<p>I know a lot of affiliates that do this. It&#8217;s highly recommended definitely set up some campaigns. Seasonal campaigns are really cool to have going. Of course, you don&#8217;t want to rely on those. You want to try to utilize these as extra infusions of cash into your business, but bottom line is when I did the post.</p>
<p>I had mentioned something about using competitive, intelligent tools. To start our PPC campaigns, our pay-per-click campaigns, so, of course that opened the door to a bunch of people. Emailing me said: hey what exactly are you using for your competitive intelligence tools for your spy tools, and I have talked a little bit about this in a previous article, but I thought it would be really nice to respond specifically because I got you literally wouldn&#8217;t believe how many emails I got.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t even know. I didn&#8217;t even count. I stopped counting after a while of emails. People saying well that&#8217;s, great, that you use the spy tools but specifically which ones so we&#8217;re, going to take the time to go through the spy tools that I utilize.</p>
<p>There are others, but we use quite a few of them, because there are advantages and disadvantages of each. So if you have them all available that&#8217;s great you, don&#8217;t have to start with them all most are paid.</p>
<p>However, a lot do have a lot of these: do have free trials or you know cheap trials. If you will so, you can really get started for free or next to free. With that being said, though, with the pricing or the price point of these tools, it should be really easy for you to earn back a multiple of that fee, a significant multiple of that fee each month, if you&#8217;re paying monthly.</p>
<p>The only reason you really shouldn&#8217;t be getting a good return with these tools is, if you&#8217;re, simply not taking action on the research that you do, which brings me to another point. If you are going to utilize and pay for these spy tools, you know use them, create campaigns, don&#8217;t just do research and say: oh that looks like a profitable campaign.</p>
<p>I know a lot of guys that have spiked tools and they&#8217;re, really good at doing the research and pulling campaigns, but then they kind of sit on them, which is a complete waste. So the whole point is to gain competitive intelligence and then launch into profitable campaigns by executing right.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s, go ahead and get with the specific tools that we utilize and why we utilize them. Maybe some pros and cons so that you guys have a specific answer to what we use as per request. So here we go.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s start out with PPC. The pay per click tools that we utilize are a little cheaper than some of the media, buy tools and the banner tools. So let&#8217;s start here. Key works by is the first one that we utilize really two main.</p>
<p>If you will PPC specific spy tools, keywords by and spyfu, so let&#8217;s start with keyword spy. There is a free trial which is really cool. You can you can test this thing out a great interface. It&#8217;s, easy to use.</p>
<p>You know a kindergartner can use it. So, with these spy tools, you have the ability to type in a domain name. If you know a specific domain, name is bidding on a lot of key terms that you&#8217;re interested in a keyword or destination URL.</p>
<p>So, for example, if if you know there are specific affiliates promoting a specific offer, you know you can slap in the destination URL. It will track that there&#8217;s, also affiliate intelligence which can track affiliate, IDs and such so there.</p>
<p>There are a lot of really cool tools. You guys can dig into the specifics. I won&#8217;t waste your time here, but definitely take a look at keyword spines by food. So, instead of going through very specific features, let&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Just do a quick search and I&#8217;ll show you guys really quick how it works. Let&#8217;s, just use ebay&#8217;s are sample and when you type an eBay, it &#8216; Ll pull up the basic overview. So this gives you the trend of their daily budget, which is nice to see you get some other stats here.</p>
<p>There took clicks and add position and average cost per click which their approximating, of course, all the six million keywords. So this is really awesome. Now these tabs, at the top start to break things down in a little bit more detail.</p>
<p>So if you want to look at their specific ads, you click this and, of course, you see, they add that they ran on a particular keyword and the cool thing about this. Is it does a little ROI calculation? They&#8217;ve, got a little algorithm to calculate what they think would be the most profitable ads.</p>
<p>So things are sorted by ROI automatically, which is nice. It&#8217;s. Actually SemiAccurate. I mean it&#8217;s. It&#8217;s. A good i guess barometer to use in in terms of which keywords and ads are profitable for this particular domain name but anyway, so you get ROI.</p>
<p>If there&#8217;s, an affiliate thing in there are not keywords, of course, volume and cost per click, and &#8211; and this is a really powerful one &#8211; it&#8217;s days scene so out of the 944 days that they were tracking 693 of them Found this particular ad for that keyword or found this particular ad, so it&#8217;s really powerful.</p>
<p>To be able to see this, you can even sort by that column, of course, and you can determine you know how long an ad has been running. Obviously, if they&#8217;ve been paying for the ad for a significant number of days, the ad is probably profitable.</p>
<p>Therefore, if you replicate or nearly replicate the ad, you should be profitable as well, at least in the long run. Now you have to remember just specifically copying a campaign. Doesn&#8217;t ensure your success.</p>
<p>There are a lot of factors, especially with like Adwords and their quality score, and things like that that determine if you&#8217;re, going to be profitable with your ad. There are a whole host of factors, but all things being equal.</p>
<p>This is a fantastic way to gauge or get a jump on, which keywords and ads are going to before you. So anyway, click on the adds and then, of course, the keywords, the cool thing about these things, as you can export export.</p>
<p>This entire thing, which is awesome so you get you, can literally export directly Google AdWords editor files and the Bing files in etc. So you can export and literally take them and import that file right into your account.</p>
<p>Your PPC account and your live. That quick and, of course you can just export via standard CSV an excel sheet such and then they have organic keywords to and then of course, competitors which is kind of cool.</p>
<p>Now let&#8217;s, go back to the overview thing to speak, a little bit about competitors, real, quick, something else I use so once we start to pin down a really good campaign with the keywords in the ads that we think are working for a Particular domain, then we start to look at the competitors because obviously relevant competitors are going to have different keywords and different ads.</p>
<p>So you can start to sort of one rock turns over another. If you will, you can start to sort of go down this path of discovering more ads, more keywords that should be profitable for you now. Another way we utilize this, which is pretty cool, don&#8217;t, forget about expanding horizontally or wide instead of deep.</p>
<p>What i mean by wide is: let&#8217;s. Say you&#8217;re. Doing you&#8217;re, doing a campaign on let&#8217;s, say: weight loss. Okay. Obviously there are going to be a lot of well. Let&#8217;s. Just do a keyword here and i&#8217;ll. Show you an example.</p>
<p>This I&#8217;m tying this portion back to another post that I did on demographic research, so check that out the demographic research and but basically are excuse me, the demographic research post. But basically, if you&#8217;re going to do a weight loss program, you have the option of going deep, which is looking specifically at weight, loss terms and weight loss sites, and things like that, which is great, obviously super targeted.</p>
<p>But also I really like to get into the the width of a campaign which is okay based on the demographic. What other sites would I be able to sites or keywords? Would I be able to advertise with that would be relevant, so I try to stay with really big niches, where I can be demographically relevant and that&#8217;s, good enough, which allows me to really get into other keywords that no one else is really Bidding on or the competition is much lower, specifically for a weight loss program right.</p>
<p>So, if you think about it, this way, like think about a regular TV ad right, you see TV ads for a lot of different things that hopefully are demographically relevant. I mean that&#8217;s, the point, but aren&#8217;t going to be relevant to every single individual there and a lot of times, even just a small percentage.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s, going to be relevant, for I mean think about you&#8217;ve, probably seen attorney ads that are doing. You know these these mass lawsuits against pharmaceutical companies right. So if you&#8217;ve ever taken, etc, you know insert drug here, call us well how many people do you think they&#8217;re actually hitting it.</p>
<p>Obviously it&#8217;s. It&#8217;s, a simple numbers game. You&#8217;re. Looking at the demographic you&#8217;re, saying, okay of this demographic, you know, maybe four percent are relevant if we get X number of conversions from that four percent, we are profitable with our ad that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Fine, so demographically, relevant niches or niches, where it&#8217;s, easy to be demographically, relevant on a large scale or where I like to play, because that&#8217;s, where you can make the most money that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Where you have the most leeway to be wide with your campaigns and you&#8217;re, not really competing in a very narrow, specific market, so things like weight, loss and and biz op, and you know all those different things, skin care, etc.</p>
<p>So bottom line is the reason I wanted to show you this was you can start to expand widthwise based on demographics, like I spoke about in the other and the other tutorial, so let&#8217;s say we&#8217;re, doing weight loss and Let&#8217;s say we know one of the big weight loss.</p>
<p>Demographics is women aged 32. You know 45 whatever it is, that&#8217;s. What we found during our research, based on the article or the post, that I did earlier, so we we&#8217;ve, got that now. What we like to do during that demographic research is pull a lot of domains and relevant sites that this demographic visits, so we might say or and keywords as well of course, so they might be typing in keywords of you &#8211; know: weight loss and losing weight, but That 30 to 45 year old woman is also typing in gucci purse.</p>
<p>Right so another way to expand wide definitely is to pull out your demographically, relevant domains and pull keywords for them as well. So don&#8217;t, just pull relevant keywords for weight loss, pull relevant demographically, relevant keywords that you found during doing your demographic research so again utilizing the spy tools it&#8217;s kind of a a deep and wide method.</p>
<p>So once you choose a key term, a or a domain name that you want to replicate, you of course export all the ads that look like they&#8217;re profitable in all the keywords, and then you go back to your demographic research and go okay.</p>
<p>What other keywords are relevant here and then you type those into your keyword, spy tool and you pull relevant ads from the spy tool based on the wide demographic that you&#8217;re, not hitting. I hope that makes that makes sense, so you have deep, which is very, very specific, and then you have wide, which is specific to a demographic I mean you don&#8217;t want to just be so wide that it&#8217;s, not relevant, But being wide enough to where you can start to lose competitors as good there&#8217;s, a lot of people, for example, bidding on Gucci purse, probably are not doing offers for weight loss.</p>
<p>While I probably just made a fool of myself, there probably are, but you get the point you will be able to find. You know side niches there which are demographically relevant, but no one else is advertising that specific thing now, with that being said, do you have quality score issues because it&#8217;s, not specifically relevant? Well, yes, you can, but if it&#8217;s, a demographically, relevant ad and it&#8217;s, a really good ad, you&#8217;re, going to have a high click-through rate which helps your quality score.</p>
<p>Okay, and you&#8217;re. Going to be paying, hopefully a lot less when you go so wide, so a little higher quality score is okay. It helps offset the whole deal so anyway. Just wanted to make that point clear and tie these two posts together.</p>
<p>You know you want to do your demographic research deep, but you also want to use or excuse me. You want to do your keyword and domain research on the spy tools deep, but you also want to do them wide based upon the demographic research that you&#8217;ve done previously, okay, so hopefully that was a little more clear that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>A few different topics there and it mixed together. So hopefully I was almost clear in my language, but so this is keyword, spy, that&#8217;s, how it works very cool tool, spyfu same same basic thing: why do I use both of them again? One particular product has more or less relevance in certain areas might have a domain name available for one and then the other might have a lot of keywords for one and not the other, etc, etc.</p>
<p>So we use them both. I think spy foods like 80 or 90 bucks a month, the psoas keyword spy, a drop in the bucket. If you&#8217;re serious about making money online and again you have money back guarantees and trials and those types of things.</p>
<p>So those are the paperclip tools that I utilize keywords buying spy food. Let&#8217;s, move on to a broader competitive intelligence tool, which does a whole lot of things and that&#8217;s. What runs where? What runs where calm this thing? Does everything so it&#8217;s more expensive? I think it&#8217;s like it&#8217;s like 220 bucks a month or so again, don&#8217;t.</p>
<p>Let the price scare you you don&#8217;t have to have these tools. These are just nice things to have when you&#8217;re making money. But again, if you can&#8217;t make that kind of money back with the amount of intelligence that this gathers for you, then you&#8217;re, just not taking action.</p>
<p>So what runs rare is awesome because it not only does well here we can click on features it. Not only does you know PPC ads, but bent the if you do any display buys at all which is highly recommended at you know at some point in your career.</p>
<p>This does awesome competitive intelligence for banners. It does texts you can search by here. You can see advertiser by the placement. It gives you all kinds of really cool stuff. It&#8217;s international. So if you do any, you know non-us campaigns again.</p>
<p>Another highly recommended thing. Then it &#8216; S got all that data. They&#8217;re, really really powerful tool and it&#8217;s got so many features. I don&#8217;t have time to go through them. It&#8217;s awesome. So what runs? Where is really good? Another tool, similar tool, add beat another awesome tool.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s. We have this one as well, so we have all four of keywords by spyfu. What runs where and add beat the one I utilize most often is probably what runs where now. I have a team that does that sets the campaign&#8217;s up for me in and does a lot of the research.</p>
<p>You know that I split profits with so i don&#8217;t. I&#8217;m, not real, hands-on with this stuff anymore. However, i still use what runs were quite a bit and it&#8217;s, probably the one i go to most often and then, if i have something very PPC specific, i&#8217;ll hit keyword spines by foo, and then, if i want to Gather extra stuff &#8211; I I usually hit, add, beat and see what I can what I can drum up.</p>
<p>So those are the four tools that I recommend: that&#8217;s kind of how to utilize them how to tie them into your demographic research as well. Don&#8217;t forget the really powerful crosstalk feature. I call of you know other competitors when you start to search for one.</p>
<p>So turn one rack over fine for more highly recommended to go through that process. You&#8217;ll, build a really big campaign to start testing with. So hopefully that answered your questions, guys on what specific spy tools that we utilize their.</p>

<p>com is usually 49 a month. Just for youtube, while vidtao is completely free and another thing to keep in mind, is i found that sometimes vidtal works better and sometimes power. Ad spy works better, so i would actually encourage getting both, but let&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Do the side by side comparison. First and then we&#8217;ll uh, we&#8217;ll declare a winner so guys the four advertisers we&#8217;re gonna test with are organifi, onewheel, kevin david and the sales mentor. So we got a mix of e-commerce as well as info, so let&#8217;s check out organifi right, so we&#8217;re going to go in here and this is the power add supply.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re, going to check there first and we&#8217;re, going to go by search by advertiser put in organifi. Oh so it looks like they&#8217;re, multiple organifi channels, so it looks like there&#8217;s. Organifi channel organifi pure so that&#8217;s, something that&#8217;s interesting, is that vid uh, basically power ad spy, actually pulls different advertisers.</p>
<p>So i think there was one we found and then i think fitlife tv is the other one. I&#8217;ve, seen: oh there we go fitlife tv, so here we go so we had one that we found from organifi life channel and now we have um this one from fitlife tv.</p>
<p>So there&#8217;s, one two, three, four, five, six, seven! Oh, i think there&#8217;s still more um wait. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. That&#8217;s. 18. Videos. Oh wait! There&#8217;s still more 19, 20 21 jesus, 22, 23, 24, 25, okay, 26, 27, 28, 29, jeez.</p>
<p>I think yeah, okay, there&#8217;s. A lot there&#8217;s a lot of ads. Now let&#8217;s check on here and see what we can find. I think we have to check by organifi organifi. Okay, there we go all right. Okay, so organifi also does really well on here um.</p>
<p>So there&#8217;s. It&#8217;s, picking up videos from organifi as well as fit live tv uh. Let&#8217;s. Just look at fitlife tv and see how that does so. We &#8216; Ve got one two three four, five, six, seven, eight nine 12.</p>
<p>15. 18. 20.. So this one, i think, actually wins out because um, i think we&#8217;re like 30 to 40 in here, and it&#8217;s still scrolling. So the first one for organifi, fitlife tv events &#8211; i mean um for the first one power &#8211; adds five wins out all right.</p>
<p>So the next one we&#8217;re gonna look at is one wheel. So i&#8217;ll. Put that in here and search all right, so here&#8217;s, one wheel, so i&#8217;m gonna keep scrolling all right. I think that&#8217;s, all we got so 1. 2. 3. 6.</p>
<p>9. 12. 15. 17. 19.. So we got 19 here, let&#8217;s check out here. Okay, so you &#8216; Ve got one two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine got it so looks like power power at spivens in this case as well and kevin david.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s check out kevin david, so there we go one two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten! Okay! We got more all right, so we got a lot here. I don&#8217;t even know. I think they&#8217;re, pulling up pretty much every kevin david ad ever, which is pretty cool, but you can see there are a lot of ads that didn&#8217;t get that many views, but then there are others that did so.</p>
<p>This is a very comprehensive tool. Now let&#8217;s, look at vidtal all right, vidtao as well. Okay, i&#8217;ll call this one: a tie um both with tau and um powerade spy picked up plenty of the videos from kevin david.</p>
<p>The one difference is, it seems like vidtal&#8217;s better at picking up videos that have more views, while uh powered spy just seems to be able to do like all the videos which is really awesome, because you can really see what ads didn&#8217;t work that well for them, but yeah.</p>
<p>This is cool um. Both of these tools are great, i would probably say, with power ads by still vince out a bit more um in the kevin david. It seems like this might be like 90 plus, while this might be like 30, so great tools, both of them.</p>
<p>Now let&#8217;s, try the sales mentor, so the sales mentor is also something i&#8217;ve been seeing. They&#8217;ve, been killing the info info game lately with their ads. So let&#8217;s, see how they&#8217;re doing all right. Let&#8217;s, see 6.</p>
<p>9. 12. 15. 18. 21. 24. You can see that these ads didn&#8217;t, do that. Well, right, like this, one only got 2.9k um. You can kind of see like the ads that were made for youtube actually perform way better, so that i think there&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Like 20, something 6, 9. 12. 15. 18. 21. 24. 27. So we got 27 on here. Let&#8217;s. Look on here all right, one, two, three! Four: five! Six, nine eleven all right! So we got 11 or so i&#8217;ll check on the channel to see if we can find more yeah, so power, ad spy wins out and here as well so yeah.</p>
<p>Basically, if you&#8217;re, looking for a more comprehensive solution, power spy seems to win, but it is expensive. It&#8217;s 50 a month. Vidtal, on the other hand, is completely free and it gives you the best performing videos.</p>
<p>So the videos that have the most views show up on vidtal power. Ad spy is just a little bit more comprehensive. So at our agency we use both um vittel. Personally, i like the a uh, the ui a bit more, but power ad spy definitely is more comprehensive.</p>
<p>So if you&#8217;re really trying to dig deep in to see what work didn&#8217;t work for another client. We can go in here now. The cool thing about power ad spy is all the filters it&#8217;s really cool. How many filters they have in here.</p>
<p>You can filter by language which is really cool. So you can. You know if we run a portuguese language offer, so we can basically look for ads in that offer in that language uh by country by call to action.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m, not sure what the call to action is here um and then there&#8217;s like marketing platforms. So you can. You can just look for ads that go to shopify stores. You can look for ads that go to clickbank offers and you can look at ads that go to click funnels landing pages or leadpages landing pages.</p>
<p>So if you&#8217;re looking for info, you can filter by click funnels and get all the best in full offers. If you&#8217;re looking for best ecommerce offers, you can look at one of these um. This is really really a powerful tool.</p>
<p>Now vidtal. As i said, it&#8217;s fast, it&#8217;s, lightweight it&#8217;s, got a nice ui and it&#8217;s, easy to use um, but it definitely doesn&#8217;t have the power of power at spy, Which makes sense, because powered spy is a paid tool like vidtal.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re, just doing it for free for you guys so uh yeah. So my suggestion is get both um. If you can afford it power ads by. If you&#8217;re on a budget with house great as well and yeah, so that basically makes sense in terms of the comparison between the two uh.</p>
<p>Oh, the one thing i like about um about vidtal is, if i actually, if you click on one of these, you actually have an estimate for ad spin now. This is obviously based on a certain cost per view, but that&#8217;s, really cool that, where you can kind of estimate how much they&#8217;re spending on ads, so that&#8217;s.</p>

<p>So a beat is awesome because it helps you find competitive, ads, competitive, Landers and competitive placements. It&#8217;s, truly the cream of the crop tool when it comes to doing competitive, spine on display and native.</p>
<p>So what do you need in order to to follow the process and layout for you? Well, you need an a/b to count and you need competitors or keywords to research, that&#8217;s where you start a beat steps. The process you find your advertisers, you explore their ads, their Landers and placements.</p>
<p>There is a ton of information you can get from ad beat you&#8217;re able to download all of it, so you can go through and process. It really amazing stuff, but it&#8217;s a great place to begin all of your gdn and native campaigns.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s head over to happy so inside of a beat now, rather than going looking at a specific company that you know, someone might be competing against. I&#8217;m just gonna look at some of the massive advertisers, so we can go through and kind of dissect them.</p>
<p>You can see how the Tool Works, but then I&#8217;m, not giving away anyone&#8217;s, trade secrets. So if I click on top advertisers, this is more or less you know the top people in the last hundred eighty days buy ad spend Google spent eighty nine million Yahoo&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Seventy Amazon 70 lower. My bills.com is the one that I was like it&#8217;s very interesting and I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve seen them. I know I&#8217;ve seen these ads. So if I click on this, that&#8217;ll come in and break down their ads by, you can still get the ads the Landers, the campaigns that networks all kinds of stuff.</p>
<p>So we see here that they&#8217;ve spent. Forty eight point: two million on Google 5.2 on advertising; four point, one on tabouleh, all kinds of stuff here, so for the sake of being very efficient with this tutorial, the reason that I&#8217;m, showing you this is the ad beat you have able To look at the ads and the Landers that&#8217;s important, but we really care about what we&#8217;re doing.</p>
<p>Gdm research is the placements, and so what we&#8217;ll do. Is we&#8217;re gonna come in and we look at the publishers, publishers or what we care about? So let&#8217;s. Look at the the new publishers and what I want to do is I&#8217;m gonna look at the active filters so 180 days all networks.</p>
<p>I want to look at their Google Network to see who they&#8217;re spending with so Inquisitor com. If we look at these ads, so harp is expiring if you&#8217;re less than this. This is the G DM ad network as Google, and, if someone clicked on it, this is the obviously this is the landing page they come to.</p>
<p>You can see what everything looks like their copy and then roll into their process go through and you know model yours after theirs, but, as you can see, Inquisitor com is their number one placement. In the last 180 days, they spent eight hundred forty thousand dollars or this placement.</p>
<p>So what we want to do here is click on top placement URLs, and we can, you know, investigate to see if there&#8217;s, a particular one that they&#8217;ve gone after so they&#8217;ve spent ten and a half Thousand on the secure site, seven point two on the unsecured and then you know all the little articles underneath this you can click on these and see what these are nothing about this, particularly if standing out as something that is, you know really important that there&#8217;s, a content in the contextual relation it&#8217;s, pretty much just the fact that there are you know this is.</p>
<p>This is a place that they found people who are interested in whatever is they&#8217;re teaching? The this is the right audience, and so what you can do is you come in. You can download all of these, so you can go through and upload your placements to say I want to advertise on all these.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re in competition, it you can go through looking at each one of these looking at all of their ads spent and have these reports so really incredible information when you find competitors that you want to go after that, you know we&#8217;re spending on GD n, our native, you can come in and pull this information and get you know, give yourself really a leg up as you&#8217;re doing placement research.</p>
<p>So if you are planning on doing anything in your life with banner advertising &#8211; and you do not have an ad beat account &#8211; we really need to think about that. <p>Okay, guys, I&#8217;m, going to show you how you can look at the if the competitor has a trending keyword or where they&#8217;re, getting a lot of their traffic from if there&#8217;s. Any spike for any reason, so what I did here is I put vitality for life.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m, just gonna open a few tabs to avoid traffic analytics, so he got vitality for life and they put usually takes you to domain overview, which is here that&#8217;s. Advertising research takes you to the domain overview and you click on traffic analytics and that&#8217;s here and what you can see there is a spike, some pretty big spike that came in so then next thing you want to do is to find out Where the spike came from so a lot of its direct traffic, which is really good and a big chunk, is their search traffic.</p>
<p>Now, where did that spike come from what we want to do? Is we go back into domain overview, which is I&#8217;ll click that&#8217;s, gonna come domain overview, and then that will show us a general overview of changes that we&#8217;ve had so.</p>
<p>If you look here top organic keywords, so you want to see from their organic keywords that I have a big paid spent. You can see on semrush, it compares paid versus organic. They used to have a bit of paid, but now this went to pretty much zero.</p>
<p>A lot of it is organic, so they &#8216; Ve done really well organically keyword, trendy. They had a massive spike in 2016 doesn&#8217;t, try and terms of ranking on Google brighter than it dropped all right.</p>
<p>So what you do is look at two top organic keywords. If they had a lot of page, you see what they could see here. It goes top paid keywords. You can view details and you see what they what they&#8217;re getting most, so they spend on so there&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Nothing major here, as I said, I know this company from before there&#8217;s. No massive change! I&#8217;m, not sure if that will tell you how much they&#8217;ve changed over time, but I know what they usually sell and they&#8217;ve, always sold their blenders and their dehydrators and there&#8217;s.</p>
<p>No massive change, though oh these are the only four keywords they bid on. So it&#8217;s, a really small advertising spend a lot of it is organic. So if you look at top organic keywords, you can see them there and I want to see if there&#8217;s, any major change of one, that&#8217;s, getting a biggest chunk of their traffic.</p>
<p>So you go into the organic analysis and what you want to do and I&#8217;ll, show you what I thought was the reason for this bike and I was a false alarm. So if you look at the position, if something&#8217;s moved from a low position, something like let&#8217;s, say 20 or 13 or whatever and came to number one or number.</p>
<p>Two that obviously led to a big traffic and traffic percentage is how much traffic it brings to the how much traffic it brings to the to the website. So traffic percentage is nothing majors, but mostly still the brand itself dehydrated.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve, always thought dehydrators there&#8217;s. No major spike. I don&#8217;t know what the reason for the spike it could be. Just everyone else is spiking because of culvert. A lot of people are buying online and there&#8217;s, a spike in health and wellness.</p>
<p>So one thing I thought it was and that&#8217;s, why there was a false alarm. So when I went to domain overview, I accidentally put the US, because this is an Australian website. So when I put the US and that will show you what a spike looks like when I put the US and that&#8217;s only 580, once it&#8217;s, very small, nothing worth looking at ins, they&#8217;ve, been dropping Considerably for the last few years they don&#8217;t sell in the US.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t. Think and but if you look at the US, you &#8216; Ll see there&#8217;s, organic top organic keywords, Cerreta versus rainbow, and that never existed before that takes 16 percent of their traffic, which is really high.</p>
<p>So that made me think that that was the reason they had a massive spike now, because of this Sarina vacuum cleaner they were selling, so you can click on position, changes and see. If anything&#8217;s changed so no shelf.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s. Change, but what you&#8217;re, looking for so boric when you do this on a fortnightly basis, you need to look at something that was this difference between juice and culprits. They&#8217;ve, ranked well on this one, but you see something where they were.</p>
<p>They were badly ranked and there&#8217;s, suddenly ranking really well. You see how their ranking pretty well on this one, the vibration machine, which they&#8217;re, ranking well in the US. What does that mean? The vibration machines are ranking around the u.</p>
<p>s. see that&#8217;s? Another trend that I got from from looking at some rush looking at competitors. So when I go into Google Trends, I know that the vibration machine, the main one, is called powerful. A sport vibration machine, let&#8217;s, say you don&#8217;t, know the main leading brand.</p>
<p>So if you look at the vibration machine there, you can see this massive spike suddenly from 42 to peaking a hundred so doubled in from in April. To it just doubled, and now it&#8217;s, just dropping back, so obviously it&#8217;s, a massive spike.</p>
<p>If you look at the past five, we see how big the spike is: vibration, machine but bigger that&#8217;s ever been. If you look at the main brand, they&#8217;re selling vibration machines. You see it&#8217;s powerful and look at this because happening in the US.</p>
<p>So we&#8217;re launching urgently in the u.s. they&#8217;re powerful. So that&#8217;s, an overview of how you can find trends. Samia&#8217;s trending up so I saw vitality for life trending up. I immediately research that keywords to see the reason they were trending up.</p>
<p>Doesn&#8217;t seem, they&#8217;re, launched anything new, but they&#8217;re a long time ago. I did the same exercise and I found out about powerful funny enough in Australia. I didn&#8217;t know about the brand, but they started selling it as they spiked up.</p>
<p>We sold it and made a lot of money because we followed their lead. Now we try to find a trending product first, but sometimes competitors to do that before us and that&#8217;s, how you can finally dig into organic research and then you can look at you, traffic analytics.</p>
<p>We did domain overview and then another thing we do is look at the paid traffic. So let&#8217;s. Look at our own website, for example. Now it is again lagging, but let&#8217;s, see if there&#8217;s. Anything new that got so us or really Australia.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s, go to Australia, so analyze. My own company see well traffic. You if you look at traffic analytics, is different, but anyway let&#8217;s. Look at there&#8217;s! No spike, but we need to look at traffic analysis, which is the best source.</p>
<p>So if we&#8217;re going to dig into traffic analytics, we see Australia and we could see that it&#8217;s relatively steady. There&#8217;s, a rise here between March and April than a drop so that rise from March and April February to April so one up from 20k.</p>
<p>So one about fifty percent, it&#8217;s most again as it is covered. But let&#8217;s, see if there&#8217;s, anything that indicates so if you look at top paid keywords, so there&#8217;s, a lot more paid traffic for free d. You see here it&#8217;s, about half of organic is no higher the vitality for life.</p>
<p>So if you go to top paid keywords there we go position. One Ninja, Blender, breadmaker, all right. That was new that in cell bread-making before I know I didn&#8217;t sell but make it before. But let&#8217;s, see the details.</p>
<p>[ Music ] see position changes some researching my own company to see if to show you how we can find a trending product at a competitive website. Okay position changes sets in terms of advertising thing so best blenders from nothing number one optimum blender number one free.</p>
<p>Did you see ur bread maker number, two, listen you and artisan diamond blender so blenders. We know they&#8217;re selling juicers. They knew, though we&#8217;ll, look into a free. Did you see the advertising on that lesson? You why the advertising? Just here then we go on the website, would look into it and then optimum blender best blender for smoothies.</p>
<p>He research, those and I found bread maker with fruits and nuts dispenser. Alright, this didn&#8217;t exist before so. Let&#8217;s, see what they&#8217;re doing there. So that&#8217;s, how you can find what ads your competitors are running using some rush and that in a future video I&#8217;ll, get someone from my team to do.</p>
<p>I was going to the homepage. Why is he at go to the home page of our chat to my team now, unless some rush is not accurately taking it to the right page, so it doesn&#8217;t make sense to go to the home page.</p>

<p>Take already what&#8217;s working out there in your marketplace. Take those learnings and those insights and the hard earned money that your competition had to use to find out what works and what doesn&#8217;t work.</p>
<p>Take that knowledge from them and then be able to use that to your advantage so that when you launch your campaigns or when you&#8217;re optimizing your campaigns, you&#8217;re already starting out from the front because you&#8217;re using what&#8217;s already been proven.</p>
<p>Hey guys, Silvio Perez from AdConversion and in today&#8217;s video I want to show you how you can spy on your Google ads competition. And specifically I want to show you four tools that I personally use and I find very useful when it comes to spying on the competition.</p>
<p>So you can get that inside scoop. Now when it comes to spying on the competition, you actually need to know who your competition is because if not, you&#8217;re not going to know who to spy on right? Now, If you&#8217;ve already been running Google ad campaigns, you can go to your auction insights report and in that report you&#8217;re going to get a detailed list of all the different competitors you&#8217;re going up against so that you can do research on them.</p>
<p>And if in the case you haven&#8217;t ran Google ad campaigns before, maybe this is your first time out of the gate or you&#8217;re a brand new business, then I highly recommend just doing some research on Google.</p>
<p>Find out who are the people in the industry that you&#8217;re going to be going up against. Put together a list of all their websites so that you can start to spy on them and do the research outlined in this video using one of these four tools that I&#8217;m going to talk about.</p>
<p>Now, the first tool you can use to spy, on your Google ads competition is the ad preview and diagnosis tool. So the first way you can spy on your competition is using the ad preview and diagnosis tool.</p>
<p>This tool is actually meant to be used to see whether or not your ads are actually serving, but you can also use it, see what other competitors are running on the same keywords you are. So to do that, go to your Google ads account, click tools and settings, and then under planning, click ad preview and diagnosis.</p>
<p>And then from here just choose whatever location that you&#8217;re advertising in. So I&#8217;m going to put Miami, Florida, and let&#8217;s just go with this example. If I&#8217;m a personal injury attorney, and you can see here when I scroll down, you can see here all the different people that are advertising on this keyword in my targeted location.</p>
<p>So these are all the different competitors. If I was a personal injury attorney in Miami in this example, these are all my different competitors that are bidding on these keywords. So you can come here and you can see all their different ads, you can get ideas for ad copy, you can get an understanding on who showing up the most.</p>
<p>Often aside from using your auction insights report, so this is another way for you to spy on the competition and see what&#8217;s going on. You can also switch the device preview here from mobile to desktop and you can see it in another format as well.</p>
<p>So you can see here Anidjar &amp; Levine seems to be the number one popping up, so this is a great way for you to get different ideas. You can also scroll all the way down here, don&#8217;t forget about the bottom three ads to see more competitors and you can get a really good understanding on more or less who is in the auction place with you.</p>
<p>The second tool you can use to spy on your Google ads competition is Adbeat, which you can find at adbeat.com the second really cool tool you can use to spy on your Google ads competition is called Adbeat.</p>
<p>And to get started with this, just go to adbeat.com all you have to do is create a free account and you can just enter in your competitor&#8217;s website address right here and then you&#8217;ll be able to get a lot of information on them.</p>
<p>Adbeat&#8217;s really useful in terms of finding out different like display ads that your competitors are running and seeing overall what kind of traffic they&#8217;re receiving to their website. Now your come, your competitor has to have a lot of traffic coming in.</p>
<p>They have to have been, you know, have some sort of presence already. A lot of times if they&#8217;re like a small local business and they don&#8217;t really have much presence yet, this tool might not have picked them up yet.</p>
<p>So you want to make sure that they are bigger competitors, that they have some sort of traction. But all you gotta do is just paste in whichever competitor you&#8217;re looking into. And you&#8217;ll see here, so let&#8217;s say Nike is my competition.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m going to click search and you can see here Nike pops up. So I&#8217;m gonna click on nike.com and we&#8217;re going to see so much information on Nike in terms of what they&#8217;re doing online with advertising.</p>
<p>So you can see here, you can get an overview on, you know, what kind of ads they&#8217;re running, standard native video landing pages, how many ads have been seen this month, the different ad channels.</p>
<p>So direct native programmatic, you know their ad creatives by size. So you can get a lot of detailed information right here. Their ad types, if it&#8217;s HTML5, image or text, etcetera. Okay, publisher categories.</p>
<p>And then you can see here you can, this is my favorite part about Adbeat is when you&#8217;re looking for display advertising, creative examples, and you&#8217;re looking up your different competition, you can see the different ads that they&#8217;re running.</p>
<p>So this can give you a great understanding on what your competitors are up to. You can also see here their video ads, they&#8217;re running the landing pages, they&#8217;re driving traffic to. So this tool is really cool and it also gives you similar advertisers.</p>
<p>So other competitors you might not have thought of. You can see here as well for further information and kind of going here with these standard ads, I can click on it and it&#8217;s going to go ahead and open up a whole new window of all of Nike&#8217;s different ads so you can see your advertiser&#8217;s ads.</p>
<p>So this is a really cool tool. You can get a lot of good creative ideas and really get a good understanding on the behind the scenes of what your competition is doing. So I highly recommend checking out Adbeat for those bigger competitors that are running a lot of advertising.</p>
<p>So you can see here all these different ads Nike has been running. So that&#8217;s really cool. So definitely check out Adbeat. It&#8217;s a great tool for spying on the competition. The third tool you can use to spy on your Google ads competition is isearchfrom and you can find that isearchfrom.</p>
<p>com I search from, is awesome tool for performing Google searches in places that you&#8217;re not physically located to get started with it. Just go to, isearchfrom.com. So for example, let&#8217;s say you&#8217;re a personal injury attorney and you&#8217;re advertising in Miami, Florida, but you&#8217;re not actually physically located in Miami, Florida and you&#8217;re, let&#8217;s say in New York right now and you want to see all the different searches happening in Miami, Florida, but you&#8217;re in New York.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s where this tool is really cool. I search from, you can simulate those different Google searches in anywhere of the world as long as you specify the country and the city. So to use this tool, just go here to Isearchfrom.</p>
<p>com dropped down in the country, put whichever country you&#8217;re trying to look into. I&#8217;m going to put United States, you can put whichever language I&#8217;m going to leave it to English device I usually never touch, but you can also change this as well and put whatever your preferences and then from there just type in one of your keywords that you want to see all the different competitors advertising for, I&#8217;m going to use that example of personal injury attorney and then down here you have some more options, right? So if you don&#8217;t want to just see it at the national level, right, which is United States.</p>
<p>In this case you can specify by city. So that&#8217;s what I&#8217;m going to do. I&#8217;m going to put Miami [inaudible] and then the rest you can also change to you have some additional options. For the most part, I never really touched that.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s usually for me, it&#8217;s the keyword for the search, the country, the language, and then the specific city. So then from there, once you have all that set, just click search and this is going to simulate that Google search as if we were physically in that location.</p>
<p>So there we go, and now we can see all the different ads popping up in real time in the actual auction place. Now the only drawback with the Isearchfrom tool is if you click on one of these ads, it&#8217;s not going to take you to their page.</p>
<p>So if in the case you want to see their actual website that they&#8217;re driving this traffic to, you&#8217;re just going to have to copy their URL address and then just paste it into your browser. That&#8217;s the only drawback with this tool, but this is a great tool to be able to perform those Google searches anywhere in the world despite where you&#8217;re physically located.</p>
<p>And finally, the fourth tool you can use to spy on your Google ads competition is SpyFu. And you can find that at spyfu.com SpyFu is a paid tool, but this is a great tool for you to be able to see what keywords your competition is bidding on in the search campaigns as well as what kind of ads they&#8217;re running for those keywords as well.</p>
<p>And you can really see here with this tool what the best ads they&#8217;ve been running, which keywords they&#8217;ve been bidding on the longest. So it&#8217;s going to give you a lot of information in terms of what the competition is doing so that you can really take that inside look.</p>
<p>Now SpyFu, again, it is a paid tool, but they do allow you some limited options. If you don&#8217;t have a paid account, you can do a couple searches and you can see some information. So I&#8217;ll show you what that looks like.</p>
<p>Just go ahead and type in your competitor&#8217;s name. I&#8217;m going to go with that Nike example and then when I searched Nike it&#8217;s going to show me an overview of the type of traffic they&#8217;re re receiving from organic and paid.</p>
<p>So you can see here, nike.com paid search on the right and then organic SEO on left. So this is also a great tool in terms of SEO information when it comes to spying on your competition. But for this video, let&#8217;s focus on paid search.</p>
<p>So you can see here it says your estimated budget for this competitor of Nike is $279,000 a month, 19,000 keywords, 940,000 PPC clicks, etc. Etc. So a really cool thing with SpyFu is you can click into the keywords and you can see what keywords are my competition bidding on and the ads that they&#8217;re running for those different keywords as well.</p>
<p>Now, if you don&#8217;t have the paid option, you&#8217;re going to be limited. As you can see here, it&#8217;s asking you to log in to see the results, which means to create an account. But for even the limited option, you can still get some pretty good information.</p>
<p>So for example, if I click on total ads, it&#8217;ll sort by total ads and these are the ones that you want to see the most. You see this one right here, it&#8217;s not showing me cause I don&#8217;t have a paid account, but the one that says seven ads, that&#8217;s when you sort by total ads.</p>
<p>The more ads they have per keyword means they&#8217;ve been running ads the longest for those keywords. So you know those are really good keywords for them. Now to see their ads, you can just go up here under PPC research and you can click on ad history or you can just click on ad history right here at the top.</p>
<p>And this is going to give you examples of what your competitors ads are. So again, you can see their copy, you can, you can get ideas, inspiration from it so that when you go to write your own ads, you kind of take the best from what they have to offer and make your own version of it.</p>
<p>So this is loading and it&#8217;s going to show on the left hand side the different keywords. And then on the right hand side, the different ads and their level of visibility for the ads. Another cool thing to with SpyFu is it gives you templates.</p>
<p>So they&#8217;ll give you different templates and things like that. So they&#8217;ll make your life easier in terms of creating campaigns and you can look more into that. But in the sake of spying on your competition, it&#8217;s really gonna come down to those, those keywords, their estimated budget.</p>
<p>And again the ad history. And you can see what that looks like here. So you see for the keyword Nike, these are all the different ads and you can scroll back from the prior months. So you see October, November, December, all the way back to January.</p>
<p>I mean you can really, really see what your competition has been up to. And then you can see on the right hand side says top ads, this is the number one because 16% of ad served was this one. So this is the ad that gets the most visibility and you can see exactly what that looks like.</p>
<p>So SpyFu, again, it is a paid tool. You can use the free option. Eventually you&#8217;ll get limited and they&#8217;ll, they&#8217;ll ask you to make a new account, but you can get some good information on the free version.</p>

<p>I just did a brief overview, so I was like okay, I&#8217;ll. Do a more in-depth video on how I used ad spied to find fresh creatives and to get ideas for that campaign. But before I get into that, I want to mention that my affiliate marketing with Cody free facebook group, if you guys, want to join and tell me what you want to see on my youtube channel &#8211; feel free to click the link in the description and when you Request the join you just have to answer three membership questions.</p>
<p>Question 3 is the most important type, the following phrase twice in the box below I will not spam. If I do spam, I will be called out and removed. I have I have everyone write this and twice because the previous group that I had, I just accepted everyone automatically and it literally filled up with so much spam so fast.</p>
<p>So if you want to be a part of a no spam, Facebook group click the link in the description below I&#8217;d love to have you in the group and then you could tell me what you want to see on this YouTube channel.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s very important that you answer all the questions and agree to group rules, because I probably had around 500 people request to join the group. But I only accepted about 120, because the majority of people didn&#8217;t, follow the rules and didn&#8217;t write to this twice so so I&#8217;ve, been denying a lot of people, so just follow the 3 steps, because I don&#8217;t want this group to turn into a spam zone.</p>
<p>So with that being said, I&#8217;m going to come into ads by here and before I get too deep into the tutorial, I want to mention that it does cost money to use ads by there was a free trial. At some point I don&#8217;t know if they&#8217;re still doing that.</p>
<p>But right now I&#8217;m, paying $ 99 a month. It might go up to like 147 a month, but it&#8217;s totally worth it, because you can spy on affiliates that are doing huge numbers, get ideas and start making profitable Facebook ad campaigns.</p>
<p>And if you&#8217;re looking for an alternative. If you think like, if 100 bucks a month, is too steep for you, I totally understand, I do have a video on big spy. Big spy is a free Facebook, ad spy tool, and I&#8217;ve used that a lot too.</p>
<p>I still use it to this day, so you can check out that video and save some money. If you don&#8217;t want to invest the $ 100 into ads back, so that&#8217;s that and let&#8217;s, get into it. For starters, I&#8217;m gonna go over all the criteria that you could use to search for ads.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll start out with ad text view. Let&#8217;s say we&#8217;re, promoting a Clickbank offer and let&#8217;s. Just say it&#8217;s like Ted&#8217;s Woodworking you could type in woodworking. Here add two filters, and then you could start seeing ads that have woodworking in the add text, so that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Add text comments. I don&#8217;t, really use that I don&#8217;t use the advertiser name. Unless I find an advertiser that&#8217;s, doing huge numbers, then I might type in an advertiser name here to see what other ads are running.</p>
<p>But I haven&#8217;t done that too much. Then you can search by URL landing, page URL or landing page text, and I would have to say that add text and landing page text are the most common things that I search for.</p>
<p>When I&#8217;m using ads 5, that&#8217;s right there, that&#8217;s, the most common right there site type, Facebook or Instagram. If you&#8217;re just looking to do Instagram ads, you can click that if you&#8217;re just looking for Facebook right there, but I leave it on both and then you can do gender you can do age ranges just drag that along.</p>
<p>So I don&#8217;t use that much I like to keep it broad, but whatever you want to do daily likes, I don&#8217;t mess with that total likes. So you could use this to filter out the ads that are like brand new. So let&#8217;s say you know what I&#8217;m, just gonna type it in I&#8217;m gonna type in woodworking.</p>
<p>So now, right away, we get hit with makers mob. This is clearly a woodworking tedswoodworking ad right here and then, if you come down here, it&#8217;s got more than a thousand likes, so that&#8217;s, a great way to filter out ads that aren&#8217;t really performing well, Because, obviously, the more likes and interaction you get on an ad the better they&#8217;re, probably doing so.</p>
<p>That is a great filter to use and look at these ads. It&#8217;s just so interesting to see all the different angles. For the Ted&#8217;s, Woodworking offer. So I&#8217;m going to take that off that&#8217;s, a media type. You could, if you&#8217;re, just looking to spy on people promoting Ted&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Woodworking using video click, video just photo click photo. I like to leave it on video and photo and then you can enter and create it between or even seen, between and then labels. This is once you like start spying and saving ads.</p>
<p>You can label them and then you can just search search by labels right here networks. This is a really cool it&#8217;s got a whole bunch of affiliate networks that you can choose from, and I&#8217;m going to come and click Clickbank, because that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>The Ted&#8217;s. Woodworking offer right here, so we got woodworking and then Clickbank and then we can see all these different types of ads and then start getting ideas, and so that&#8217;s. The networks button affiliate.</p>
<p>You can enter an affiliate ID or offer ID. I&#8217;ve tried to mess around with this, but I really haven&#8217;t had any success with this filter working. Maybe you will, but I just haven&#8217;t and I stopped messing around with that advertiser, user ID or advertiser username technologies.</p>
<p>So you can just come down here and only see ads that are using a certain type of software. So, for example, if we want to see Clickbank affiliates that have woodworking in their ad and are using clickfunnels as their landing page, just do that and then you can come down here and I&#8217;m gonna open this to see if it okay.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m gonna go like this and then now I&#8217;m in the ad and I can see the landing page. So I&#8217;m going to click, and then this does look like a Clickbank. I mean I click funnels landing page just so you can know for sure you can view page source and then once that happens, the original favicon for the click funnels page turns into the click funnels logo if they use click funnels.</p>
<p>So, as you can see right there, so that&#8217;s, working pretty awesome stuff, you can get so detailed and all this stuff and sorry, if that was your landing page, I&#8217;m, not trying to expose you so that&#8217;S, a really good drop-down right there, it&#8217;s technologies and then your country&#8217;s, language and then your button.</p>
<p>So you can target people that are doing woodworking and then I have learned more as their call to action button and then it &#8216; Ll have all the learn Morse. So that is how simple it is to go through ads by and then start spying on affiliates who are doing numbers that a bunch of likes on their ads that I&#8217;ve been running for a while.</p>
<p>Then you can see what&#8217;s. Working, get ideas, get inspired, and another thing that I like to do is just open up a blank WordPad and then just you know, label it spying, and for this example, we did Ted&#8217;s Woodworking.</p>
<p>So like, if I&#8217;m coming down here, I&#8217;m gonna search from likes again, so I&#8217;m gonna bring this to a thousand okay, so this one is active still today, woodworking projects, this guys doing some Numbers then you could just come over here and then I would.</p>
<p>If I was running this, I would make sure to make a note of the URL of the add spy, and then you can come over here and see their landing page that they&#8217;re using come back over here and then label it lander.</p>
<p>You know, and then you could even download the video if you wanted to use that video or you could just look for other videos that are like this. This video, I&#8217;ve, actually tested out this exact video before for this offer, and it works good because that&#8217;s, such a unique little chair bench thing right there, so that&#8217;s good, so that&#8217;s.</p>
<p>What I would do, I would just spend a lot of time, spying, finding different advertisers promoting the offer in different ways, get inspired, make my own landing page similar to theirs. Remember, don&#8217;t copy the whole thing exactly basically being successful with affiliate marketing comes down to actually putting in the work and putting in the man-hours making money online.</p>
<p>Everyone tries to say that it&#8217;s super easy, but you do have to do your research and really grind out on some campaigns. So another thing that I like to do when I am thinking about creating a couple campaigns for Facebook.</p>
<p>I come down here and I clear all the filters and then I&#8217;ll just choose a network and I&#8217;ll stick with Clickbank because I feel, like click, makes it easiest for everyone to get into. So I&#8217;ll use that, for this example, I&#8217;ll just choose Clickbank, and then I won&#8217;t do date, recent on top, because even though that&#8217;s, an interesting ad right there, I will come over Here and just go buy likes, so let&#8217;s, see who has the most likes on a Clickbank affiliate marketing campaign, so three popular ab exercises that do more harm than good, so we can come over here and see where this goes to.</p>
<p>So this goes to flat belly fast. It is a clickbank product. I just don&#8217;t, see the Clickbank badge. Oh here it is so that goes directly to the offer page that&#8217;s risky. I would add my own Lander and maybe swipe this background &#8211; do a title that&#8217;s like this.</p>
<p>I wouldn&#8217;t use the words flat belly fast, because you don&#8217;t want to make any claims, because that&#8217;s, just asking to get your ad account shut down, but that&#8217;s. Crazy! Look at this four hundred and thirty six thousand likes on this ad one hundred twenty four thousand comments and 130 thousand chairs that is freaking insane unreal.</p>
<p>Okay, so next up is the coolest log cabin ever take a peek in peek inside, and you can also look at the date, so this was created on May 7th 2017 and then it was last seen in 2018 and this one was last seen 2019.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s, try to find one that&#8217;s still running today. Okay, so I had a scroll a little bit, but the last book of remedy is last seen on May 14 2020. It started March, 2nd, 2020, ok and this this has a hundred and thirty-eight thousand likes on it.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s, go and check this up, Marn March 8th 2020. So it&#8217;s been running for two months and it has over a hundred thirty thousand likes that&#8217;s, freaking crazy! Now let &#8216; S highlight the URL and go to it.</p>
<p>Well, it goes to a very, very long sales page, but this is awesome. Let&#8217;s, see how long the actual ad video is. It&#8217;s about plans. Well, they&#8217;re. Clearly doing something right, this video is really capturing attention, getting a lot of likes and comments and look at the shares that&#8217;s, just insane 117 thousand shares and you can come check out the demographic, so they&#8217;re, targeting probably like 60 percent male forty percent female the country&#8217;s roughly eighty three percent United States and then the age groups I&#8217;d &#8211; have to say the majority is a forty to sixty.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s, this forty to seventy? Okay and then you can just dive into the technology. They&#8217;re using leadpages and it&#8217;s. Obviously a Clickbank offer. That is how easy it is to spy using ads by a good thing to do is just get into the routine of going on ads by and just checking out ads every morning, or this is something that I&#8217;ve been starting to do is Just I wake up early, then I do like an hour of just looking through ads getting ideas adding to my master list of my spy notes.</p>

<p>Get into my computer, we&#8217;re, going to compare the two systems and hopefully find a campaign idea to run for diet this year in January or next year. I guess because we&#8217;re approaching January, so let&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Get into this. This is complexity versus abstract, two spy tools that show you ads on native ad platforms or push ad platforms and other places around the internet. Okay. So today we&#8217;re, going to try and find a winning diet campaign because we are approaching the best time of year for diet, but of course, diet works all year round.</p>
<p>So inside ad plexi, I&#8217;m, going to be going back and forth to ad complexity and sex, okay, so here&#8217;s, what you would see if you had an anthrax account and you just logged into the native platform. You would also have the ability to switch between push and native on ad complexity.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re. You&#8217;re, paying for each platform, so this is the native ads platform. If I wanted to see push ads, I&#8217;d. Have to pay also for the push ads okay, so there are features of both that are really good and some better on complexity, some better on and strike.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m, going to try and do that right now and show you what I like about each platform. So what I really like about complexity is the fact that I can sort easily here, um and it&#8217;s. It&#8217;s all right here, but it&#8217;s kind of the same, also on and strikes where I can see how the number of days these ads have been running.</p>
<p>So if I want to sort by the number of days running, which is one of the biggest filters that you need, because you want to see ads that have been running a long time &#8211; okay, next, we want to find a network that, maybe perhaps we&#8217;re already working with as an affiliate, because I&#8217;m doing this as an affiliate, so I want to find something that is working for affiliates.</p>
<p>So one of the biggest um affiliate networks obviously is Clickbank. We&#8217;ll. Compare Clickbank today just to make this video quick, but there&#8217;s a whole bunch of different networks here, but here&#8217;s. Another thing on and on complexity they don&#8217;t have as many affiliate networks as you would see.</p>
<p>Over here on the abstract, okay, they have a lot more affiliate networks that you can compare. So if you filter out by affiliate network, you&#8217;re, going to start seeing the exact ads that people are running from that network.</p>
<p>So you know they&#8217;re affiliates and you can see exactly what is being run here. Okay, so that&#8217;s, just um one advantage on Zantrex versus ad complexity. So let&#8217;s choose Clickbank here, because let&#8217;s find a winning Clickbank offer that we could perhaps run, and I&#8217;ll show you how to do that.</p>
<p>So click on Clickbank here and in Zantrex. I can do the same thing here by selecting Clickbank okay. Now. The next thing we need to consider is that there are a ton of traffic sources out there, so the first filter we just did is only filtering what affiliate network is being promoted here there&#8217;s, also a ton of ad networks here.</p>
<p>So wherever you&#8217;re, getting your traffic, you can perhaps sort by the exact traffic source that you&#8217;re. You&#8217;re choosing here, so you can see there&#8217;s, a ton of taboola ads here there&#8217;s, outbrain pretty much.</p>
<p>All of the mainstream traffic sources are here on the abstract. Now, on applexity there aren&#8217;t as many traffic sources. As you can see here, um there&#8217;s only less than a dozen on an on applexity, so that is one other advantage for abstract now.</p>
<p>The next thing I want to do is I want to filter the obvious ads that are doing well, so what I&#8217;ll, do first, is I will filter for the last uh we&#8217;ll, say 14 days, so I want ads that Have been running 14 days, I can do that here by moving this up to 14.</p>
<p>. This one I like, because you can actually do a date range on ad plexity, so I can actually select for the last 30 days. I also want the last 30 days ads that have been running for 14 days. So now you can see it&#8217;s filtered out more adoptions on here I can&#8217;t.</p>
<p>Do that date range okay! I can only do the number of days it&#8217;s been running, so this is um. This is actually important to me. I find I don&#8217;t. I don&#8217;t really like that that you can&#8217;t really see because you can see it.</p>
<p>I &#8216; Ve only got ads from November October, and I can sort here the date the last scene descending and you&#8217;ll see that it has October to December so December, 4th is it&#8217;s, good? It&#8217;s, showing me the most recent ads, but the date range I can&#8217;t really choose so one win for complexity here now.</p>
<p>Another win for ad plexity here that I really like is the fact that I can sort by received the most traffic, so I can see immediately what ads are getting the most traffic and these are all Clickbank offers by the way.</p>
<p>So if you&#8217;re, a Clickbank affiliate, it&#8217;s very easy to see what people are running right now. Okay &#8211; and that is another win for complexity &#8211; is all of the information is right here on this page. If I was to come into anstrex, I can&#8217;t filter by the most amount of traffic, and I can only see these numbers here add strength and gravity which I&#8217;m, not going to really say I trust too much.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t understand the algorithm, so I can&#8217;t really say I trust it, but maybe it&#8217;s. Working really well, and maybe they&#8217;re. You know their gravity and their ad strength is effective. But to me, I like to see the number of hits it&#8217;s had in the last 14 days and with complexity.</p>
<p>I can see that right here, 5 000 hits 27 days six devices. I could see all that just by hovering over the ad, so there&#8217;s. It&#8217;s, a lot faster to work on ad plexity to find these offers. So the next thing I want to do is I want to filter by diet.</p>
<p>I want to see ads or landing pages about diet, so on complexity, I can actually choose if I want to see what&#8217;s on the landing page or the ad info, I can also filter by images advertiser publisher placements, all of that stuff.</p>
<p>Using this query bar on anthrax, it&#8217;s, a little more, I guess cumbersome. You have to come here. You click on search but watch what happens when I hit a new search here and I search diet. It&#8217;s going to reset all of my other previous stuff.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m back to one day, took away my network everything so now I have to start over. Okay, I don&#8217;t like that. It&#8217;s, a glitch, I think, and stress they shouldn&#8217;t. Have it like that? Okay, on complexity, we have the ability to just type in the diet.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s, going to keep all of my other filters in place. Here and then it&#8217;s, going to just filter out ads about diet or on the landing page. If I reset this in the ad info, it &#8216; Ll show me ads that talk about diet, so another big win for complexity, because this obviously helps keep things in order a lot easier.</p>
<p>So you can see how the amount of diet ads has dwindled, really a lot here that something that&#8217;s been running 14 days in the last 30 days, but you can see the keto diet plan seems to be the winner here.</p>
<p>We also have keto yup, so it&#8217;s, pretty much the keto diet plan and if I select landing page here, maybe I&#8217;ll get more options. This is um why? I would suggest using the landing page filter because you&#8217;re, going to get more options because a lot of people aren&#8217;t putting diet into their ad text or their ad headline.</p>
<p>Because a lot of these strategies here are to keep the ads a little vague to spark interest. So if you say this is the best diet ever people that aren&#8217;t interested in diet, aren&#8217;t going to click the ad.</p>
<p>They already know what it&#8217;s about. So you can see. A lot of these headlines are not related to diet. It&#8217;s, trying to get people to click on the actual offer. Okay. So next on anthrax, if I was to search diet like I said it kind of resets all the filters I don&#8217;t like that.</p>
<p>So now I have to kind of reset all my filters. I have to choose the affiliate network again and it&#8217;s kind of a pain in the butt. But what can you do? I guess you&#8217;re still getting the same information pretty much.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re, getting a little more information here, but again I have to do all this so affiliate network Clickbank days running um. 18. Then also. This is another thing I don &#8216; T like about add answer x is: I can&#8217;t reset this back without resetting the whole thing again right, so I can&#8217;t go back to 14 like I can on here, or I can just move it back and forth and Kind of choose what I want to choose here so aside from the pricing.</p>
<p>Obviously, and sex is a lot cheaper, but I think with ad plexity it&#8217;s, a lot easier to use and you&#8217;re, getting a lot more information right on the front. So let&#8217;s. Go into now. Let&#8217;s. Just assume I&#8217;ve picked the offer.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s, see if we can find one that is going to work here. So this one here, the custom keto diet plan. Let&#8217;s. Just choose that so on ad complexity. If I come in here, I can start looking at all of the data it&#8217;s, going to take a second to load up, and you can see that this affiliate, assuming it&#8217;s.</p>
<p>An affiliate is running in all of these countries, so you can easily see all of the countries that are running you can scroll down. You have all of the data on one page, so it makes it much easier to filter through you can see the device types they&#8217;re targeting on the days of the week.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re running the trends of their ads um. You can see &#8211; maybe they paused here and then they started up for another test and then they made some changes and then they started up again and now they&#8217;re running consistently since November 23rd, and so this is good information to have.</p>
<p>You can see all of their publishers by duration, the placement ids all on one page again a super win for ad plexity here, because it&#8217;s all on one-page plus. I can just look at the landing page I can see which one&#8217;s been running the longest by the number of days running, and I can select this one which been, which has been running for 15 days.</p>
<p>If I click on it, they&#8217;re, going to filter out my referrer. It&#8217;s, going to show me the landing page, and this is an affiliate by the looks of it because it&#8217;s. It has the hop equals, so that means an affiliate is direct linking to this offer and it appears that it&#8217;s working for them.</p>
<p>So maybe this is an idea for a diet. The campaign is running a compliant custom. Keto diet ad on some of the ad platforms out there, and you can actually start to filter and look at what ad platforms simply by looking in here as to what platform they&#8217;re, actually using okay.</p>
<p>So this one is rev content. So very easy to do on anthrax. However, here&#8217;s. What I get for results on the last 18 days kind of hard to see any other ads. I can&#8217;t filter by landing page versus an ad. I&#8217;m sure.</p>
<p>I could, if I went into the depths of their search function, but it&#8217;s just a little harder to find. Now let&#8217;s. Just click on this as an example to see what I would see. Okay, so I&#8217;m, not getting all of the other data on the one-pager that we wanted to see from adplexity.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure I can go into these little tabs here and find that right here I can click on stats and I can see they have pretty much the same info um. So it&#8217;s, not a big win for ad plexi. Considering that you can still get that info here, you can see the creatives that this advertiser is also running, so you can see all of their similar ads now.</p>
<p>You can also do that on complexity as well, by searching by advertiser once you find them so, but again you can do that on both platforms. Coming up again, you can look at where they&#8217;re running the ads.</p>
<p>So you can see these are the places that are getting the most traffic, so here&#8217;s, a win for ad um and sex, because it&#8217;s, showing you the percentage of the traffic that they think um. This affiliate is running on.</p>
<p>So navbug.com, you can see the publisher as well as the traffic source. Okay and all of the traffic sources really are right here in these little boxes and then, if you click click on the button, I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;re, going to get a lot more information, the exact advertisers, and where they&#8217;re actually placing their ads so good information.</p>
<p>You can actually take this information and move it on to the Google display network. If you&#8217;re running compliant and say, hey look. I want to run my ad on this advertiser or this website. You can actually just run your ads on Google display network to these platforms and probably make some serious cash if you find some good placements.</p>
<p>So really, both platforms have a lot of information. I&#8217;m going to say if I had to choose a winner between complexity and anthrax, you&#8217;d, be a very tough one to choose, because really both have the ability to do the same amount of information.</p>
<p>Just I like filtering better on ad plexity because of all of the ease of use and it doesn&#8217;t reset your searches every time you search, and you can still look at all of the placements. All the publishers, everything inside ad Plexi, while you&#8217;re, paying more on ad complexity.</p>
<p>I think the ease of use is worth the additional price. But if you&#8217;re on a budget and you want the same amount of information and if not more, you can still use the anthrax listings here and use that.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m using both really, I think they&#8217;re, both good tools, hard to say, which one is better but uh. If you want discounts on either of them, please use the links. In my description.
