriza&#8217;s within a web bar. So when someone opts in or when someone makes a purchase, they receive these emails automatically. So we&#8217;re going to set that up now.</p>
<p>If you to create message the drop-down menu, you can actually create an email message with the drag-and-drop email builder. You can create a plain text message or you can use the HTML editor. Now I have a video on how to use the HTML editor and I&#8217;ll.</p>
<p>Leave that video in the description down below just in case you want more designs, then Aweber actually has available for you. But I&#8217;m gonna use the drag-and-drop email template for the purposes of this video, and it will take you to here where you can actually start creating your email.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m gonna put in here test email, and you can see the prefix here as well. This is automatically here for you and it means that when you actually send this out to your email list, it will say hi first name.</p>
<p>So if they&#8217;ve, given you a first name, then you can actually introduce yourself to your list subscribers by their name, and I always do this. I think it&#8217;s, a great addition to your email marketing and you can just put something like welcome, because this will be the first email they receive to our newsletter.</p>
<p>Please see attached gift, as promised. So one thing that&#8217;s important to remember is if this is an opt-in page that you&#8217;re, creating the follow-up series for you may have promised something. So I speak a lot about lead generation and giving something of value for free.</p>
<p>In return for a name and an email address, and it&#8217;s very good to do that in the very first email that they receive. So if some, if you, if you&#8217;re, offering a free ebook or a free, video or whatnot, you&#8217;re going to want to make sure that they automatically received that on the first email and as you can see down here, you Can add an attachment, so when you click on that button, I mean it takes you to your desktop, where you can actually find whatever it is that you want to attach and make sure it&#8217;s included within your first automated email that someone gets So when you&#8217;ve finished with creating your email, you want to click, save and exit, and it will automatically be in your drafts.</p>
<p>So you want to click on, send options and add to follow-up series, and when you do that it will give you a message saying follow up the number. One is the welcome message your subscribers will get immediately after signing up.</p>
<p>So you want to add this to your follow-up series and, as you can see just as it mentioned, this will be your email number one. Now I&#8217;m, going to be showing you how you can kind of change this. If you didn&#8217;t want it to be your email number one, but let&#8217;s, go ahead and create another email.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s say we wanted free emails. I&#8217;m gonna go ahead and do the same thing and create three different emails and add them to my follow-up series. So I&#8217;m gonna name this one email too, and I&#8217;m gonna save an exit, and I&#8217;m gonna add this to the follow-up series and, as you can see, I can actually create an interval.</p>
<p>So at the moment my email one will be sent immediately as soon as someone opts in and this one will be sent one day after the previous email. But if I want it, if I want my subscribers to receive this email automatically, let&#8217;s say a week after they receive the first email.</p>
<p>Then all I have to do is change this to seven and they will receive this a week later. I can also edit the send window as well, so if I want them to receive this on a specific day at a specific time, then I can kind of change that as well.</p>
<p>Now I normally just leave it as this, because what this will do is it will send it to them at the exact same time that they opted in. So let&#8217;s, say for example, I come across your website and I opt in at 7 p.</p>
<p>m. on a Monday and the second email is 7 days later. Then I will receive that email, the second email on a Monday at 7 p.m. as well. I tend to leave it like that, because normally, if someone&#8217;s, opting in at that time, it&#8217;s, probably because that&#8217;s the time they&#8217;re available and they&#8217;re, probably more likely To actually open your emails at that time as well, so there are something to keep in mind.</p>
<p>You can also track clicks on website links in messages. I highly recommend that you keep that on, because that&#8217;s, really important data that you&#8217;re, going to be able to track. Who is actually opening your emails? How many? What percentage of people are opening your emails? And you can really use this to a what emails are performing better than others and maybe tweaking the ones that are not getting as many clicks or as many opens so on and so forth.</p>
<p>You can also select send messages based on each subscribers local time, so that kind of a soft explanatory. If you wanted to send it based on their local time, then you can. You can also apply these these days and times to all messages in this list.</p>
<p>If you wanted to and then when you finished with all of those settings literally just click Add to follow-up, and it will add it to your follow-up series. Now I&#8217;m, going to add one more email to this series, so I&#8217;ve named this email free, but another thing that I wanted to point out is the fact that you can actually preview and test.</p>
<p>This is something that I highly recommend that you do when you&#8217;re. Creating your emails is click the preview and test button, and this allows you to send a test email to your own email account. So you can choose what email account you actually want to send that test to.</p>
<p>So you can proofread your email and see how it actually looks in email format. Before you add it to your follow-up series or before you send that particular email to your list, but essentially I&#8217;m. Adding my email free and I&#8217;m gonna.</p>
<p>Add that to my follow-up series &#8211; and maybe I want this to be sent again seven days after they received they lost email. So my the people who come onto this list will receive one email a week or one automated email a week and, as you can see, I &#8216;</p>
<p>Ve got my free emails here. These emails will automatically send to my subscribers in Aweber and if I change my mind &#8211; and I want email free to be second, all I have to do is click on this little toggle button and drag it on top of it and, as you can see now, I&#8217;m off email.</p>
<p>Free is now number two anymore. Two is now number three at any time as well. I can send a test email. I can delete this email. I can copy this to my drafts and that might be something important to do as well.</p>
<p>Maybe you want to change your entire email follow-up series, but you don&#8217;t want to delete it. You can copy it to your drafts, so you have a copy on your drafts and then you can kind of leave from your follow-up series.</p>
<p>You can also change your settings as well. If you go into settings &#8211; and you can edit your settings here so your window in terms of how many days after this, the person will receive this particular email, and you can also check your spam score as well to see how many of your emails are ended.</p>
<p>Up in spam and how many I ended up in inbox is obviously you want to end up in inboxes, not in spam. Now I will leave a link to a web, but in the description down below make sure you go and click that link.</p>
<p>That should give you a free trial of Aweber. If you&#8217;re, not using it already, I highly recommend to go in and test an Aweber out. It&#8217;s, an amazing tool. I personally use it and highly recommend it now that will be my affiliate link as well, and that just helps support the channel out it doesn&#8217;t cost you any more.</p>

<p>So let&#8217;s, get started at the time of shooting this video. You can use aweber for free as long as you stay below 500 contacts and below 3 000 emails per month. So the first step is to go down to the description of this video and click on the first link you find there and that will take you to aweber, where you can get that free aweber account.</p>
<p>So do that now and we&#8217;ll move on from there all right, so that first link in the video description will take it to this page right here, where we can go ahead and get a free aweber account. Now, as you see here with the free plan that they&#8217;re, offering you pretty much get everything you need to start with email marketing, so you get email marketing, which just means email broadcasts, email, newsletters.</p>
<p>Then you get automations. You get landing pages. Signup forms integrations and also customer support, and that&#8217;s quite a lot if you compare it with other email marketing providers and their free plan.</p>
<p>So i think that&#8217;s, pretty good. If you want to have a more detailed overview of what is included in each plan, you can just head over to the pricing tab right there, and then you see exactly what is included in each in each plan, so they have basically two plans.</p>
<p>The pro plan and the free plan and, like i said a lot of the main features, are already included in the free plan and you can use it for free up to 500 subscribers. So i would definitely suggest you start with the free plan and then once you have more than 500 subscribers, you can just upgrade to the pro plan and if you pay monthly, that will be 19 per month.</p>
<p>So let &#8216; S actually go ahead and get started with a free aweber account. So to do that we just click on get aweber free right here and then we just get started with typing in our first name and our last name right here and also our email address.</p>
<p>I usually sign up with a gmail address and not really an address that is connected to my domain, because if at some point i switch domains or something then i will not be, i will not have access to that email address.</p>
<p>So i really like to just sign up with a simple gmail address and then add my kind of domain address, which is simon medics media.com. I will add that later, which will i&#8217;m, going to show you how to do to actually be able to send out emails from my branded email address, so just go ahead and click sign up right here.</p>
<p>Okay, so now we have received an email from aweber that we have to open and then confirm the email address that we have just used to sign up for aweber, so go to your email inbox and then find that email that aweber has just sent you.</p>
<p>So this is what the email looks like that you&#8217;ll, be getting from aweber to confirm your account, and all we have to do here is just click on the get started button right there and that will take us back to aweber, where we Have to decide on a password so just once again type in your email address here and then decide on a password and then click on save password all right.</p>
<p>So now we&#8217;re at the part where aweber asks us to decide on a plan and as you&#8217;ve seen before aweber has two plans, so they have their pro plan right here, which starts at 16.15 per month. If you go for the annual payment and they have the free plan, which is basically free for up to 500 subscribers and up to 3 000 emails per month, if you want to go for the pro plan, maybe because you have more than 500 subscribers &#8211; that you Want to import to aweber, and then you can just choose the pro plan and type in all your payment information right here, but probably most people are watching this tutorial.</p>
<p>The free plan will be more than enough and everything i&#8217;m, showing you inside of this tutorial will be doable with the free plan, so that&#8217;s. What i&#8217;m going to do here, i&#8217;m. Just going to go ahead and sign up for the free plan, and this way we also don&#8217;t have to um sign up with any credit card information.</p>
<p>So i&#8217;m just going to go ahead and click continue right here and get started with the free plan. So now, on the next step, we can just type in our company information right here and they also ask us if we have a website.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m just going to tell them. No, i don&#8217;t have a website, and then you have to give them a physical address that&#8217;s because of the canned spam act. It&#8217;s required by law. That you have a physical address at the bottom of every email that you send out using a software like aweber and that&#8217;s, why you have to give them a physical address.</p>
<p>I would recommend you just give them like your business address, or maybe you have a po address that you can just type in here rather than your home address, and then you can also decide on a from name so that what will be visible in the inbox When people receive your email, it will say this as the from name, so somebody will get an email from medics media the way i have set it up right here and then once you&#8217;ve done that just click on next, and here we&#8217;re already setting up our email list, which is the place where your email contacts will be stored.</p>
<p>So we have to give our list a name. I&#8217;m, just going to name it medics media newsletter, and then we also can give our email list a description, and this is what people will see when they click unsubscribe.</p>
<p>So when they don&#8217;t want to receive your emails anymore. At the bottom of every email there will be an unsubscribe link and when they click that link, they will see the description of that email.</p>
<p>So you can just type in something like this is a weekly newsletter of medics, media or whatever applies to what you&#8217;re, going to use that email list for then, once you&#8217;ve done that click. Next and now we have to approve our confirmation message so when somebody signs up to your email list by maybe typing in their information in a landing page or registration form, they&#8217;ll, receive an email requesting them to confirm their subscription to your email Newsletter and here you can decide on how this email will look like so here you can decide on a subject line, so you can have it say.</p>
<p>First name confirm your subscription, so it would say simon confirm your subscription, so i&#8217;ll. I&#8217;ll just choose this one, and then this is what the message currently looks like, and you can also edit this message.</p>
<p>So if you click on edit message, content right here, you can maybe um just say something like hey and then personalize by choosing their maybe first name, and that will say: hey simon, please click the button below blah blah blah and then the button text confirm confirm My subscription is fine and then signature.</p>
<p>Thank you and then i&#8217;m, just gonna type in something like simon and also medics media, and that looks good to me. So i&#8217;m just gonna click on complete setup cool. So now we&#8217;re inside our new aweber account and, as you can see here, aweber already wants to help us kind of adding our contacts and don&#8217;t worry, i&#8217;m, going to show you how to add contacts And all that kind of stuff in this tutorial, so it just you &#8211; can click this away by just clicking on no, i&#8217;m, getting just started and blah blah blah something else.</p>
<p>Doesn&#8217;t really matter just um. So you get to your aweber dashboard, so i&#8217;m just going to quickly walk you through the dashboard here and i&#8217;m, not going to spend too much time on it because it&#8217;s really learning by doing by Kind of setting up everything by kind of setting everything up, you will pretty quickly learn how to navigate through this software.</p>
<p>So here on the top left there&#8217;s, the kind of menu menu options where you&#8217;ll, navigate through aweber, and when you log in you will be always you always see your dashboard. So here you have some quick links.</p>
<p>If you want to add subscribers, you can create a new email right here. You can add integrations, and you will also see some stats of your latest growth of your email list and also of your latest emails.</p>
<p>How well they&#8217;re doing how good the open rate was, how many people receive the email and so on, but that&#8217;s, not really important for this tutorial, because we haven&#8217;t actually sent out emails yet um so And then, on the next menu item here, the messages this is where you actually can create new emails and new email campaigns.</p>
